This is a meditation for protection.
You can use this meditation daily or when you're traveling to ensure your safety throughout your day or week.
To begin,
Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can sit for the next few minutes.
Find support in your spine,
Placing your shoulders in line with your hips.
Begin by taking deep breaths in and out through your nose.
Breathe in and fill your lungs with air.
It is common for ideas or sensations to arise in your body,
And when that does,
Return back to your breath.
You may have to repeat that a few times throughout this meditation,
And that is okay.
Grounded into your body and mind,
Imagine a soft light illuminating the middle of your chest.
This light serves as protection.
Each inhale,
The light gets brighter and spreads throughout your body.
As it continues to shine,
It creates a protective bubble around you.
In this space,
You are safe and free.
This bubble is a shield from negativity and stress that strengthens with every inhale and exhale.
Allow for this sensation to be present with you.
When you expand this protective bubble beyond you and send it to your loved ones,
Your home,
Your community,
Envision it creating a shield of protection for all beings.
As this meditation comes to a close,
You can invite this protective bubble to come back and only engulf you.
With your breath,
You can always return back to this meditation and this sense of protection.
When you are ready to continue with your day,
Slowly open your eyes and become acquainted with your space.
Feeling refreshed and protected,
May the rest of your day be filled with light and love.
