Slumber Radio is a cozy, two-hour sleep program that recreates the feel of 1980s small-town radio — the kind many of us used to fall asleep to as kids. Back then, local radio stations were quiet companions through the night. But now, most of them have disappeared or been replaced by stressful news and syndicated networks. Slumber Radio is a love letter to the way it used to be.
Each of the four seasonal episodes is a fully scripted, immersive radio show set in the fictional mountain town of Low Beacon. Hosted by local radio personality Tyler Rowe (played by Brian Saint-Paul), the show blends community updates, gentle stories, quirky mock commercials, local history, and slow, relaxing music — all crafted to lull you to sleep. The tracks include soft instrumental lofi, classical pieces, ambient compositions, and warm vintage country, and the entire program is underlaid with subtle Delta binaural tones designed to promote deep rest.
Low Beacon’s world is rich with characters, locations. and lore, but the pacing is slow. Whether you're listening in bed, on the couch, or from the passenger seat of a car during a long ride at night, Slumber Radio is meant to ease you into rest.
Just press play, close your eyes, and let the little town of Low Beacon carry you to sleep.
Note: All the people, places, and businesses mentioned are fictitious, and all characters were created and voiced by Brian, Zoe, Selam, and Hymanot Saint-Paul. In places, we used software voice masking to allow us to play different characters.
Brian Saint-Paul has been teaching philosophy, religion, and spirituality in various formats since 1998. Through his company, DandyMind, he produces creative audio programs that merge Western philosophy with meditation. He uses lecture, thought experiments, and guided visualizations and meditations to help students not only learn the philosophical concepts, but actually get inside and experience them firsthand.
Zoe Saint-Paul is a journalist by day and voice actor whenever the opportunities arise. She’s also a certified life coach with a passion for health and wellness.
Selam and Hymanot Saint-Paul are twins, students, and equine managers. This is their first foray into voice acting....

This was a fun and different nightly experience. To be able to go on a sleep ride like I was travelling on a highway listening to the radio. Fun concept. Hopefully there will be more in the works.

I loved the concept of an old fashioned radio show, and even though I didn’t get a lot of it (I’m Australian 😀) I can appreciate the work that went into making each episode. And it did do the job of putting me to sleep!
