Let's do a self-enquiry meditation on who or what is the Atma.
There is only the Atma.
There is no physical body of a meditator sitting down and doing a self-enquiry meditation.
There is simply the knowledge of a body.
There is simply the knowledge of a self-enquiry meditation.
The story that weaves these two pieces of knowledge together says that there is a meditator meditating on a self-enquiry meditation.
In reality,
There is simply knowledge.
There is no waking world in which the meditator is doing a meditation.
There is simply the knowledge of a world.
Just like a few hours ago,
There was the knowledge of a dream character in a dream world and there was the knowledge of the deep sleep darkness,
The knowledge of absence of the waking and dream worlds.
All is knowledge.
All is simply knowledge.
When everything is simply knowledge,
Then what is the Atma?
Who is the Atma?
Where is the Atma?
Is it some kind of an entity?
Or is it simply mythology?
Is it some kind of universal energy?
Or is it simply an idea?
Is it reality?
Or is it an illusion?
When everything is simply knowledge,
Then what is the Atma?
Where is the Atma?
Who is the Atma?
Don't try to answer it intellectually.
Go beyond the intellect.
In fact,
Quit looking for an answer.
Simply be with the question.
What is the Atma?
Who is the Atma?
Where is the Atma?
Is it or is it not?
Quit seeking for the answer.
Simply be with the question.
Stop searching.
Stop looking.
Quit the hankering.
Simply be with the question.
Don't allow distractions to take you away from the question.
Who is the Atma?
What is the Atma?
Where is the Atma?
Is it or is it not?
Am I or am I not?
Don't look for an answer.
Simply be with the question.
What is the Atma?
Who is the Atma?
Where is the Atma?
Is it or is it not?
Is it or is it not?
Is it or is it not?
Is it or is it not?
The question itself is the answer.
Is it or is it not?
