Welcome to this moment.
Allow yourself to really settle and arrive here.
Maybe gently close your eyes.
Encourage your breath to deepen right away.
Inhale through your nose.
Big sigh out your mouth.
Landing here gently.
Feeling this wave of ease and calm wash over your body.
Sinking deeper into whatever's holding you.
Releasing any muscular energy.
Let everything be soft.
Allow your mind to really drift away from everything that's happened today and everything that's on its way.
Just be here.
What a gift it is to be here.
You woke up today.
You are alive.
Breathe in that fresh air around you.
Exhale any stagnant energy.
Simply soften here.
With every breath you take,
Feel your gratitude start to grow.
This practice doesn't have to be complicated.
It can be very simple.
Remembering that everything is sacred.
Feel your heart open to the truth that you are worthy of all the good in your life.
How incredible it is that you are here.
How incredible it is that every single thing in your life is for you.
Even if you're not exactly where you want to be,
There's thanks to be given.
There's gratitude to be felt.
It's really simple.
You are here.
You have everything you need.
You are loved.
We can even say thank you to all the detours and the setbacks and the dead ends.
Trusting that it's all unfolding as it should.
We can say thank you to the people that trigger us.
They teach us contrast and duality.
We can say thank you to the not so great times,
The darkness,
Because it helps us really appreciate the light.
When things are good.
When things are beautiful.
Gratitude for it all.
Feeling this sense of awe for all the simple things.
All the little things.
I'm curious,
My friend,
Are you paying attention?
Do you see all that is for you?
Everything that's in your favor?
Gratitude asks you to pay attention.
To notice.
Full breath in.
Full exhale.
Jamie Varone writes,
It's the simplest things,
The rituals you keep,
The way you speak to yourself,
How you react to the unexpected that determines your quality of life.
It's not how impressive you can make your life seem to others.
It's the way you can extract lessons and growth from even the most challenging situations.
It's not how many friends you have,
But how many friends you actually connect with,
Who see the truth of you.
The simplest things can often be the hardest in a world that has told us simplicity isn't enough.
Your joy is found in true,
Grounded gratitude.
It's found in respecting,
Showing up for,
And being honest with yourself.
It's found in listening to your emotions instead of busying yourself out of them.
It's found in listening to your emotions instead of busying your way out of them.
We think we have to earn our well-being,
But it's always available to us.
My friend,
Don't make the mistake.
Don't mistake the world's definition of a good life for your own,
For the simplicity of what truly matters to you.
The world will have you chasing what doesn't matter.
When you can access joy in the simplicity of life,
Everything becomes more magical.
Feel this grounded gratitude here.
It's simple.
Let it be easy to feel this lightness,
The gift of gratitude,
Simply in awe that you are here.
And may you pay attention to what's beautiful and let your life surprise you.
A practice I love to bring into my day is simply naming when I feel grateful.
When I'm in a moment,
I know I want to remember forever.
Saying out loud,
This is a happy moment.
I'm so grateful.
This is a happy moment.
I'm so grateful.
May you carry this with you today and every day.
Breath in.
Let it go.
Notice how you feel now.
How your heart is now.
Notice your awareness.
Really feel the energy of gratitude flowing within you.
What a gift it is to be you in this moment.
Thank your body for holding you.
Thank your body for supporting you,
For allowing you to be here.
What a gift it is to have your heart,
Your lungs,
Your mind,
Your body.
Let it go.
Whispering thank you.
Thank you.
Slowly awaken back into the space around you.
Maybe gently rolling your shoulders.
Finding some intuitive movement.
Take it slow.
Eventually blinking your eyes open if they were closed.
Maybe find a big smile.
It is simply amazing that you are here.
That we get to breathe together.
May you continue to be in awe and focus on the simplicity of life.
One more breath in.
Release.
From my heart to yours.
