For full effect,

I highly recommend you listen while lying down where you expect to sleep.

This will allow you to receive my instructions on a deeper level as you peacefully drift into a deep sleep.

Breathe deeply.

Exhale completely.

Nice easy deep breaths.

Feel the body beginning to unwind and loosen up.

Notice it sinking deeply into the bedding beneath you.

As you inhale,

Imagine that air you're breathing moving into every part of your lungs and down into the depth of your belly,

Expanding it full and rich with air.

As you exhale,

Contract your belly,

Pulling it into your spine and emptying it completely.

Each exhalation is preparation for an even deeper,

More relaxing breath.

Inhale,

Pulling air in through the lungs,

Down into the belly,

Deeper and deeper,

Expanding powerfully and gently,

Holding that breath for just a moment.

Then exhale,

Contracting the muscles,

Expelling the air until the belly reaches the spine.

Deep,

Deep breaths in and out.

In and out.

In and out.

Feel your body untangle just a little bit more.

Your body is unraveling from the day's tension and returning to a relaxed state.

Your organs,

Blood vessels,

Connecting tissue,

Bones,

Flesh.

Feel them slowly loosening and lengthening into the soft support of your bed.

Inhale,

Pulling air in through the lungs,

Down into the belly,

Deep and deep,

Expanding powerfully and gently,

Pulling that breath for just a moment.

Notice the weight of your head.

Feel your shoulders drop and the neck loosen.

Feel the muscles across the chest unclench and allow your belly to soften.

Feel the muscles along your spine melt like wax.

Feel the heart slowing down and resting at a comfortable rhythm.

Let your arms sink.

Feel your joints supported by the bed.

Let your hands drop and feel the skin making contact with the bedding and relax.

Feel the skin making contact with the air and relax.

Feel your fingers surrender to the day and float beside you and relax.

Let your hips drop and become heavy so that the thighs relax.

Then the knees relax.

Then your ankles loosen and allow the feet to drop open and you can feel your toes unknot.

Breathe.

Now imagine a relaxing stream of water flowing through a shaded forest.

The stream is calm,

Continuous,

Clear,

And peacefully flowing.

You're lying beside it and above it on top of a large rounded mound that is covered by a layer of very soft moss.

Your supple body sinks into the velvety moss.

The moss supports all your curves and lines just right.

You are completely relaxed.

The sounds of the forest stream and birds creates an atmosphere of peace,

Safety,

And tranquility.

Both minds enjoy the sound of the flowers,

Ocean and devoted body music,

Plus the sound Any tension from the day that remains starts to materialize as tiny pebbles in the palms of your hands.

They begin to fall out of your hands rolling away and down into the gentle stream.

Your breath helps remove the stress and transforms it into small round pebbles.

As you exhale they roll out of your open hands and get carried away into the distance by the stream floating effortlessly down and away.

Breathe and let go.

The energy of the forest,

Birds and stream soothes you and invites you to let go.

The energy of the forest,

Birds and stream soothes you and invites you to let go.

As each pebble is formed and rolls away into the stream your body becomes lighter and lighter.

Your mind becomes quieter.

The tension passes away,

Disappears and becomes part of the stream bed.

And as you breathe this weightlessness begins to gather at the top of your head.

See this weightlessness as a radiant cloud of light beginning to surround you moving from the top of your head down your neck and around your shoulders.

And as this radiant light moves down and around your body flowing and drifting softly enveloping you in love notice that you have become lighter than a feather,

Softer than a pillow.

The mind is so quiet now that there is nothing to disturb the magnificent stillness of your mind.

There is just this soft radiant light filling you surrounding you,

Gently dissolving you.

Every breath is allowing this light to enter every cell of your body and evaporate what's left of your physical body.

Healing,

Renewing,

Soothing you from head to toe.

You are at ease,

Completely relaxed and at peace.

Breathe and let go.

The energy of the light soothes you and invites you to let go.

So light and cool and free.

A warm breeze comes through,

Bringing with it hundreds of migrating butterflies.

Droplets of water from the day's showers fall from the canopy of trees and join the forest stream below.

And there is the rich scent of the forest floor in the air.

Your body becoming lighter and lighter.

Your mind quiet,

Your heart at peace.

Mesmerizing in its ability to calm and prepare one for a restful state. I felt my body slowly fading away as Elliott lulled me into sleep. I didn’t sleep for the entire night but I fell asleep peacefully and needed to use toilet when I woke up. Pranam for this valuable tool to get rest 🙏🏾🤎🫶🏾🧘🏾‍♂️🌺
