Welcome to another stress-fit meditation.
No relationship you'll ever have will be more important than the one you have with yourself.
Strengthening your relationship with yourself will also have a positive effect on all the other relationships in your life because you'll have more energy and love to give to the people closest to you,
As well as the ones you haven't even met yet.
Every thought you have produces a chemical that signals to your body how to feel according to the way that you are thinking.
When you take full responsibility for your thinking patterns,
You suddenly reduce stress levels and possibilities open.
You become empowered.
You become comfortable with the fact that you are the ruler of your world.
You become part of the big mind which has no room for self-destructive thoughts.
Every thought we have can send a ripple effect through the entire day.
Once you start feeling the way you are thinking,
Your body will generate an energy field to signal the brain to think exactly the way that you are feeling.
Thinking and feeling becomes a vicious cycle that we can easily get trapped in if we simply react to our thoughts or feelings instead of observing them.
If you wake up and have self-sabotaging thoughts,
You will start to feel disturbed,
Which will drive more thoughts of destruction resulting in a scattered energy field.
When we take a few moments to be kind towards ourselves first thing in the morning,
We are programming positivity into our entire day.
We can program our bodies to live in a stressful low vibrational state or a blissful high vibrational state and this starts with the first thoughts we have after waking up each day.
Good morning and welcome to this morning's meditation.
Find a comfortable position for this meditation.
Maintain a comfortable straight back and then gently close your eyes and mouth.
It's perfectly fine if you wish to lay down for this practice.
If you're still in bed,
Simply be comfortable closing your eyes and mouth.
I'd like to begin with a quote from Eckhart Tolle.
If your mind carries a heavy burden of past,
You will experience more of the same.
The past perpetuates itself through lack of presence.
The quality of your consciousness at this moment is what shapes the future.
As you continue waking up,
Especially before you rise from bed or reach for your phone,
Take a moment for yourself to relax into this moment and open your heart.
Breathe in,
Opening your heart to the feeling of love and breathe out the body releasing any tension here.
Now as you breathe in,
Take this strong essence of emotional energy and allow it to circulate throughout your whole body.
Anchor this energy in every cell of your body.
With each breath,
Feel your body breathing in this peaceful,
Loving,
Abundant energy and feel it circulating throughout your whole body.
Breathe in,
Opening your heart and connecting to the feeling of love and breathe out,
Allowing your body to release any of this tension,
Any fuzziness from your sleep.
Now,
Think about three things you can appreciate about yourself.
This will start your morning in a state of love,
Positivity,
And gratitude.
It's best to do before you get out of bed and begin your activities.
For example,
My three things today were,
One,
That I haven't given up my dreams when others put them down,
Two,
That I genuinely care about helping others,
And three,
That I did a good job balancing my busy schedule this week.
So as you can see,
These three things don't need to be something big or extremely important.
You could just be that you did a good job with a small and everyday task.
The focus here should be in examining yourself from within and acknowledging a few traits that you appreciate about yourself.
Allow the love and gratitude for yourself to start flowing.
Allow my voice to bring you into a deeper state of relaxation while you continue opening your heart.
Breathe in.
The heart is opening to love,
And breathe out.
The body is releasing any negativity here.
Continue practicing this breathing exercise while you think of the three things that you appreciate about yourself.
You can do this in silence for the next few moments.
It's whispering to your heart.
Thank you.

You can appreciate anything that is positive about you,
Even if it may sometimes just be that you do a good deed for someone else.
Feel free to examine your life closely,
To find these qualities about yourself that you really appreciate.
Thank you.
If you think kind thoughts about yourself every day,
After a while it becomes an automatic response.
This will lead to more and more self-kind thoughts popping up in your mind when you need them most.
Breathe in,
And breathe out.
Allowing your breath to flow through all your muscles and into your cells,
Feel this positive,
Loving,
Supportive energy infiltrate and saturate every cell in your body.
Feel this essence saturate every cell and place your awareness on a few positive qualities you can appreciate about yourself.
Breathing in through the nose,
Breathing out through the nose,
Breathing in through the nose,
Breathing out through the nose.
Destructive messages from the people around you or from other entities further away such as the media and advertising does not always help you to be kind to yourself.
Take these precious moments before you rise out of bed to set the tone of your day.
Change your input to things that are kind and constructive.
This is your choice,
And this is your time for yourself.
This is the time for you to start the day with loving thoughts towards yourself.
And thus,
This will be reflected out to all the other people that you come in contact with today and produce more love and harmony in your life.
Simply imagine yourself as your own best friend right now and feel the love for yourself spreading throughout your entire body.

You can think of this practice as searching for a strong radio signal.
Your mental activities are the different signals on the radio.
You are the receiver.
The static represents the unobserved mental chatter,
The negative thoughts,
The self-destructive patterns.
The clear signals represent the observation of your natural state of being,
Your positive thoughts,
And the self-loving patterns you want to cultivate in your life.
You can tune into whatever frequency you want,
But it's your responsibility to choose the right frequency and stick with it.
Once you find a channel of energy that is nourishing your body with appreciation for yourself,
Stay with it and feel yourselves rejuvenate and recharge from this energy,
From this essence.
Feel the clear signal of self-love radiate from your heart.
Feel the heart opening up with each inhalation and feel the peacefulness upon exhalation.
Anchor this energy to every level of your body.
Imagine this energy healing and charging your whole body full of love.

Try expressing a genuine smile now and allow your body to feel the highest form of love.

You can make more conscious choices starting today about what you want flowing into your mind instead of just going along with the same old habits.
When you're struggling throughout the day with negative thoughts about yourself,
You can bring these three qualities to mind and charge your energy field with love.
And bit by bit,
You'll be replacing the old patterns with new ones that promote loving and appreciating yourself.
The more positive your attitude to life and yourself is,
The more optimistic,
Upbeat,
Content,
And happy you will be and the longer you will be likely to live.
Remember your body responds to the way you think,
Feel,
And act,
So being positive pays dividends to your well-being.
Cultivating positive states of being over time can help you become more resilient in the face of crisis or stress-inducing events.
Everything that you perceive is the same.
Everything that you perceive is within your ability to be present.
The more your self-love expands,
The more love you have to share with all that life offers.
To be your own best friend is a relaxing and opening sensation which can change your perception of the world around you.
With time and energy,
This practice will improve presence of mind,
Body,
And soul.
