Embodying The Elements Journey
For this journey, we move through the energetics of the elements Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. Open to how they can each be used in our own healing in different ways and at different times. These potent energies are easy and simple to use once we align with their qualities and consciously embody their frequencies when needed. Nature has many simple tools we can use to come back into balance whenever we are challenged. When we take time to reflect we can allow ourselves to grow and evolve.

So when you're ready,
Closing down your eyes.
Just turning inwards and taking that opportunity to notice yourself right here,
Right now.
Notice where you're seated.
Feeling yourself inside your body.
Breathing nice and gently and deeply.
If you can,
Starting to slow down that breath and lengthen it out.
Just peeling into that sensation of space,
That expansion.
With each in-breath,
The gift of the in-breath,
We can create space in the mind,
Space in the body,
And we can create space in the mind,
Space in the body.
And space to connect to our spirit.
We're going to start off with that three-part yogic breath this morning,
So it can help reimagine a glass of water.
So as we start the in-breath,
We feel from the bottom of the lungs,
The air,
The air,
The air,
The in-breath we feel from the bottom of the lungs,
And then the middle,
So the side bodies,
And then up to the top,
As if you're filling up the glass of water.
And then as you breathe out,
As if you're emptying the glass of water,
So down from the top of the sides,
And then emptying the very bottom at the end.
So as you breathe in,
Starting from the bottom of the lungs,
And then the middle and the sides,
And then the top.
And then as you breathe out from the top through the sides,
And then emptying the bottom.
We're just gonna do that breath for a few rounds,
Hoping to bring us even more into the present,
Letting go of whatever's been happening in the mind,
Leading up to this point.
It's taking the time now to unplug from everything around,
Now physical reality.
And taking that time to move into our expansion,
Expanding to be more of a vibrational match to that of our spirit.
It always exists within.
However,
When we're too overburdened,
We're too much of a figure of needing a house,
We're too much of a creature,
And we can't live up to that privilege.
We may have been considered to be constricted through our light whether yourOhm or your this or that.
However,
When we're too over busy and constricted,
Very difficult to align.
Continuing to breathe that spaciousness and that openness.
Helping that feeling to move all the way through your layers.
Expanding and opening with each in-breath.
And then with that out-breath,
Releasing the edges of that.
So that there's room for more expansion with that next in-breath.
We're going to go on a journey now into the wonderful world of nature.
The gifts of our great mother,
Gaya Sofia.
I'd like you to imagine you're walking on a path.
You come to a gate and it's slightly ajar.
So you push the gate open and step through.
And you'll start to walk along the path,
Walking through this beautiful garden.
So many different types of plants,
Trees,
All abundant.
Flowers,
Fruits.
So many colours.
On a perfect day.
You continue to walk along the path.
You notice a really big tree.
It's drawing you over.
As you step out onto the grass and make your way over to this tree.
You notice its luminescence.
You're aware of the great energy of the tree beings.
You walk up over to the tree.
You sit down and lean up against it with your back onto the tree.
You feel the potency of its energy it's wanting to share with you.
And as you connect in,
You become that tree.
And what that feels like to be that tree.
Its roots way down into the earth.
Its leaves and branches way high up into the sky.
And its great trunk.
Like our torso.
Its the connection of in between.
And as you take your awareness back down into the roots.
You become the roots of the tree.
Feeling what that feels like.
Have your roots deep down into the earth.
Feeling that energy of the earth elements.
The earth elementals.
Notice what qualities you feel of the earth elements.
Feeling how that feels.
As we feel and allow the embodiment,
It helps us to better be able to connect with those elements within us.
And also around us too.
Feeling what else you notice.
Being deep within the earth.
Space of nourishment.
Stability.
Also stillness.
Feeling its expanse.
And its support.
As you continue with your gentle steady breath.
Taking your awareness now back up into the tree and into the branches.
Feeling how that feels as you become the branches.
Notice the difference in the energy.
Being way up in the sky now.
Moving gently in the breeze.
Feeling how this feels.
And those qualities.
Up in the air.
You notice a bird land on one of your branches.
And as you do,
You merge with the energy of the bird and the bird takes flight.
Soaring up over that beautiful park.
Flying up and down.
This is the energy of the air.
The birds are the animal totems of the air elementals.
Silfs air elementals fly in the slipstream of the birds creating that motion.
Creating their harmony when they fly in groups.
Feeling what that feels like.
That expanse that is the air.
Being able to see that view from above.
That bigger picture.
As you notice that whole park now from up above.
That outer perspective.
That openness.
It's all that,
All the air.
When we feel we need to embody the different qualities of the elements.
We can move into these feelings,
Into these spaces.
To allow more of that element in any moment.
As you continue to fly up over the park,
You notice a stream.
Beautiful calm crystal clear stream moving through the side of the park.
Fly down for a closer look.
You notice a fish.
Swimming along merrily in that gentle flowing stream.
And as you do,
You merge with the fish.
And you become the fish.
Now moving gracefully with that flow of the waters.
And noticing how that feels.
And how that feels different to the other two elements.
Now being with the water.
Flow and movement.
How it always creates balance.
No matter which way we move in the water.
Water always comes back into balance.
Always takes the path of least resistance to.
Allowing that smoothness.
And that receptivity.
Seeing what else you notice being in the water.
Knowing you're safe in this space.
And then as you're merrily swimming in your stream,
You notice these beautiful flowers.
And as you look up out of the water growing really close to the bank.
As you move up to take a closer look,
You notice a butterfly.
As you notice the butterfly,
You merge and become the butterfly.
Popping along merrily through those beautiful flowers.
And noticing how that feels.
What it's like from that butterfly's perspective.
Visually dancing from flower to flower.
In awe of what lies before.
Merrily fluttering through the beautiful scents.
Merrily fluffy pollens.
Brightly coloured soft petals.
Dancing from here to there to here to there.
Yelling into that energy.
And the bees are animal totems of the fire element.
Moving and dancing.
Doing.
Feeling that fluttering,
That movement.
Flittering.
And then noticing how that feels.
Energising.
This is the energy of the fire elements.
Doing what they do.
Their service.
Help to pollinate the flowers as they move.
As you're dancing through those beautiful flowers.
You notice a person sitting over by a grand old tree.
And as you do,
You merge back with that person.
Leaning against the tree.
You notice that it's you.
Just taking a moment to feel back into your being,
Back into your body.
And keying this beautiful park for your journey.
As you hop up from the seat.
Under the tree.
Thank that beautiful tree as well for holding you.
And you start to walk back out of the park.
Taking in more of its beauty.
Back along the path.
To that gate where you started.
You notice that there's a word.
On that gate now.
What word is there for you?
Breathe in that word.
You step back through the gate.
Posing it behind you.
Take a few more steps back into the chair where you're seated in your space.
Taking that word.
If you have a few,
Just take the first one.
That word and bringing that word into your heart space.
Feeling how it feels.
How does that word feel to you?
Now allowing that feeling of the word or the word itself whichever way is perfect.
Allowing that to move through your whole being.
How that word feels.
Find a word.
Find a word.
Anything that describes how you're feeling right now.
In that heart space.
Allowing that energy of that word.
To move and grow.
Move through all of your energy layers and intensify.
Living with that word.
I'm going to leave you now to bathe in the resonance of that word.
Have a beautiful rest of your day or night.

Such a wonderful meditation. I’ve been struggling for weeks to get into a deep meditation, this did it. I felt so relaxed and at ease when it was over. Thank you.
