Find a quiet place for your meditation.
Then find a comfortable and steady seat.
You may choose to sit on the floor or ground or in a chair.
Whatever seat you choose,
Begin to relate to the earth by rooting down through the sitz bones as the spine grows tall.
Feel there is stability and ease in your being.
Each seat establishes a mutually beneficial relationship with the earth.
As you root down,
You give energy to the earth and the earth holds your body steady and encourages energy to rise up.
The earth uplifts you.
Become aware of your breath.
Begin to inhale and exhale through your nose.
Breathing in golden light,
Energy,
Nourishment.
Exhale press this light deep into your body and into all the cells and out the pores of your skin.
You are establishing a relationship with your breath,
Receiving and giving.
You are becoming this light and merging with this energy.
You are filling yourself up with nourishment.
When we are nourished,
When we have what we truly need,
Then we can be generous.
Then there is an opportunity to feel gratitude in our being for what we have.
Bringing your palms together in a gentle prayer in front of your heart.
Inhale golden light.

Exhale with gratitude for your life.

With every inhale of this golden light,
Internally say thank you.
And with every exhale,
Internally say I love you.
This simple mantra of thank you,
I love you awakens gratitude and presence.
Through slowing down and being with our breath,
We begin to acknowledge the abundance in our lives.
Just sitting where you are right now and breathing,
Recognize what you have,
The clothes on your body to keep you warm.
The food available to you anytime you are hungry.
A warm place to live,
A home.
How did you get here?
Begin to recognize the beings in your life who have supported you,
Who continue to support you and your life.
Breathe in golden light with gratitude for them.
Thank you.
And exhale,
Send some of your energy out from your heart to them.
I love you.
Allow names and faces to enter your mind and heart.
Inhale thank you for these beings in your life.
Exhale I love you as you extend gratitude and golden light out to them.
As you breathe this way,
You're developing mutually beneficial relationships,
Strengthening interconnectivity and heightening awareness of the blessings and abundance in your life.
The love,
The support,
The friendships,
Even the challenges.
Challenges are blessings as they encourage growth.
They provide us with opportunities to practice compassion,
To rise above our lower nature,
Above fear,
Above selfishness,
To be kind,
Compassionate,
And generous.

Human and animal.
Invite all of nature into your heart,
