Welcome and thank you for trying this deep induction meditation.
In this session we'll be going through an extended opening induction stage to really calm and focus your mind and to move you deep inside yourself.
So if you've never experienced a meditation like this it can be quite profound.
We'll start with a five minute induction followed by 25 minutes of free meditation so that you can work on whatever you'd like to in that deep meditative state.
Let's begin by finding a stable position either seated or lying down and if you're seated make sure that your body is fully supported so that you can relax completely.
Make yourself comfortable and gently close your eyes.
Begin by taking some long deep breaths,
Slowly inhale and then slowly exhale and as you exhale let your body sink into your chair or your mat.
So let's begin by relaxing your eyes.
In a moment you're going to take a deep breath in all the way to the top of your head and then when you breathe out you're going to imagine that you're breathing warm relaxing numbing vapor out through your eyes and this will relax and calm your eye muscles very quickly.
So let's begin.
Take a deep breath in fill in your body all the way to the top of your head and breathe out.
Imagine yourself breathing out through your eyes.
Your breath washes away any tension around your eyes and your upper cheeks.
Breathe in and then out.
Imagine your warm breath washing around your eyeballs relaxing them and numbing all the muscles connected to them.
Breathe in and out and feel the vibrations of your breath massaging and relaxing your eye muscles.
Breathe in and then out.
Your breath is a warm and numbing vapor.
It relaxes whatever it touches.
One last time breathe in all the way to the top and then out.
Perfect.
Now I'm going to count down from 10 to 1 and with each number you'll sink deeper and deeper into yourself and then when I reach 1 you will be fully relaxed while your mind will be completely alert.
And now 10 you feel a wave of warmth washing over you running through your body from your head down to your chest.
The warmth moves down into your stomach and then down into your waist and then around your thighs and down your legs to your lower legs and then it runs out your feet.
9 as you become more and more relaxed you just let go of any lingering tension.
Let your body feel loose and at ease.
8 your mind is completely calm clear from all distractions and focused entirely on your relaxation.
7 the feeling of calm tranquility fills your chest and spreads out to the rest of your body.
6 you feel comfortable and safe completely alert.
5 feel yourself sinking down into your resting surface really sinking down into it.
4 you sink down down into yourself.
3 continuing to relax deeper and deeper.
2 your body is heavy sinking down into yourself.
1 you are now at the bottom of yourself.
You're in a state of complete and profound relaxation.
You feel peaceful and alert.
Your mind is clear and completely relaxed.
Now take the next 25 minutes for free meditation and I'll check in with you halfway through.

As our time comes to an end let's get ready to return to the waking world and when we do you will feel alert and refreshed and you will remember any insights that came to you in this meditation time.
5 you're coming back to the room back to your body.
4 you're becoming aware of your fingers and your toes and the feelings in your fingers and your toes.
3 you can feel the air now from the room on your skin.
It feels cold on your skin.
2 you feel cool water running down the top of your head through your hairline down the back of your neck.
And 1 you feel awake and refreshed and completely alert.
