Welcome to this guided meditation on connecting with our spirit guides.
We'll be unifying with ourselves,
Our planet,
And our team of guides who are always with us and always ready to help.
As we settle in here,
To comfortable positions,
Seated or lying down,
I want you to set a strong intention for this practice today.
Is there a question you'd like answered,
Or something no longer serving you you'd like help getting rid of?
Perhaps you're just looking for reassurance that your guides are really there,
Or maybe you know them well,
And you'd just like to express your gratitude for all the help you've already received.
Whatever your intention is today,
Firmly state it now,
Either out loud or internally.
Having set our intentions,
We may let them go.
We trust that any guidance we receive or do not receive is in accordance with the highest and greatest good,
Not only for ourselves,
But for all.
And whatever position you're in,
Make sure your palms rest face up in a state of receiving.
Now whenever you're ready,
Close your eyes.
Come to focus on your breath,
Finding a steady and natural rhythm.
Really relax.
Find any points of tension you may hold in your body,
And release them.
You may release them by moving your body slightly to readjust and to get rid of the discomfort,
Or you may just focus on loosening your muscles.
Really sink in here,
Relax,
And let go of the tension.
I want you to see yourself now,
Climbing a stone-tiled staircase which leads you upward and curves around the outer edge of a jagged mountainside.
The mountain's slope is all dirt and stone,
Too steep to support plant-like.
The air appears brisk and fresh.
You feel enlivened as you watch eagles surf the winds,
Climbing in spirals as they ride thermal energies and natural updrafts of the mountainside.
Down below and into the distance,
You see the mountain covered by a thick forest.
The beautiful,
Vibrant forest stretches out in all directions,
As far as the eye can see,
Untainted by human civilization.
As you continue your climb,
Breathing the fresh mountain air,
You notice you're nearing a cloud layer,
Which the path seemingly disappears up into.
You continue upward.
Piercing this layer,
You can feel its condensation surrounding you.
This is not a normal cloud.
Its properties are revitalizing.
As you continue up the path,
Taking large gulps of the cloud's thick air,
You feel its energies surging through you.
You feel yourself feeling extraordinarily present.
You feel your heart space opening.
You feel your connection to the magic of the universe increasing.
Finally,
You emerge from the thick cloud layer and find yourself ascending the last length of staircase.
You take the top step and find yourself on a broad and flat landing,
The summit of this majestic mountain.
You walk across the modestly sized landing area,
Observing the unique view afforded by your position above the thick cloud layer.
You're not realizing in any direction,
Except for a floor made of thick cloud and a brilliant blue sky above.
You find a seat near an edge of the plateau,
Overlooking the wonder before you.
And you take that seat.
Here,
You find the dirt to be loosely packed and surprisingly comfortable.
Really let yourself sink in,
Feeling the warming presence of the midday sun high above.
Take a deep breath in of this astoundingly fresh air.
Let it permeate your entire sense of being as you allow your breath to grow deep and steady.
Let everything else float away.
If any thoughts come up,
Acknowledge them and let them pass.
Gently bring your focus back to your breath.
Feel your body becoming one with the mountain below you.
Feel yourself beginning to meld into it and blend with the stone and the dirt.
Its mass is becoming your mass.
Feel the weight of being a mountain.
Feel your rootedness to the planet.
Feel your stability.
Let your consciousness expand,
Focusing on the energy of the earth,
Which now flows up into the base of your spine and the bottoms of your feet.
Feel the earth's energy begin moving upward,
Balancing and healing you as it goes.
Feel it pass through your spine,
Just behind your navel,
Your sacral center.
Feel it rise through your mid-chest,
Your solar plexus.
Rising still,
Feel the earth's energy pass through your heart's center.
Higher and higher still,
The energy reaches your throat,
Where it heals,
Balances and continues up.
It lands in your pineal gland,
Your third eye,
Where it heals,
Balances and expands.
Finally,
The energy settles at your crown,
The very top of your head.
Here,
The earth's energy pools.
Focus your attention here,
On your crown,
As you continue to breathe,
Slowly and steadily.
Notice that the energy does not stop here.
You're beaming it skyward,
Up into the heavens.
You are now perfectly balanced between the heaven and the earth,
Held by the earth,
Connected to the heavens.
Holding these connections,
We invite our guides to join us.
We ask them to surround us with their love.
We invite our spirit team to make their presence known to us.
Always with us,
Even when we may not be capable of perceiving them.
Our guides care for us.
Allow them now to become apparent.
Let them come.
Listen to what they have to say.
Realize you're safe here.
Realize you're always safe,
As your guides are always with you.
Feel their reassurance that you are on the right path.
Feel the love they have for you.
And feel the gratitude you have for them.
This is your soul family.
Now we rest here,
In silence,
With the intentions of receiving any messages,
Or guidance,
Or answers to the questions we may have asked earlier.
And we stay with our breath,
As we receive.
And we stay with our breath,
As we receive.
And we stay with our breath,
As we receive.
Now,
We come back to our bodies atop the grand mountaintop,
Seeing that the layer of clouds has broken,
And the forest is again visible in all directions.
We thank not only our guides for the love they've shared,
But our Mother Earth for sustaining and grounding us.
See yourself rising from your seat atop the mountain,
And beginning to head back down the staircase,
As the sun begins to set.
And begin coming back to your physical body,
Where it rests in meditation.
Allow your fingers and toes and muscles to move.
Feel free to stretch.
Feel the space around you.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
