Hello,
I'm Diana and I would like to welcome you to this meditation,
Resting in Divine Love.
So let's get started.
Take a few moments to settle into a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
When you choose to lie down,
Make sure that you do this in a place where you do not normally sleep,
So that you can stay awake for the duration of this meditation.
Please also make sure that you softly and close your eyes when that feels safe.
When it doesn't,
Please lower your gaze.
Allow this time to be just for you,
A moment of deep rest,
Healing and connection.
Begin with a slow,
Gentle breath in through your nose.
A long,
Easy breath out through your mouth.
And again,
Inhale softly.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the surface beneath you.
You are safe here.
And now I'd like to invite you to imagine above you a soft,
Radiant light,
And full of love.
This is the light of divine love.
It may appear as golden,
White or any color that feels healing to you.
With every breath in,
Allow this light to pour over you,
Resting gently on your head,
Soothing your heart,
Spreading into every part of your body.
There's nothing you need to do.
Nothing you need to be.
Simply rest in this love that asks for nothing of you,
Except to receive.
You may want to silently repeat the following affirmations to yourself.
I am safe.
I am safe.
I am safe.
I am safe.
Allow these words to sink in like warm sunlight on your skin.
And then I'd like to invite you to join me in a quiet prayer.
Repeat silently after me.
May I know the peace of being unconditionally loved and restore me.
And now we'll rest here,
Cradled in divine love for a few minutes.
Imagine being wrapped in the gentlest embrace,
Supported by something far greater than yourself.
You are safe.
You are cherished.
You are at peace.
I'd like to let you know when two minutes have passed.
It has been two minutes.
When you feel ready,
You return.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
Start to notice your body again.
Your feet.
And the surface beneath you.
Gently move your fingers and your toes a little.
And when it feels right,
Softly open your eyes,
Carrying with you the calm and peace of unconditional divine love.
