Get comfortable in your seated,
Standing,
Or reclined position.
Place your hands on your torso to create a connection with your body.
Take a moment to relax into it.
Begin your day with a sense of mindfulness and intention instead of urgency to set the direction of the day.
Rest with the simple question,
What quality do I most want to engage today?
By quality,
I mean something you can cultivate throughout your day like patience,
Generosity,
Or kindness.
Focus on something you know you want to see more of.
You may already be patient,
Kind,
Generous.
So this practice is about manifesting it more regularly.
Take this time to focus on one quality.
When you know what quality you'd like to cultivate,
Set that intention.
Today I'm going to be.
.
.
And whatever the quality may be for you today,
It's perfect.
Think through what you have to do today.
Your morning,
What you'll do for lunch,
Who you'll spend time with,
And then at the end of the day,
What you want to do.
Are you going to be attending a lot of meetings?
Or hold up somewhere doing a lot of work?
Or perhaps spending time with family and friends?
How would this quality that you want to cultivate manifest in those relationships?
Identify what might be the most challenging part of your day and just acknowledge that.
For example,
Loosely visualize how you would react to that person who always talks for so long in meetings.
Send your mind to the intention to cultivate patience in that moment,
When you meet that person,
When you sit down and have that meeting.
Basically,
Map out how you want to live.
How will you live in line with your intention,
In line with the quality you really want to
