Good morning sweet beings.
And it is going to be a good morning.
Especially because we're here together.
I want you to take a moment and when you have enough wakefulness in your body,
Even if you have to pause this,
I want you to bring yourself into a comfortable seated position.
Go ahead and stretch the arms and shrug the shoulders and move the head or the neck or even the jaw around until you can find comfort in that seated position.
And it might take a moment.
But when you get there let's draw in two deep breaths together.
So big inhale through the nose and let it go out of the mouth.
Let's do that again.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale out of the mouth.
And as your breath comes back to its natural rhythm,
Let's see if we can turn our attention to the breath.
So becoming aware of the next few inhales and exhales.
Let them be as effortless as possible.
I think one of the most important things or important ways to begin a day,
Begin our day,
Is with gratitude.
And so as you shift your attention to the breath and you feel a little more wakeful in the body,
Let's start to build in that vibration of gratitude right inside of the heart space.
I want you to bring one hand or both hands to your heart and tune into something that makes you fill up with thankfulness.
A person,
A place,
A small little object.
And see if you can bring to your heart space gratitude.
And as you do,
Even if you're using a specific vision in the mind,
As soon as your heart fills with gratitude,
I want you to shift to the words,
Thank you for this day.
Thank you for this morning.
Thank you for this day.
Thank you for this morning.
Thank you for this day.
Thank you for this morning.
And if the gratitude,
If the thankfulness starts to leave that heart space,
See if you can bring it back.
See if you can bring it back to re-cultivate that sense of thankfulness,
Of thank you in your own heart.
And it might take that shifting to something very specific that you're thankful for.
But as soon as that heart space fills with gratitude,
I want you to repeat those words.
Thank you for this day.
Thank you for this morning.
I feel your heart space get expansive.
Maybe a small smile that spreads across your face,
Another great way to start the morning.
And as you are feeling wakeful and have awareness of the breath and this beautiful vibration in the heart,
I want you to start to build in your mind a vision for your day.
Maybe there's something very specific that's happening today and I just want you to see it very clearly in your mind's eye the way that you hope it goes.
We always give our day grace to unfold in the most divine way possible,
But we can also set up these intentions for going about our day.
Are we moving in love?
Are we moving through the day in gratitude?
What do we see for the next few steps,
For the next few hours?
Keep that gratitude in your heart as you move into this vision of the mind.
What we cultivate inside is what we often see on the outside,
So taking these few moments at the beginning of your day is such a great way to prep for the rest of the hours to come.
You can let your hand fall away from the heart space or maybe it's both hands dropping down Take another shoulder shrug,
Pull the shoulders up toward the ears and just let them relax down the back.
Let's do those two deep breaths together once again so big inhale through the nose let it go out of the mouth One more time,
Big inhale through the nose exhale out of the mouth and let's see if we can carry this attentiveness,
This mindfulness and this deep gratitude into the rest of the day so deeply from my heart to yours Namaste
