Today on Struck Inside Out All is always well.
I am the peace I am seeking.
I sit here and I let myself be exactly as I am now.
I let the anxiety,
The sadness,
And the confusion rise up from my stomach and into my chest.
I don't judge it.
I don't identify with it.
I simply allow it to be,
For these emotions are a part of me.
When they arise and a tightness expands,
I say to them,
I love you and there is always space for you here,
But I don't need you right now.
I set you free.
Thank you for trying to protect me,
But I am okay.
I am always okay.
You are too.
I lovingly let you go.
Then,
As I take a deep inhale,
I imagine a beautiful bright light filling my being.
I feel the light roam around and fill all of the spaces within me,
Transforming any doubt into insight,
Any fear into love,
And all confusion into wisdom.
For these emotions are two in the same,
Are they not?
They need each other just as we need them.
For our darkness illuminates our light,
And our light always feels lighter after a heavy darkness.
Can you allow yourself to sit in your own darkness?
Can you allow yourself to feel your fear?
For if you can remember that you are always well,
You are always safe,
And you are always protected,
Then these sometimes scary emotions won't have power over you.
For you know you are always the one in control of your thoughts and emotions.
When you are no longer afraid to welcome all sensations,
You begin to trust yourself and life itself.
Take the next few moments to breathe deeply,
To hold your hands together in your lap,
And really feel your current state of being.
Hold yourself and sit with yourself.
No judgments,
No identification,
No labeling,
Just being.
