Hi,
This is Beth with Divine Me Time here with your Alignment for March 2026.
Our topic today is The True Source of Wealth.
Please be sure to follow my profile here on Insight Timer.
And I love reading your comments,
So be sure to leave a review.
There's a deep current of abundance within us that either runs freely or is obstructed by our thoughts about wealth,
Money,
And finance.
How we recognize and relate to this conscious force is this month's alignment.
Have you noticed that no matter how much some people have,
It never seems to be enough?
Or how others always seem to struggle with money?
Which side of that continuum do you most relate to?
Most people think of prosperity as something out there.
It's a reward you earn,
A resource you chase,
Or a sign of material success.
But the deeper truth is that abundance is a movement of energy.
It's not separate from consciousness,
Which means it's not separate from you.
It's shaped by our inner state long before it becomes tangible in our outer world.
When our relationship with self is rooted in fear,
We either cling too tightly to things,
Money,
Jobs,
People,
Or push them away entirely.
But when we relate to ourselves as the flow and expression of the divine,
We stop taking things personally,
And simply allow the natural coming and going,
Trusting that what comes will come again in another form,
And knowing that what comes must one day go.
What we have or don't have stops being a sign of our worth.
We're not meant to grasp at abundance through tension or fear.
We're meant to open to the current of the larger intelligence moving through us.
Prosperity is not granted through strain.
It arises naturally when our consciousness becomes a clear channel.
In my prosperity healing journey,
I came across a book of wisdom that completely elevated my money mindset.
Specifically,
One chapter of it.
The book is The Mother by Sri Aurobindo,
An Indian saint and contemporary of Gandhi.
I highly recommend the reading of at least chapter 4 if you ever get the opportunity.
But if it isn't your thing,
Allow me to share some of the most important and relevant takeaways that reveal that while money is a material necessity,
It is so much more than we realize.
It is a visible sign of a misunderstood universal force that is asking to be purified,
Surrendered,
And used rightly.
Most importantly,
If spiritual seekers shun money completely because it isn't spiritual to talk about or to want money,
That power remains in the hands of those forces who remain ignorant or abusive of its power.
We can see this in the imbalance in the world where the 1% owns 75% of all wealth.
That's why we must reclaim it for the divine instead,
As a trustee,
Not as a personal possessor.
Here are a few points from The Mother.
Money is more than a tool.
It is an aspect of divine flow that demands a pure intention and an openness to serve.
Whether you have a little or a lot in the material sense,
How you handle it is what determines your sense of worth and fulfillment.
Anxiety about money can stagnate the flow or push abundance away.
Don't be afraid to use what you have,
Or of times when it seems as though you don't have what you need.
Instead,
Know who you are.
Use money for purpose,
Not for consumption.
If you treat money as a means to serve a higher aim—teaching,
Healing,
Beauty,
Truth—you're aligning with the work of the divine and with the prosperity principle.
Trust in your inner alignment to provide.
If your work is sincere,
You open yourself to receive what is needed in ways you might not expect.
Your connection to the divine is what gives you access to the money force.
Resist both extremes—ascetic renunciation of money and greed.
Neither is the right path.
The right path is conscious use,
Guided by a dedication to serve.
And finally,
We own nothing,
And we can take nothing with us.
We are merely stewards of all that we have in this life.
What comes will one day be taken,
Or go,
And what goes must surely come again in another form.
To quote Sri Aurobindo,
The true attitude is complete confidence in the mother's force,
And a quiet,
Steady opening to receive it.
What we believe about prosperity—the ideas that we've ingested,
Either from our ancestors or from our culture,
Such as the fear of not having enough or fear of wanting too much— determines our relationship not just to money but to our very selves.
When we deprogram our thoughts around money,
We create space for an abundant intelligence to move through us.
So for our practice today,
We're going to be doing a little breath work.
I invite you to sit comfortably with your back supported.
Feel yourself connected to the floor,
The chair,
Whatever is supporting you.
Release tension to that support.
Let any thoughts,
Associations,
Images come into the mind as you consider,
Where do I tighten around the idea of money,
Either grasping or shrinking from it?
And what happens if I imagine prosperity as a flowing force,
Like a river or stream,
Rather than something I must control?
Now focus on your breath.
As you breathe,
Release any tension around the brow,
The eyes,
The jaw,
Relaxing the face,
Softening the mask.
Letting go of tension around the neck,
Shoulders.
Feeling that gentle pull of gravity.
Releasing any hardness around the heart or any holding in the belly.
And letting the feet soften and spread.
Now breathe in.
And when you exhale,
Say out loud,
I am my own treasure.
As you breathe in,
Imagine breathing in the purifying light,
Shine,
And quality of pure gold.
Repeat,
I am my own treasure,
On each inhalation.
With each exhalation,
Bless the world with your purity,
Your shine,
Your glimmer.
As you inhale,
Receive all that life offers you in every moment.
Breathing in,
I am my own treasure.
Breathing out,
I bless the world.
Breathing in,
I accept all that life has to offer.
Breathing out,
I am my own treasure.
Feel the coming and going,
The ease of the breath.
Imagine each of your cells like little coins of gold,
Sparkling in the sunlight.
I am my own treasure.
We're going to add a little movement with the hands.
So lift your arms to about shoulder height,
Maybe a little lower,
Whatever is comfortable.
As you breathe in,
Draw your hands towards your chest.
I am my own treasure.
And as you breathe out,
Let the arms drift away,
Palms up.
I bless the world.
Breathing in again,
Taking the palms in towards the heart,
I am my own treasure.
As you exhale,
Hands drifting out and opening,
I bless the world.
Repeat this in your own timing with your own breath in and out,
Feeling that gentle flow of coming and going.
Now allow the hands to relax and simply abide in this peacefulness,
This flow.
So I invite you again to repeat this practice,
To release outdated beliefs and old contractions and meet abundance as that steady,
Spacious and generous current of the divine force already within you.
That ends this alignment.
See you next month!
