Welcome to a meditation practice for Taurus season.
Today we are making time to ground into stability and connection.
This meditation can be used at any time during Taurus season,
Or when you're looking to tap into Taurus or Venusian energy,
As Venus rules over Taurus.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated position.
Find support on the earth beneath you by lengthening your spine and finding a neutral pelvis.
It may be helpful to lift your shoulders up,
Back,
And down,
Opening up your chest.
On your next inhale,
Close your eyes and take a few more deep breaths to settle into this moment.
At your own pace,
Scan your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
Notice any areas of tension or discomfort.
With each exhale,
Allow for them to soften and release.
Imagine roots extending from your body down into the earth,
Anchoring you firmly in place.
With each breath,
Feel these roots grow deeper into the earth,
Grounding you even further.
If you've lost track of your breath,
That's okay.
Take this moment to kindly return back to your inhale and exhale.
Taurus season is a time to cultivate gratitude for all that you have and all that you are.
No matter how small or big,
What are the blessings in your life?
Next,
Notice the blessings in the world around you.
Allow for these blessings to fill your heart with a sense of appreciation and ease.
Let these blessings be absorbed into your body and stay with you this Taurus season.
Remember that you are deeply connected to the earth and its infinite blessings.
Deepen your breath and gradually bring your awareness back to the space that you are in.
Notice the sounds,
The temperature,
Maybe even the colors in the room as you wiggle your fingers and toes and stretch your body gently.
When you're ready to do so,
You can invite some more movement back into your body and continue on with the rest of your day.
You can return back to this space with your breath at any time.
