This minute long listening practice is a poetic pause that invites you to soften, unravel and return to the powerful presence beneath all that's been held together for too long. A reading to remind you that coming undone can be its own kind of be-coming. Take a pause. Take a breath. Push play. "And marvel at your own magnificence." (original poem by Darcel Hawkins)

When the shoes are worn,

And I don't mean just to work,

But edges torn,

When the tiresome trajectory of your life seems heavier than the weight of the world,

Stop and unravel yourself.

Unfurl and uncurl the sweet weavings of your subconscious mind.

Come alive.

Allow the truth to break you apart,

To create cracks where once there were walls.

Let it help you to reimagine all the stories you conjured up to stay the victim,

To subdue your power,

To keep small in the biggest of worlds.

Open not only your eyes,

But your heart to the endless potential and possibilities of this beautiful,

Beloved life.

Come undone and marvel at your own magnificence.
