Good morning and welcome to this meditation designed specifically for empaths.

As an empath,

You naturally absorb the energies around you,

Which can be both a gift and a challenge.

This meditation will help you create a protective shield around yourself,

Allowing you to move through the day with peace,

Clarity,

And strength,

Free from the influence of negative energies.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position,

Feeling yourself supported by the surface beneath you.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely.

Hold it for a moment,

Then exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension from your body.

Take a few more deep breaths like that,

Allowing each exhale to ground you more deeply into the present moment.

Now allow your breath to become natural and rhythmic.

With each inhale,

Imagine drawing in pure,

Bright energy.

With each exhale,

Release any tension,

Stress,

Or negativity that you may be holding.

As you continue to breathe,

Visualize a warm,

Golden light beginning to form in the center of your chest,

At your heart space.

This light represents your true self,

Your pure and loving essence.

With each breath,

See this light growing brighter and expanding outward,

Filling your entire chest,

Then your whole body,

Enveloping you in a warm,

Comforting glow.

As you breathe in,

See this light expanding beyond your body,

Forming a bubble of protective energy around you.

Imagine this bubble as a powerful shield that allows positive,

Loving energy to flow in while deflecting any negative or harmful energy away from you.

Visualize the shield becoming stronger and more resilient with each breath you take.

It can be a color that feels protective to you,

Perhaps a bright gold,

A soft white,

Or even a deep,

Calming blue.

Know that this shield is impenetrable to negativity and it is always with you,

Keeping you safe and secure as you move through your day.

Now that your shield is in place,

Take a moment to set your intentions for the day ahead.

Repeat silently or out loud,

Today I am protected.

I move through the world with grace,

Clarity,

And confidence.

I am open to positive energy and deflect anything that does not serve my highest good.

You can also set specific intentions for the day ahead,

Such as maintaining calm in stressful situations,

Being compassionate without absorbing others' emotions,

Or staying grounded in your own energy.

Set that intention now.

Take a few deep breaths,

Feeling the protective shield around you and the steady,

Grounding connection with the earth beneath you.

Take a moment to thank yourself for dedicating this time to your well-being.

When you feel ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to the room,

Wiggling your fingers and toes and gently stretching your body.

When you open your eyes,

Carry the sense of protection and strength with you as you move into your day.

Trust that your shield is with you,

Keeping you safe,

Grounded,

And centered.

You are strong,

You are loving,

And you are empowered to navigate the world with your compassionate heart.

An empowering way for this Empath to start the day with protection and intention. A combination of intensions resonated with me: being grounded in my own energy supports my self and shield, and still allows me to be compassionate without absorbing others emotions.
