You Good morning welcome to your day if we complete this meditation we should feel more relaxed physically alert and feeling positive about the day by taking a few minutes at the start of the day we can drastically shift the course of our day by introducing mindfulness before we get busy with our lives you can practice this anywhere but it is always preferred to feel the Sun upon your body at least a little bit if possible wherever you choose feel free to get comfortable while becoming aware of your body breathing in and out and the subtle movement that takes place during the breathing cycle none but ourselves can free our minds This quote by Bob Marley reminds me that my mind creates the outlook on my day and depending on that outlook my day can either seem bleak or full of wondrous possibilities check in with the body observe any sensations check in with the mind each thought is just a cloud floating by check in with your emotions simply noticing any impulsive reactions the breath is relaxed and natural and your breath is a reflection of how you live your life and you're just noticing how it feels to be seated here in this present moment meditation isn't about denying or eliminating your feelings it's a gentle reminder to be where you are hold space for what is and about being willing being willing to become being willing to come home being willing to explore we can tune into the flow of our existence a bit more inviting a deep breath in through your nose taking the energy of the Sun and all the energy around you feeling your chest and belly expand on the inhale holding the breath at the top breathing out emptying your belly unloading your body of all the stagnant energy that has built up over the night during your sleep that you don't need for the day become aware now of the effect gravity has on your body drawing you down towards the ground notice any sensation where the body makes contact with the surface beneath you and continue nice deep breathing through the nose as you continue breathing softly in your mind's eye envision your body in the position you're now in but from the outside you're looking at yourself from outside of your body just in the position you're in breathing calmly and fully and while you're looking slightly down upon yourself just witnessing and accepting what you see you notice your breath is connected with the body because it swells a bit upon inhalation and then it collapses a bit upon exhalation you're relaxed breathing gently and watching yourself from the outside in as your breathing guides your experience here your breath also activates the release of toxins from the body in many different ways and one of those ways is mentally and so as you continue breathing you notice that liquid is beginning to flow off and away from your body its energy that's being released and guided by the breath the source of this white liquid is from the source of creation from the cosmos and with you in your meditative posture you're becoming in tune with the energy that's there all around you all the time and you're now allowing it to flow over you down your body and off and away from you and taking away any toxins as you breathe in and out you can feel it start at the crown of your head slowly moving down your face your neck your shoulders front of chest upper back middle of torso middle back down your arms down to your elbows down to your forearms moving past your hips blowing down your legs down down your arms to your hands now to your feet and then continuing off your body and away from the body taking with it the stuff that you've collected from the night and the day before that you no longer need still visualizing yourself from slightly above and just letting it go with the breath allowing your breath to guide this experience allowing your awareness to ride the shifting tides of the natural and full breath as the liquid flows away following the breath all the way from the entrance of the nostrils down into the belly filling out the lungs and chest feeling the entire body gently expand and becoming full of air and release warm liquid takes away with it any toxins and energy you no longer need that will not serve you on your path during the day follow the breath all the way in and hold at the top just a little bit and all the way out and as you continue breathing allowing your breathing cycle to guide this experience you feel your body soften on each exhalation as you release more of what you don't need of what no longer serves you releasing any tension if you can feel the sun's rays upon your skin allow that energy to further purify you allowing that liquid to simply roll off you taking away everything you no longer need and whenever you feel tense anxious or just disturbed from the night you can use your breath to anchor yourself in the present moment and help facilitate this liquid taking away with it what you no longer need and bringing this meditation to a close come back to a full awareness of the body taking your time and slowly opening up the eyes once again you may want to wiggle your toes bring some slight movement into your body
