Welcome to my short series on reframing your thoughts.
My name's Dali.
And if you've joined any of my live sessions or listened to any of my recordings previously,
You'll know that there is a common thread on how to bring more peace to your day.
Using little tips and techniques and quite often reminders,
Reminders of things we already know but may have forgotten.
To help us have more peace in our days.
Today's topic is reframing our thoughts on forgiveness.
When we think about forgiveness,
It's usually in one of two ways.
We usually think that We need somebody else to forgive us for something we've potentially done wrong or they think we've done wrong.
Or the other way is we are struggling with forgiving somebody else for something that they've done to us.
Both of those ways of thinking about forgiveness usually come with some kind of suffering for us,
Some kind of turmoil that we're experiencing.
Now the third way of thinking about forgiveness that I want you to think about reframing your thoughts on.
Is forgiving yourself.
How often do you think about,
In both of those situations,
Forgiving yourself?
Perhaps you have done something that you wish you hadn't done.
Have you forgiven yourself?
Or are you beating yourself up about it?
Maybe somebody else has done something to you and you feel wronged.
And in that you are overthinking all of these feelings and you're suffering with it.
How many times do you think about forgiving yourself?
Being kind to yourself.
Not beating yourself up.
Start with that.
Next time you think about forgiveness and the need for either you to forgive someone else or someone else to forgive you.
Start with forgiving yourself.
And I guarantee if you practice that,
You will immediately start to feel.
Better and have more peace in your day.
I'd love to know how you get on with that.
Take care.
