And welcome to The Artist's Morning.
My name's Darius,
And wherever you are in the world,
Whenever you are in the world,
I am so grateful that we get this time together,
Now.
Our practice today,
The intention of it is to help you feel stronger,
Feel more confident,
And feel more supported by the universe.
Let's begin.
If your eyes are open,
I'd like to invite you to gently close them now as we go inwards
Together.
And if there is any tension in your jaw,
Around your forehead,
Your eyes,
We're going to just
Gently soften and release,
Using our breath,
Taking longer,
Slower,
Deeper breaths,
Giving
Our nervous system a chance to just ease into this experience.
There's no rush.
Take a moment to truly arrive.
You are worthy of patience.
You are worthy of grace.
Give yourself a little bit of time just to land in your body.
Come back to this moment,
And let's take a breath together to anchor us in to this moment
Here.
Breathing in,
Pulling any energy that's elsewhere,
Bringing it back in home into your heart now.
How is your heart this morning?
There are no right or wrong answers here.
It's just a check-in,
A private and personal check-in.
Giving ourselves grace and patience and compassion to feel however we feel.
Just a little space to feel exactly how we are is the way,
The path to lightness,
To
Ease,
To freedom.
If you notice your breathing gets shallow,
Your shoulders get tense,
The energy concentrates
In your forehead,
That's okay.
That's what overthinking feels like.
All you have to do is take a couple deep breaths and release.
Let your shoulders drop,
And remember you are safe here.
You are safe here.
Maybe that's hard to believe that you are safe here in your body,
In your own presence,
But there is safety and maybe it's easy for you to believe.
Even if you resist it,
You are safe here,
Right here.
I'm going to share some affirmations now,
And as always with all of my meditations,
With all of my affirmations,
There will be some that resonate,
Take those in and plant
Them in your heart,
And others that you don't vibe with,
Just let them float away or feel
Free to adjust them.
There's no right or wrong way of doing this.
Take a nice deep breath here together,
Breathing in,
And gently letting it go.
Today we find ourselves in this beautiful floaty space,
We feel so light,
There's this
Warm energy,
This warm light all over.
You can tell it's not just soothing,
But it's also healing.
It's allowing heavier things just to wash away from us,
Just wash away.
This warm light just washes it all away.
I'm going to start with the affirmations now.
I am surrounded with love.
I am filled with love.
Everywhere I look,
Everywhere I go,
Love is there.
I am surrounded with love.

Love is there.
Just taking a moment to feel the energy,
The essence of love,
Allowing it to just wash
Away any energy that's not serving you.
It's like a gentle breeze,
Like a wave that gently crashes onto your chest,
Your heart,
Your head,
And as it does,
It just washes away.
It blows away anything that no longer serves you.
Can you feel it as it hits your face?
As it hits your chest?
I am always safe.
I am always carried.
I am always held.
I am always guided.

Feeling this new wave of love and support to impact your mind,
Body,
And soul now.
There's no right or wrong way.
The impact might be light and it might be profound.
You are allowed to resist the impact.
That is an impact as well,
Resistance.
Let's take another deep breath here as we go in for another round of affirmations,
Breathing
In and letting it all go.

We have one more song left this morning and if you're open to it.
I'd like to use our hands,
Our powerful hands,
To clear off any remaining energy,
Any cords,
Any entanglement with society,
With past relationships,
With comparison that is taking our energy,
Taking our attention away from us.
And here's how we're going to do this.
Bring your hands in front of you now and imagining these entanglements,
These cords that we get
Connected with,
With other people,
With external validation,
With past stories that no longer
Serve us,
With expectations of family,
Of society,
Of ourselves even.
They're attached to your throat,
To your heart,
To your stomach,
To your pelvic region.
And the solution is so simple.
The solution is love.
We're going to take our loving hands and work our way from our throats down and just place
Your hands on your body,
Working your way down.
And as you do,
All of these cords,
All of these entanglements snap off painlessly,
Soothingly.
Work your way down at any pace.
You can go back to the top again.
I am strong.
I am healthy.
I am clear.
I am whole.
And I am home.

And the universe is me.
Clearing,

Clearing.
We are letting go of anything that no longer serves us.
We no longer need these entanglements,
These expectations,
These external attachments.
We are whole.
We will be the home to our soul,
To our heart.
We have everything we need within us already.
Let's take a deep breath here.
Bring our meditation to an end,
