Hello and welcome to this space.

Happy to have you here.

If you have any worries,

Any expectations for what this might feel like,

You can begin to let that go.

All you have to do today in our time together is breathe in and out through your nose,

Filling your belly with air,

Letting it slowly leave the body.

I'll invite you to get in a comfortable position,

Your spine nice and tall,

Your sit bones supported,

Grounded into your seat.

You may close your eyes or keep them open.

Maybe it might help to lift your shoulders up,

Back,

And down,

Opening up your chest,

Allowing for the air to flow throughout your body easily.

At your own pace,

I'll invite you to take 10 deep breaths.

Often when we set aside time for ourselves,

We tend to time travel.

We may visit the past or take a trip to the future,

Without ever giving ourselves a moment in the now,

Without ever packing our bags for a staycation.

It's our brain's job to keep us alive,

Keep us going.

It is the role of our mind to sit back and relax and enjoy your vacation.

When was the last time you gave yourself a break?

Could that time be right now?

Staycations may be filled with pleasure.

Sometimes you have discomfort,

Just like sometimes it rains on the beach.

Other times the sunrise follows the cityscape in the way that I've never noticed before.

You may have felt the urge already to time travel.

That's okay.

Whenever this happens,

Just return back to your breath.

Return back to your staycation.

As our time together comes to a close,

I'd like for you to invite some movement back into your body.

Maybe roll out your shoulders,

Tap your fingers against your lap,

Against your face.

If you close your eyes,

You can begin to allow some light to seep in,

Slowly taking in the space that you're in.

Notice any changes in your body,

In your mind.

Until next time,

Until your next staycation,

You have the opportunity to give yourself rest,

To give yourself love,

To be in the now.
