Jai Ma.
Good morning.
Find a steady seat for your morning meditation.
Begin to settle in and feel the earth beneath you and your spine reaching tall towards the sky.
Invite in the courage to be real,
To be genuine,
To be unafraid and open,
Ready to greet this day as you truly are.
Let your breath carry the wish to serve,
To move through the world with a heart that is both strong and tender.
May you dare to be great today.
Let your barriers fall away,
Dissolving the distance between your heart and the hearts around you.
Ask yourself,
Where in life are you standing at the edge?
Toes curled on a diving board,
Longing to take the leap but holding back.
What would it mean to trust the unknown,
To have faith,
To jump in arms and heart wide open?
Practice entering your blue sky mind and see your thoughts for what they are,
Just thoughts like clouds passing by.
Awaken your daring nature by letting go of selfishness.
Notice the places where hesitation holds you and gently release them.
There is discipline in gentleness,
A quiet strength in being honest and kind.
Let go of all laziness.
Instead,
Let your curiosity and purpose fly like an arrow guided by the bow of skillful action.
Ride the horse of your mind with steady hands on the reins.
Keep the reins soft,
Yet firm,
Directing,
Not forcing.
Let each breath help you release doubt,
Hesitation,
Embarrassment.
Feel the wind horse stirring within as vitality,
Courage,
Delight.
Let each breeze today gently awaken your secret prayers of well-wishing for others and the earth.
May you love everyone today.
May you remember God.
Sit for a few moments,
Breathing in golden light,
And exhale,
Send metta,
Loving kindness,
Well wishes to all beings.
When thoughts arise,
Let the gentle wind of your breath release them,
And continue to send loving kindness out to all beings.
Rejoice in the joy of your life.
Remember to empower others today and serve those you meet.
Lift them up.
Have a secret wish of goodness for them.
See the secret divinity in all beings.
As Ram Dass would always say,
Treat everyone you meet as God in drag.
Recognize the divine essence within everyone,
Regardless of their outward appearance,
Or behavior,
Or the space suit they may be wearing.
Sit here for a few moments,
Breathing in golden light,
And exhaling loving kindness to all beings.
Bhurahina tanujanike,
Sumerom pavana kumara,
Palabudhi vidya dehumohi,
Harahukalesa vikar,
Siya,
Vararamma chandra,
Parijay saranam.
Having polished the mirror of my heart with the dust of my guru's lotus feet,
I sing the pure fame of the best of raghus,
Which bestows the four fruits of life.
I know I have no intelligence,
So I recall the sun of the wind.
Please give me strength,
Intelligence,
And wisdom,
And remove my suffering and impurities.
Hail to the refuge of the feet of Sita's husband,
Ramachandra.
