Hi my friend.
Allow yourself to arrive here exactly as you are.
Letting yourself fully be closing your eyes gently if that would feel safe to you.
Give yourself a deep breath in Big exhale.
Allow every muscle in your body to soften dropping into your heart.
Feel your awareness slowly trickle down from your mind.
Into your heart.
Really seeing any tension or any places in your body where you are holding gripping Let yourself be soft and relaxed.
It feels right to you,
Begin to visualize a beautiful river maybe a bright blue river.
Maybe there are mountains around,
Trees cool lush grass that you can sit in.
Imagine you are sitting right by the river.
You are quickly calmed by the hum of the river.
The rhythm of the river creates a white noise.
That allows all your thoughts to slowly float away.
You Everything from your day gently drifts away.
You are carried away by the river.
By its music.
Feel it soothe your nervous system.
Breath in.
Exhale,
Howl.
As you sit steady right beside the river,
Imagine leaves floating down you get to choose what thoughts are not serving you gently imagine placing a thought or two on a leaf and watch it flow far far away from you Maybe it's a thought that continues to repeat in your mind.
Take that thought,
Place it on the floating leaf and set it free Feel the weight lifted from you as you release all the thoughts.
That are not true.
That are not for your greatest good.
That aren't your own voice.
Placing your thoughts one by one onto the leaves in the stream.
And let it all go.
Breath in.
Exhale.
Just allow yourself to linger here what a gift it is to let nature heal us,
Help us and soothe our soul.
Keep letting go here my friend,
One thought at a time And may you remember,
Do not believe everything you think.
You are not your thoughts.
You are the one that is aware Notice how you feel now.
Maybe continuing to visualize yourself by the river.
Out in nature,
Calm,
Grounded a little bit lighter.
Thank yourself for choosing to turn toward your thoughts and set them free.
Breath in.
.
.
Breath out.
Really feel into the shift Noticing the shift within you Maybe it's subtle finding intuitive,
Slow,
Gentle movement in the body maybe rolling the shoulders if you haven't already,
Let the visualization of the river go.
Maybe blink your eyes open if they were closed and gently look around Reorienting yourself in your space I hope you feel a little bit more like you you continue to challenge all the thoughts that come and go And may you know that you can come back to this practice as many times as you need.
Set your mind free from my heart to yours.
