Hello,
I'm Diana and I want to welcome you to this meditation,
When you feel ready to open again.
I want to invite you to find a quiet spot,
Where you can be undisturbed for a little while.
Where you can set your phone or device down,
Pop your earphones in and get comfortable.
You might like to sit with your back supported and your feet flat on the floor.
Or maybe you'd rather put your feet up.
Go with whatever feels best to you.
If you'd rather lie down,
That's totally fine too.
Just try to choose a place where you don't usually sleep,
So that it's easier to stay awake throughout this meditation.
And make sure that you're warm enough.
Maybe grab a cozy blanket if you need one.
And then,
Just let yourself settle in and allow my voice to gently guide you.
Close your eyes softly,
When you feel ready.
And let's begin to drop into the moment.
Notice how your body feels.
Become aware of any thoughts floating around.
And gently,
Bring your attention to your breath.
There's no need to change anything.
Just notice your breathing.
Feel the cool air coming in through your nose as you breathe in.
And the warm air leaving as you breathe out.
And again.
Inhale steady.
And exhale unhurried.
Feel your body as it is today.
You have known expansion.
You have known withdrawal.
And now,
Something feels different.
Not forced.
Not rushed.
Not tired.
But a quiet readiness.
Like the first green shoot pressing through the soil.
Like dawn light stretching across the horizon.
Opening again is delicate.
Bring your awareness to your heart space.
Notice it feels slightly more spacious than before.
Or perhaps cautiously curious.
There's no need to fling yourself wide open.
Opening is not performance.
It is permission.
Place one hand over your heart.
And the other over your lower belly.
Feel the steady rhythm beneath your palms.
Your body does not open because it was told to.
It opens because it feels safe.
Take a slow breath and imagine warmth gathering in your chest.
A soft golden light expanding just a little with each inhale.
Not overwhelming.
Just enough.
Ask yourself gently.
What feels safe to welcome back in?
Connection?
Creativity?
Conversation?
Or perhaps touch?
Notice what arises.
Opening again after a season of inwardness requires trust.
Trust that your boundaries are clearer now.
Trust that your nervous system is steadier.
And trust that you can stay rooted while reaching outward.
Feel your spine tall and grounded.
Like a tree with deep roots and flexible branches.
Opening does not mean abandoning yourself.
It means extending from yourself.
Imagine your breath flowing from your belly to your heart.
And then softly outward into the space around you.
With each inhale,
Receive.
And with each exhale,
Offer.
I can open without losing myself.
I can connect while staying rooted.
I trust my timing.
Stay here for a few slow breaths.
Opening is not a return to who you were before.
It is an emergence as who you are now.
Take one deeper breath in.
And a long and steady breath out.
When you feel ready,
Gently start coming back to the here and now.
Back into your body.
Back into the room.
Back into your awareness.
Take up space again in the world around you.
This moment is yours.
As you return to the present,
Allow yourself to say yes to the good feelings that are still with you.
That sense of peace,
Joy and calm.
Let them stay with you and grow as you go through the rest of your day.
And remember,
You can choose to keep feeling this way.
Take a deep breath in and gently let it go when you're ready.
With your eyes still closed,
Notice what you can hear around you.
Notice how your body feels.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Notice where your feet are resting.
And notice the feeling of your clothes against your skin.
Start to move a little.
Move your fingers and wiggle your toes.
Roll your shoulders.
And gently move your head from side to side.
Let yourself slowly become more and more present.
Welcome these calm,
Joyful and comfortable feelings to stay with you today and beyond.
Take one more deep breath and let it go when you're ready.
And when the moment feels right,
You can open your eyes.
Take a bit of time before moving.
Stay seated for a moment.
Look around the room.
Notice a few things near you.
And then when you're ready,
You can get up and carry on with your day.
Bringing the goodness you've just experienced with you.
Letting it stay with you throughout your day.
I would like to invite you to pause a moment before you move on with your day.
And notice what feels different in your body compared to your season of withdrawal.
Does opening feel exciting,
Vulnerable,
Tender or maybe strong?
And if you choose to do so,
Maybe you can explore in your journal.
What feels safe for me to re-engage with right now?
What boundaries will help me stay rooted as I open?
How can I open slowly and sustainably?
And what part of me has grown during my inward season?
Let this be intentional expansion and not a return to overextending.
True opening is steady,
Rooted and embodied.
I want to thank you for joining me today.
And I wish you a lovely rest of your day.
Till next time!
