Hi friend,
It's normal to feel dysregulated from time to time.
I feel it too.
The practice is in how you return again and again and again.
It's normal to stray away from the present moment.
It's normal to feel waves of anxiety and overwhelm that throw you off your center.
So this practice here is for you to come back.
Regulate your nervous system.
Be a little bit more grounded and calm.
And return back to your true nature.
A more steady state.
Join me here.
With your eyes closed,
If that feels right.
Before we begin,
Simply drop into your heart.
And just acknowledge the fact that you.
Don't feel like you right now.
And that's okay.
Giving yourself this.
Full acceptance.
Meeting yourself exactly as you are.
The problem isn't how you're feeling.
The problem is how you're reacting to how you're feeling.
Right here,
Cultivate compassion.
As you breathe in.
And breathe out.
It is safe.
To be you.
It is safe to let go.
What you are feeling will not last forever.
You can feel good again.
Breath in.
Exhale.
Surrendering into this feeling.
Allowing Feel your self-judgment fade.
You're only human.
Can you start to feel your mind slow down?
As you settle and soften into your heart.
Into your body.
Inhale.
.
.
Exhale.
It feels right to you,
Placing a hand or two over your heart.
Grounding into your heart.
You are okay.
Even if you don't feel okay.
You are safe.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
It feels right to you finding a little sway.
As you hold your heart,
Keep swaying gently.
As if you're rocking yourself.
I invite you to experience a breath pattern where we inhale.
And then exhale,
Make us.
.
.
Sound continuing to hold your heart if that feels right continuing to find a sway,
If that feels right.
And take a breath in.
Exhale.
Feeling everything soften.
Allow this peace and calm to wash over you.
Breath in.
Exhale.
To feel a little bit lighter,
Maybe.
Inhale deeply in.
Exhale.
Breath in.
Exhale.
Maybe just one more if that serves you,
Opening your heart.
Maybe finding stillness now.
Allowing the hands to rest in your lap,
Palms open.
Notice what you notice.
Recognizing that you have the power.
To calm yourself from within.
It doesn't always have to come from outside of you.
You are a safe place to land.
Let go a little more.
Let yourself be a little more here.
In breath out breath.
There you are.
Just feeling into that part of you that is steady.
A little more like you right now.
Even if it's subtle.
Take a moment to be proud of yourself for choosing to turn toward yourself versus run away.
Whispering to yourself,
I love you.
I am not going anywhere.
Feel into the gift it is to stand by your side.
And to return again and again to a more calm,
Grounded state.
Be gentle with yourself.
Be extra compassionate.
Remember,
All feelings are just visiting like a wave.
They rise.
They exist.
And then they change.
All you need to do is ride the wave.
And stay steady.
With your breath,
Your heart.
One more deep breath in.
Let it go.
Bringing awareness back into your body.
Slowly blinking your eyes open if they were closed.
From my heart to yours.
