Welcome to my Empowerment by Affirmation meditation.
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable seated position.
Choose any way that you like to sit.
Where the shoulders and the back and the spine can feel supported and can relax.
Begin to really settle into the body.
Bringing attention to the crown of the head.
Find some lift up through the crown of the head to feel more space,
More length in the spine.
Breathing deeply into the back body,
The front body,
The side body,
Rib cage and lungs expanding and contracting.
With every in breath,
With every out breath.
Noticing the sit bones connecting down into the mat,
Into your cushion,
Into the earth.
Feel safe in that sense of grounding,
Of gravity pulling you down,
Rooting you down.
Helping you completely arrive into the space,
Into the present moment.
As you take a deep inhale,
Send the breath up the spine all the way to the crown of the head.
And as you exhale,
Feel the breath travel down the spine to the belly,
To the hips.
Inhaling,
Sending the breath and the energy up.
Exhaling energy,
Light breath traveling down.
Feeling that cosmic lift as you inhale,
That gravitational pull down as you exhale.
Turn your awareness now to the tip of the nose.
Begin to notice the air,
Observing how it flows in and out of the nostrils.
And as you feel the air flowing in and out,
Allow thoughts to flow into the mind and then flow out.
Give yourself permission to observe the thoughts,
The emotions,
Any sensations in the body without judgment that they're there.
Hold space for them.
Try not to attach,
Try not to hold on to any thought.
Allow each one to arise and then each one to pass.
Feeling safe,
Calm,
And supported by the earth beneath you.
Now bringing in our affirmations,
Linking the words with our breath,
With every inhalation,
Silently saying the words,
I am,
With every exhalation saying enough.
As you inhale,
Silently saying,
I am,
With every exhale saying strong.
Linking the words,
I am,
With every exhale silently saying enough.
Inhaling,
I am.
Exhaling exactly what I need.
Slightly saying,
I am.
Exhale empowered.
Inhaling,
I am.
Exhaling enough.
Linking the words or any other words of affirmation to yourself with every breath.
Feel the ripple effect throughout the entire body.
Exhaling,
I am.
Exhaling,
I am.
Exhaling,
I am.
Exhaling,
I am.
Exhaling,
I am.
Begin to deepen the breath.
Flood the awareness through the entire body,
Connecting back to the space that you're in.
