Transcript

This is a simple reflection for the end of the year.

I invite you to get into a comfortable,

Seated,

Supported position.

Finding a neutral pelvis.

Opening up your chest by lifting your shoulders up,

Back,

And down.

Placing your hands on your thighs,

On your belly,

Or even on your chest if that's what feels comfortable.

Give yourself a few more moments of wiggling to find your right position.

Once you have found a comfortable space within your body,

I encourage you to engage with your mind by deepening your inhale and exhale.

It may be helpful to notice the rise and fall of your belly with each breath.

Maybe even the temperature of the air on your skin as a reminder to anchor back into your body.

For this moment of reflection,

I'll ask you a few questions to guide you in introspection.

Feel free to explore these areas one more than the other.

Or repeat this exercise a few times if you find that no answers appear right away.

And that's okay.

That is a part of the reflection process.

The first area of focus is to reflect on the things that went well.

What can you celebrate?

What can you find gratitude for in the last 12 months?

What lessons did you learn?

What challenges or mistakes did you gain insight from in the last 12 months?

What are you ready to leave behind in this year to make space for the new?

Allow for your body to inform you when it is ready to do so and has the capacity to hold you and support you.

This means that you might get the answers right now or in a few minutes or hours or even in a few days.

And that is okay.

But your body always knows what it needs to do.

It's up to you and building an intuitive or intentional practice to find trust and understanding within your body.

Many blessings.

I hope this new year treats you with love and magic.
