An energy practice with the Earth Elementals which support grounding and stillness, especially in cases of stress and anxiety. The energy of the Earth provides a solid foundation and helps us to know that we are never alone. The base chakra directly plugs into and resonates at the same frequency as the Earth, as such we can work through this portal to bring about balance to this energy centre and into our lives as a whole.

Transcript

When you're comfortable,

Just starting to close down your eyes.

Taking that opportunity to turn inwards.

And just to feel yourself in your seat.

Noticing your feet on the floor.

Your legs relaxed down.

Your sit bones connected to your seat.

Your arms resting down.

Your head gently resting,

And some evenly on your shoulders,

Not too much pressure on your neck.

And as you ground down through your sit bones,

You maybe lengthen up a little bit more through the crown,

Creating a little bit more space through the vertebra.

And a little bit more space for that breath as well.

And as you connect now into your breath,

That breath of life.

Just feeling that in-breath and the qualities of that in-breath this time.

Maybe slowing it down a bit if you can.

Allowing yourself to come fully into the moment.

Be fully present.

Right here,

Right now.

The next half an hour,

Nothing else really matters.

Simply going to be here with that breath.

With your next in-breath,

Breathing in and down.

And just bringing your awareness down into the base,

Into the base of your spine,

The base chakra area.

An energetic space that sits right at the base.

And just breathing in and out through that space.

You might visualise the energy starting to move through that space.

As you breathe in through the front and out through the back.

And breathing back in through the back and out through the front.

And just breathing in through the back and out through the front.

As you continue to move that energy,

You might visualise a spinning vortex right through the centre of that space.

It doesn't matter which way it spins.

Starting to spin that energy,

Helping it move,

Move that energy through,

Allowing that flow,

Helping to block any resistances.

And during the process,

Just being aware of anything at all that comes through.

And without analysis,

Just parking it to the side in your awareness.

Being that witness as the energy moves through this space,

Things are likely to come to the surface if we allow.

You continue to spin that vortex of energy through that base.

You might start to visualise the colour red.

That colour red has that same vibrational frequency as the energy of the base.

So we can use that colour to help to bring back into balance any discordance,

Any stagnation or stuckness,

Help to amplify any insufficiencies,

Any disconnection may have been placed there for whatever reason.

Base chakra is all about our connection into this time space,

Our connection within the tribe.

Do we feel a part of something bigger than ourselves?

Do we feel a part of something bigger than ourselves?

Do we feel a part of a family or a community?

Do we feel more separate?

As you continue with that gentle,

Steady breath,

You start to see that colour red becoming clearer and brighter.

Do you notice any other colours or anything?

Just observing.

Nothing's wrong,

Everything.

You're sending us information.

And then you start to see that red starting to spread now as it becomes brighter and more vibrant,

Visualising that red and allowing it to move all the way through the base.

Down your legs as well.

As it moves down,

It anchors us into this time space.

Do our legs feel steady and stable,

Enough to support us?

Visualising that right red now,

Crystalline energy moving down into the feet,

And into the earth,

Creating that energy to move us into the earth.

Into the earth,

Creating that physical connection.

The base chakra is also all about our physicality.

So all of the solid structures within our body are related to this earth energy as well.

The spine,

Our physical support,

Is all related to this base energy.

Our bones,

Our muscles.

Continuing to breathe that red energy all the way through that whole base area.

And also visualise the energy anchoring down through the base of your spine and through your feet,

Down into the earth.

So the element of earth is the element of the base.

Start to bring in that earth energy also help to activate,

To realign and transform any disharmony in this space.

You might visualise the roots,

Tree roots,

Dropping down from the base of your spine,

Down into the earth,

Really feeling that anchoring,

Going down deep,

Or observing what your root system is like.

Are there a few big solid strong roots?

Or are they thinner and many?

Maybe it's a little challenging to be able to anchor into the earth and this is okay.

Just observing bearing witness to the process,

To allow those insights,

To move from that subconscious into our conscious awareness where the transformation happens.

Just really breathing down into those roots,

Now feeling yourself fully connected down into the earth,

And feeling that sense of being,

And feeling that sense of being,

Fully connected down into the earth.

And in the next breath,

Dropping your awareness down,

Down through your roots,

Become your roots down in the earth,

Noticing how that feels,

Feeling that energy of the earth holding you,

Nurturing you,

Feeling that support all around you,

Being open to whatever else you notice,

Or any other awareness that may have been coming through.

Even memories sometimes can come up,

Random memories,

Nothing is random.

Just continuing to breathe that deep,

Gentle,

Steady breath,

Anchoring down into the earth,

Feeling that nourishing,

Nurturing energy of the earth,

Feeling that stability and support,

And allowing yourself to be held,

To be held by the earth.

There is no need for the struggle,

There is no need to do everything for oneself.

Even if just for a moment for now,

Allow that earth to support you,

Fully surrender into that support,

Into that stability,

And into that great strength that is the earth.

What other qualities might you notice about the earth,

And how that feels for you?

Be open to any impressions at all,

Even if you don't understand for now,

May become clearer later,

No need to try and understand right now,

Staying in the process,

Connected to that beautiful earth energy,

Connecting through the base,

Our anchor.

You might also notice its stillness,

This great stillness,

It also supports us to come to our center,

Take all of the busyness,

The overthinking out of mind,

And anchoring it down into the earth.

We only need to connect into its energy,

Feeling the earth,

There's a downward drawing motion,

A pana energy,

That which calms and settles and brings to stillness.

If you can,

Really bringing yourself into that space,

That great stillness of the earth,

And allow yourself to just be here right now,

With the earth,

Fully present.

Again,

Just being with those tree roots,

Your tree roots,

With that stillness and support,

It is always there for us,

We need only remember,

And take a moment to connect,

Ground our energy,

Coming to the present.

Now keeping that connection down into the earth,

And start to draw up some of that energy,

Drawing up that energy of the earth,

Up through the feet,

The legs,

The base of the spine,

Bringing in that element more strongly into the base,

Into your base chakra space,

Allowing that energy of that earth,

To become more potent in this area.

And as you breathe once more in and out through that space,

Breathing that earth energy that we were just connected into,

Feeling it gather and become stronger and more stable,

Within your base.
