Welcome to your morning ritual. This is a very short and simple practice to breathe along to, connect with your body in the morning, and set your clear intention for your day. This recording is perfect if you're someone who wants to check in with yourself in the morning but doesn't have the time for a lengthy meditation. Today is a new day and a new opportunity to choose to set a clear intention for how you want to direct your energy.

Let's start with connecting your breath.

Allow your inhale to fill your belly,

Your lungs,

And your chest to the very top and hold here.

While you hold,

Soften your eyelids and your jaw.

Sip in a little bit more air.

Relax your shoulders.

3,

2,

1,

Let go.

Now connect your breaths.

Breathe in again real slow and out from your mouth.

Don't stop at the top or at the bottom,

Just keep your breath moving.

You could imagine your breath like the ocean,

Like water.

Make more space in your belly,

In your hips.

Allow this morning breath to cleanse your system in your nose and out from your mouth.

Take 3 more rounds,

Just like that.

Breathe in,

Clear out.

2 more,

Let out some noise on your exhales.

Take the biggest breath you've taken all day and hold at the very top of your inhale.

Soften your whole physical body here,

Your eyelids,

Your jaw,

Your shoulders,

Your glutes,

Your legs.

Let your energy drop down into your gut.

Hold for 3,

2,

1,

Let go.

Place your hands on your heart or belly or both.

Bring your gaze behind your closed eyelids and set your intention for today.

Once you know your intention,

Feel it in your body.

What does that feel like?

Allow it to take up space.

When you're ready,

Flutter your eyes open and welcome your new day.
