You'll start this practice by relaxing and a short mindful awareness practice. Then we will move into a practice of self-kindness and self-awareness. The greatest wisdom is true care for yourself. This meditation will help you connect to your heart, your body, and your self-compassion so that you may be a loving presence to yourself and others.

Find your even straight posture,

Feel equal weight on both feet,

Feel equal weight on both sides,

Feel both hands even and one hand resting inside the other,

Not cross just one palm kind of nestled on top of the other in a place of rest,

Feel that energy flow from palm to palm,

From the left side to the right side all around your body,

Relax your belly and your chest,

Let the spine be straight,

Lean back fully,

Give yourself permission to release your weight back and your left shoulder and your right shoulder can release,

Feel this evenness of your posture,

This energy that comes from your body when you're balanced physically and now that we've paid attention to the outer experience,

Let's bring our attention to the inner experience,

Notice what you're feeling right now,

Enjoy being with the inner experience because no matter what is there,

Whether you're feeling up or down,

You can bring your own warm loving presence to your experience,

Focusing on your inner world and see how much gentleness you can bring to how you observe your inner world,

You are here to be kind to your inner world,

Not just the outer world and gently with care,

Put both hands on your heart and begin with that same care to feel your hand move up and down,

The hand just riding the waves of the chest,

Full contact,

Rejoining the breath if the mind wanders,

Every time you feel the hand,

Feel the chest,

Feel the breath,

That's an act of love to the present moment,

Feel the movement,

Feel that aliveness and that flow and that warmth,

Acknowledging that this heart has done so much good in the world,

This heart has given love and received love and this heart can wish well for itself,

With your hands still at the heart,

Send a wish,

May I be safe,

May I offer myself care,

May I be at ease,

May I be kind to myself in every moment,

May I be a loving presence for myself,

For this heart in every moment,

Let those words sink in and as if you're receiving this flow of love from outer space,

As if out of nowhere you're receiving this flow,

This wave of love and care,

Feel it,

Receive it,

Say thank you for the warmth,

The love that's at this heart and set the intention to offer yourself this warm attention,

This connection,

This loving presence through all experiences,

Let this be the foundation,

The backdrop of all experiences that you have,

Set the intention to be with your reality,

With the heart and to always welcome your inner experience,

Feel the heart for another moment,

Enjoy being with it in this open way and end with the wish,

May every other heart be at ease also,

May every other heart connect to itself also and may I create a welcoming space,

A space of clarity,

An accepting presence for every other heart so that it can open to,

As my heart opens to itself,

It opens to the world and as it opens to the world,

Other hearts can open to themselves and now connect one palm with the other and symbolically bow the head to the heart,

Bow the mind to the body,

The body that knows everything about you,

Bowing your intellect to your inner wisdom which sees the broadest possible picture,

The broadest possible perspective,

Saying thank you to this heart which is powerful enough,

Spacious enough to welcome and include everything and a final deep breath in,

A final deep breath in,

A final deep breath out and as you open your eyes,

Come back to reality as the active loving presence that you are.

Your short, soft, loving meditations are amazing ❤️ I regularly listen to them after my longer morning-meditation. Thank you so much for sharing your gift!
