Gathering Gratitude,
A meditation on thankfulness.
Begin in a serene position,
Close your eyes,
And let the outside world melt away,
Making space for a deeper inner journey.
As you breathe,
Imagine each inhale drawing in light,
Filling you with a sense of gratitude.
With each exhale,
Release any negativity.
I invite you to picture yourself in a mystical forest.
The trees here are ancient.
There are leaves shimmering with memories.
And beneath your feet,
Scattered orbs of light represent moments of gratitude.
Begin to gather these orbs.
Each orb you gather fills you with warmth and thankfulness.
Feel their weight as your basket and heart become fuller.
Pause occasionally to hold an orb close,
Allowing its glow to merge with you,
Deepening your sense of gratitude.
As you look around,
You see even more orbs appearing.
Pick each one,
Allowing it to continue to fill you with warmth and thankfulness.
Remember,
These orbs of light represent times and moments of gratitude.
Recall each one.
Hold them close,
Allowing it to illuminate you.
Now find a clearing and lay down your basket.
As you gaze upon these glowing orbs that you've gathered,
Absorb their combined energy,
Deepening your appreciation.
Let gratitude and appreciation continue to illuminate your radiant mind.
And now,
Place your hands on your heart and ground yourself with a few deep breaths,
Sealing in the deep thankfulness that you've collected.
Let your heart be full.
May your light shine.
Continue with your breath for a few more moments.
And now slowly follow the path out of the forest,
Making each step one of gratitude,
Of thankfulness,
Of appreciation.
And as you emerge from the forest,
The sun lights your face.
You feel its warmth.
Your heart is full of gratitude.
And now reawakening to the present moment,
Bringing this gratitude with you and into the rest of your day.
So as you're ready,
You can wiggle your fingers and toes and gently open your eyes,
Seeing the world through a lens of appreciation.
