Welcome to this Capricorn Season meditation.
Feel free to use this meditation at any time during Capricorn Season when you're looking to tap into Capricorn's energy,
As well as its running planet,
Saturn.
To begin,
Find a comfortable space where you can be with your body and mind for the next few minutes.
Whether that is seated or laying down,
Find a comfortable position that offers support.
Lift your shoulders up,
Back,
And down,
Opening up your chest,
Allowing for a deeper breath.
You can find a neutral pelvis by imagining your belly button touching your spine without sucking in your belly.
Feel free to place your hands facing upwards or downwards on your lap or on your stomach,
Whatever feels comfortable for you today,
And slowly close your eyes.
Throughout this meditation,
It is possible for ideas or to-do lists to arise,
And when that does,
All you have to do is return back to your breath.
This is a part of the meditation practice and completely normal.
Let's begin by breathing in and out through our nose,
Not forcing it,
But allowing for a natural rhythm.
At your own pace,
Take 10 deep breaths.
With each breath,
Sink deeper into the stillness of your body.
Tune into Capricorn's Earth sign energy by imagining roots growing from the base of your spine,
Connecting you to the Earth below you.
These roots push through layers of Earth,
Seeking stability.
Feel their strength as they anchor you in through the soil.
This is Capricorn energy,
Steady,
Determined,
And connected to the foundations that nourish its growth.
Gaining insight from your body and insight from the Earth,
Ask yourself,
What am I building this Capricorn season?
Which habits or practices strengthen my foundation?
Where am I ready to climb higher in alignment with my purpose?
Allow these questions to echo within you,
Trusting that the answers will come at their own time.
Return back to your breath once again,
Deepening each inhale and exhale.
Notice how your body feels at this moment.
Your next inhale,
Allow these roots to release any tension or provide you with any support you may need.
Following your next exhale,
These roots begin to fade,
But you hold on to the knowledge that this power to stay connected and grounded to the Earth is possible within you at any time by connecting to your breath.
Take a moment now to honor yourself for showing up for this meditation,
And consider giving yourself an intention for this season.
Can you also offer your intention to others so that they too can be supported?
Slowly bring your awareness back to your physical body,
While your fingers and toes stretch gently from side to side,
Or slowly lift your arms above your head if that is comfortable for you to do today.
Return back to the space that you're in,
Noticing the sounds,
The colors,
The temperatures in the space,
And when you're ready,
You can slowly open your eyes.
Give yourself a few minutes before carrying on with your day.
