Welcome to a meditative working for attuning to your personal and spiritual reawakening.
Begin this meditation in a position that is comfortable for you.
This can be sitting or lying down,
Indoors or outdoors.
Settle into a place that is free from distractions.
If you wish,
You may close the eyes.
Take a deep breath and release it slowly.
As you do so,
Allow the jaw to relax and soften.
Allow the muscles to relax and soften,
Releasing any tension they might be storing.
Bring the awareness to the breath and simply observe the breath without attempting to alter it.
Release any worries or thoughts that compete with your peace.
You will not need those to accompany you on this journey.
The Sabbath of Ostara and the spring equinox are viewed as times of rebirth.
We witness leaves changing colors.
We see plants bursting forth from the earth and flowers abound.
In nature,
New life is all around us,
But life never truly vanished to begin with.
We celebrate life being reborn at this time,
But I invite you to consider that life is instead being recaptured by our mindfulness.
We call upon the power of nature's reawakening now.
As we recognize this magic within ourselves,
Reflect upon the personal seeds that you have planted,
Ideas,
Goals,
Dreams,
And visions,
Those very things that you have nurtured as you would a plant or a garden.
Spend a few moments now recognizing and celebrating their growth,
Reclaiming them with your mindfulness.
The personal seeds you have planted throughout your lifetime,
Although they might no longer be flowering now,
Continue to live on.
Their spirit is still present,
And it is blessing the seeds you are currently sowing,
As well as those that are yet to come.
Their spirit never dies.
Likewise,
Your spirit will never die.
Spend a few moments now recognizing and celebrating your spirit,
Reclaiming it with your mindfulness.
Begin to allow the mind to become external now,
Knowing that you can return to this practice whenever you wish.
Take another deep breath,
And release it slowly.
Become aware of the sounds around you in your current environment.
Simply notice them without attempting to alter them.
Begin inviting subtle movements into the hands and feet,
The fingers and toes.
Be aware of the body.
Be aware of the breath.
And with gratitude,
Open the eyes.
May the spring equinox bring you many bright blessings that make your spirit shine,
The crow flies from me to thee,
To send the message,
Blessed Be.
