Let's do a self-exploration meditation on how to get to a point where there is no duality to tranquilize.
You will need a full-length mirror for this self-exploration.
Sit in front of the mirror and close the eyes of the waker.
Taking the stand of the witnessing awareness field,
Allow the waker to disappear.
Recognize that you are the observation field devoid of a central observer.
Notice yourself leaning into the silence,
Expecting to hear the next wisdom words.
At the same time,
There is a part within you which is completely dispassionate and at a distance.
That which is leaning into the silence is saying a mental yes to becoming the false hearer of these words.
That which is naturally dispassionate is saying a mental no to becoming.
Honor that part within you which is naturally dispassionate.
Lean back,
Sink back,
Relax.
You will soon notice that there is no duality there to tranquilize.
Don't stop until you actually see.
Notice yourself.
A part of you is inclining towards the sound of these words with an expectation to understand the next step.
Yet another part within is unconcerned.
Look naturally at a distance.
It does not need to go towards the words.
It allows the words to come to it.
Abide as that.
Quit pretending to be the central observer.
Quit pretending that these words are the observed.
Indulging in the duality of the hearer and the heard is acceptance of imagination.
Reject the imagination.
Convert the mental yes to a mental no.
Simply by recognizing that part of you that has not moved.
That part of you knows there is no duality of the hearer and the heard.
That part of you doesn't even need to cancel the yes.
It does not even need to deny the person itself.
That peaceful,
Equanimous,
Dispassionate core does not even need to tranquilize any samkharas.
That is your true nature that does not even require a mental deletion of the attention given to the perception of sound.
It knows that any feeling is a mere imagination.
Even if it is the feeling of hugging your own parent.
Remember the last time you got lost in this imagination of experiencing a pleasant feeling on hugging the parent.
Recognize that part within you that does not feel that it is a daughter or a son.
Recognize that part within you that does not consider the other to be a parent.
That dispassionate core within you does not see the duality of a parent and a child.
Quit pretending to be the feeler of the feeling.
Quit pretending that that hug of the parent is a pleasant feeling that is known.
The dispassionate core within you says to you that there is no duality of feeler and the felt.
The moment you say yes to that imagination,
You move away from the reality.
Sink back into the core.
The core is there.
It need not be generated or manufactured.
You don't even have to deny the personal self because the personal self is not.
The dispassionate core within requires no mental deletion of attention given to the feeling,
Whether pleasant or unpleasant.
The dispassionate core does not need to tranquilize any impressions of duality.
Because there are none.
The dream tiger never was and never will be.
Let's attempt to bring this direct seeing into open-eyed daily routine.
Allow the eyes of the waker to open and look at the reflection in the mirror.
Notice,
Is there that leaning in again?
Are you able to stay at that dispassionate core and remind yourself that you are not the body that is reflected in the mirror?
Are you able to remind yourself that you are the peripheral observation field in which the room with the mirror and its reflection has just arisen?
Notice the body arising also appeared soon after.
If you remain at the dispassionate core,
You will not even have to convert a mental yes to a mental no.
Are you at that dispassionate core yet?
If yes,
Don't leave your stance of being the peripheral observation field.
Pretend not to be the seer.
Pretend not to be the seen.
Indulge not in the duality of the seer and the seen.
Simply stay as that dispassionate core that you truly are.
That which is always surprised when it first sees this reflection.
That which naturally denies the imaginary personal self.
That which does not even need to mentally delete the attention given to the body sensation or the body sight.
You don't even need to tranquilize any impressions of the past.
Simply be what you inherently are.
The natural dispassionate core.
The natural dispassionate core.
The natural dispassionate core.
Allow the eyes of the waker to close.
Withdraw within.
Back to that dispassionate core.
Abide as that which naturally denies the idea of being the body or having a body.
Abide as that dispassionate core which naturally denies the idea of being the mind or having a mind.
Abide there in silent Samadhi.
Until you get to the point where you see no duality.
Nothing to tranquilize.
No need to convert a mental yes to a mental no.
Nothing to dismiss.
Nothing to wipe away even.
Sit in silent Samadhi till you get to the point where there is no duality.
Vairagya leads to Advaitam.
Dispassion begets non-duality.
There can be no relationship between the reality and imagination.
There can be no connection between the reality and the mind.
And imagination.
There is no bridge to cross from imagination to reality.
There is nowhere to go.
Nothing to do.
Simply be.
Simply be.
