Grounding.
Sit in a comfortable chair with your back supported.
Close your eyes.
Come into your body.
Take a couple of slow,
Deep breaths and acknowledge that your energy is here and present.
Focus your mind on an area about 2.
5 cm or 1 inch above your tailbone.
This is the place of your root chakra.
Imagine your root chakra as a glowing red energy ball.
Now imagine the roots of a rose connected to your root chakra.
One end is connected to your tailbone and the other end dangles down from your tailbone.
Now,
Using your imagination,
See the roots growing downward from your tailbone.
Visualise the roots flowing down through the chair that you are sitting in,
Through the floor and passing down through the building's foundation and into the coiled soil below.
Allow your grounding roots to quickly flow down through all the layers of the earth until it reaches the centre of Mother Earth,
The earth's molten core.
When you see that the roots reach the core of the earth,
Use your intention to see the roots fan out and wrap around the earth's core to make the connection.
Once your roots attach to the earth's core,
Mentally follow your roots back up,
Seeing it connected securely to your first chakra.
In this state your energetic body is grounded so that you can easily release energies that you do not need.
