Thank you so much for joining this meditation today with our intentions of releasing the false self and embodying our most authentic nature built to protect us,
To shield us from the judgmental or hateful.
Our false selves have been a fundamental part of our lives and should be acknowledged with reverence as they have assisted us in getting this far.
Still,
For those who walk a spiritual path,
Finding our true voice and power,
We may recognize that we're ready to release these versions of self which are no longer in alignment with the truth of our heart,
Understanding that with our growing strength of spirit and our heart's knowings,
We no longer need the protection our false self may have provided us.
And so,
Please find a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down,
And allow your spine to grow straight,
Your neck long,
And keeping your chin lightly tucked,
Roll your shoulders down and back,
Opening your heart space.
If you haven't already,
Please close your eyes.
Here,
Let us turn our attention inward to witness what's within our body in this time and place.
Notice any holding or tension that you may be storing in your muscles.
Notice any stagnancy of the energy within,
And imagining a brilliant white light filling you with every inhalation.
Breathe in to these spaces of holding or stagnancy,
And on each exhalation,
Release all limitation,
All tightness.
Continue searching through your body and see what's there for you,
Breathing into it and healing yourself with pranic energy.
Relax the muscles of your face,
Release your jaw,
Relax your tongue.
On your next inhalation,
Take a deep breath in,
Filling yourself all the way up,
And with a sigh,
Let it go.
Take another deep breath in,
All the way,
And release.
Take one last deep breath in,
Take a few extra sips in if you can,
And hold.
Let your entire body relax and release.
Perfect.
See yourself now on a beach,
Alone,
On a beautiful sunny day.
Feel the healing vibrations of nature surrounding you,
Of the ocean,
The sand beneath your feet,
The wind in your hair.
Walking down this beach,
Enjoying these positive vibrations of nature,
See that in the distance,
There is another.
Walking down this beach towards you,
Before you can even see this person in detail,
You intuitively know that this is a part of yourself.
It is a part of yourself which is not in alignment with your highest purpose.
It is a part of yourself that you may have created in the past to fit in,
Or to avoid judgment,
Or to protect you from lower vibrational energies here on earth.
As this self grows closer to you,
See them in more detail,
And recognize what it is about them that is inauthentic,
What is it about them that is false,
And without judgment,
Loving and accepting this false self as a necessity of the time and place they were created in.
See yourself coming face to face with them.
See the two of you standing together on this beach.
See in the eyes of this other self their gratitude and their pride for you having outgrown them.
See how happy they are to see you embodying yourself more fully,
To see yourself shedding fear and stepping into your truth,
Shining your light,
And allow yourself to embrace this false self.
Feel yourselves holding each other closely,
Taking the hand of your false self.
Begin walking out into the water as you go deeper and deeper into this water.
Feel that it is time to release this self,
To let them go and see that they are ready.
See that they are happy to be leaving you in your authenticity and your power,
And see that they are excited for you to step forward into a new life of spiritual self-worth,
Power,
And grace,
Knowing that they will always be with you in support.
But they are releasing themselves from being present in your everyday consciousness.
Allow yourself to let go of this false self's hand and see them swimming out into the ocean.
As they move away from you,
Feel yourself empowered in the knowing that you are a spiritual being who is finding a more authentic way of living,
Who is stepping into embodiment of your heart's greatest truths,
Allowing this self to disappear on the horizon.
Feel how they are still with you in your heart,
Supporting and protecting you.
But acknowledge how you are strong enough now to stand on your own and allowing yourself to return to this beach.
Allow yourself to sit or lie in a meditative position in the warm sand here.
Feel down into Mother Earth.
Allow your roots to grow deep as you connect down into the energies of the Earth,
Grounding this practice,
Grounding this more authentic self that you are now embodying.
Take a moment to ask Mother Earth herself to support you on this journey,
To support this growth,
To support your authentic expression and feeling yourself held here by the nurturing energies of Mother Earth.
Allow yourself to return to your physical body.
Begin to sense the space around you.
Allow your body to gently move and stretch,
That you can return to this practice as many times as you need to.
Take a deep breath in and let it go.
And whenever you're ready,
Open your eyes.
