Listen to Ektaji guide us through a self-exploration meditation, “Gap of not dreaming Vs not dreaming as the Timeless Abidance in Reality.” from Chapter 29 of Nisargadatta Maharaj’s book I Am That. Recall the memory of dreams, where the witness stands apart, knowing “I am dreaming.” As the dream collapses, a gap appears- “I am not dreaming.” Yet this gap too belongs to illusion, for the ‘I’ still stands. True realization dawns only when the ‘I’ dissolves- no dream, no dreamer, no witness. What remains is timeless abidance, the awakened deep sleep (jagrat sushupti), the supreme knowing: I never dreamed, I never slept.
