Welcome to this short practice for resetting your boundaries.
Now,
This is something I love to do when I've just left a more difficult situation or when I know I'm about to enter a situation where I might feel a little shaky.
By the end of this practice,
You should feel more solid in all that is real and true and authentic in you.
Let's begin by rooting into our seat,
Feeling the way our bones stack on top of each other,
Feeling the way the body meets the earth body,
And we'll begin to foster a connection with the earth by drawing up a root from the center of the earth and feeling it reach your root,
Your seat,
And then widen to the width of your body and then starting a deeper and slower breath as we connect with the earth body.
The earth is always supporting us.
It is the ultimate solid and stable force in our lives.
We can begin by releasing all that is not us to the earth with a couple of out breaths,
Feeling the way more spaciousness is available now in your body,
In your system,
As you breathe and release all that is not you and then just let yourself stretch out and take up this space.
Let your energy,
All that is true,
All that is you,
Begin to comfortably claim this space that we freed up and as you do so,
Whether it be through breath or through intention,
My favorite way is actually to use my hands and kind of push gently outwards like I'm feeling out my space,
Like I'm letting my energy stretch out and reclaim.
Begin to sense where in you feels a little less stable,
Where in you needs that support and then turn to the earth and ask her to shore you up in those places,
Drawing up that earth energy and feeling and sending it to all those places that you need more reinforcement,
Enjoying this new sense of strength,
Authenticity and groundedness in all that is you,
Feeling into your body,
The space around you and saying to yourself,
This is who I am.
