Hello beautiful soul,

Let's take this moment to release the tension you may be carrying in your head,

Your neck and your shoulders.

These areas often hold to stress and strain from our thoughts and the way that we carry of our daily life.

But right now,

You have permission to let it all go.

Let's get started.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Hold it gently and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Feel your body begin to soften.

Now bring your awareness to the top of your head.

Imagine a gentle warm light resting there like the sign on a calm day.

This light begins to flow down soothing your scalp,

Your temples and your forehead.

With each breath out,

You feel the muscles in your head releasing,

Softening.

Let this warm light flow down to your neck.

Notice if you're holding tension there,

Tightness in the back of your neck or stiffness in the sides.

With your next exhale,

Imagine the light melting the tension away,

Leaving only ease and comfort.

Now let this light spread into your shoulders.

These muscles often carry the weight of your day,

Your responsibilities,

Your worries.

As you breathe,

Feel your shoulders softening,

Dropping away from your ears,

Becoming lighter.

Imagine that with every exhale,

The light dissolves any tightness,

Leaving you feeling open and free.

Silently repeat these words to yourself.

I release all tension.

I allow my body to relax.

I am light,

Calm and at ease.

Take one more deep breath in.

As you exhale,

Let a wave of calm wash over your head,

Your neck and your shoulders.

Feel how much lighter you are,

How much more space there is in your body.

When you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers,

Your toes,

Maybe move your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your head.

And then open your eyes whenever it feels right.

Thank you so much for taking this time for yourself.

Carry this lightness with you into the rest of your day.
