Hello everyone!
Welcome to day four of our 21-day radical self-love journey together.
Today's self-love trick is spend a day in your best life.
So I hear all the time,
I'll pursue that career when or I'll have enough money when or I'll start a family when or I'll write that book when and there are just so many ways that we're kind of putting these blocks in front of us from living our best lives.
Now we have,
This is my,
This challenge is all about not waiting for someone or something to be able to live out our best lives.
It's tapping into our own power and making our own choices to live our best lives now and so I'm going to walk you through a visualization of what it would be like to spend a day in your best life.
So I want all of you to close your eyes and start to settle into this moment.
Take a deep breath in and out and start to feel your sits bones on the ground or on the bed if you're lying down and start to tune in to what you feel in your body.
Now I want you to really visualize,
Picture yourself waking up in your best life,
Waking up ready to spend a day in your best life.
What is the first thing that you see when you're in your best life?
What is the first thing that you see when you wake up?
And where are you?
Are you in your house?
Are you in a villa?
Are you camping?
Are you in your hometown?
Take note of where you are.
Take note of your surroundings.
And what do you hear?
Do you hear laughter?
Do you hear birds?
Do you hear wind blowing through the trees?
Do you hear cars?
What do you hear around you?
Now as you get up,
What is the first thing that you do in the morning?
How do you spend your morning in your best life?
Do you go on a long walk by yourself?
Do you go to yoga?
Do you go to a workout class?
Do you catch up with friends?
Do you have breakfast with your partner?
How are you spending your morning?
Now as you go by your day in your best life,
How do you spend your time?
Are you creating something?
Are you on stage?
Are you teaching something?
Are you leading a team?
How are you spending your time?
And as you roll into the afternoon,
What do you do just for fun?
If you had free time,
How would you use it?
Do you go to the bathroom?
Do you go to the bathroom?
Do you go to the bathroom?
How would you use it?
Now as you prepare for dinner,
Where are you and what are you eating?
Who are you eating with?
How are you spending this dinner time?
Now how do you decompress from the day?
How do you spend time really feeling into really feeling into how you want your night to look like?
And then as you make yourself make your way back to your bed,
Shut off the lights,
Take a deep breath in and feel into what it was like to spend a day in your best life.
How did it make you feel?
What did you love?
What did you want to do more of?
Who were you with?
Take a few moments and let that sink in.
Soak up the time that you spent in your best life.
And when you feel ready,
You can start to wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
Maybe stretch,
Flutter your eyes open.
Ah,
Feel into what that experience was like.
So today's challenge is write out journal around what it was like to spend a day in your best life.
What surprised you?
What did you notice?
And what is one shift that you can make now to live out your best life,
To get you closer to living that life that you desire to live?
Because it's the little steps that we take now that create that life.
It's not waiting for something else.
It's not learning something new,
Meeting the right person,
Getting the right job.
It's not about that.
That will come as you become more and more clear about what it is that you desire.
What is that life that you want?
That is one of my favorite practices.
I actually do it pretty regularly.
So it's not a one and done.
It's a constant,
You know,
Tapping into,
Checking in with ourselves on what feels right for us.
What does it feel like to live our best life?
I can't wait to hear how that goes for you and what comes up when you're ready to go.
I can't wait to hear how that goes for you and what comes up,
What new realizations you have.
All right.
Talk to you soon.
