Are you ready to meditate with Kori?
Make sure that you're all comfortable in your bed and everything feels just right.
The lights are just right.
You're wearing your cozy,
Comfy pajamas and all is well in the world.
So you can relax your body and let go of your busy,
Busy day.
Stephanie was at home.
She was bored.
She'd done her homework.
She'd had a shower.
She brushed her teeth,
Yet she couldn't relax.
She'd even started doing like little workouts in her bedroom.
She was doing sit-ups.
She was trying to do push-ups.
She was having fun with it,
But you know,
She was just really restless.
She felt like she was on the edge of change,
Like something different.
She wasn't sure what,
But she knew that something different was coming.
She was in her bedroom and she walked over to her dresser,
The one that had her jewelry box on,
And she sat down.
She opened the jewelry box and found her magical earrings.
Now,
If this is the first time that you're listening to Moonwell Forest,
Stephanie was given magical earrings a long time ago.
These magical earrings allow her to cross over into another world,
And that world is Moonbow Forest.
Moonbow Forest is the most magical place not on Earth.
It's somewhere far,
Far away in another dimension,
Another space and time,
And Stephanie gets to go there and be with her friends and have adventures whenever she puts these magical earrings in her ears.
She put the left one in first and she instantly started to feel a tingle,
An itch and a twitch.
Her fingers tingled,
Her toes tingled.
She felt the rush of the tingle move up her spine and it made her shiver,
And then she wanted to sneeze.
This always happened.
Her nose got really itchy and twitchy,
And then,
As she looked forward,
She saw the veil,
The veil between her world on Earth and Moonbow Forest.
It was like a crystally,
Transparent,
Twinkly curtain right there in front of her face.
Stephanie took a big,
Deep breath and closed her eyes.
She reached forward for the curtain and stepped inside from one world to the other,
Into the world of Moonbow Forest.
With her eyes still closed,
She could feel the grass underneath her feet,
Prickly,
Spongy,
And soft all at the same time.
She could smell the forest,
The trees.
She could smell donuts.
She could smell ice cream.
She could smell pizza.
And she could smell all of the wonderful things that they had there in Moonbow Forest,
And they had some quite unusual things to eat.
You see,
The thing is,
Almost everything,
Not absolutely everything,
But almost everything in Moonbow Forest you can eat.
You can't eat the unicorns.
I don't think so.
And you can't eat some of the animals and the critters and the creatures and the magical creations that are there,
But you can eat almost everything else,
The trees,
Bits of the sky,
Pizza Mountain,
Strawberry,
Milkshake lake,
All of the deliciousness that's there.
There's so much,
Trust me.
Today,
Stephanie was greeted by Charlotte.
Charlotte was a tiny unicorn.
If you had to guess her age,
She was around a teenager,
Whereas Luna,
Her most favorite treasured friend,
Her unicorn friend,
Was much older,
Much more mature.
But Charlotte,
Well,
She felt young,
Springy,
Vibrant.
Stephanie said,
Charlotte,
It's been so long.
She ran forward and gave her a hug.
Charlotte was bright,
Bright pink,
Like bubblegum pink.
She was the most funnest color unicorn ever.
Stephanie had met her a long time ago at one of the parties there,
But she'd never been on like a one-on-one journey or had very much conversation with Charlotte,
So it was nice to just see Charlotte and no one else.
Charlotte's bright pink bubblegum mane squished.
She leaned forward to hug her and rub her forehead on Stephanie's forehead.
That's how they greet.
And then she pulled back and she said,
I got some fun for you,
Girl.
Oh,
Stephanie was instantly excited.
Where are we going?
What are we going to go do?
What do we eat?
What?
What?
What?
What is it?
Charlotte giggled and said,
Wait till you see it.
It's so much fun.
Me and my girlfriends have been spending so much time there lately.
OMG,
It's just the best.
Stephanie said,
Do we walk there or do we fly there?
What do we have to do?
She said,
No,
No,
You just walk.
You walk with me.
We're going down here to the vegetable patch.
Stephanie looked at her as if to say,
Vegetables,
That's a bit boring.
Oh,
She was a bit disappointed inside.
You know,
She she was expecting something like,
I don't know,
One of the hippity hoppity frogs there that you can kiss.
And when you kiss them,
They automatically turn into a big bucket of popcorn.
You know,
Moonboy Forest was just the weirdest,
Strangest place on time.
But vegetables,
That sounded kind of boring.
But oh well,
We'll see.
Nothing's ever boring at Moonbow Forest.
So Charlotte and Stephanie walked.
They walked quietly for a while until they got to a path.
And then she said,
It's just around this path,
Just around the bottom of Pizza Mountain Hill.
It's just behind there.
Stephanie said,
OK.
She could smell the pizza.
Stephanie said,
Do you mind if I have a piece while we,
You know,
While we walk?
And Charlotte said,
No,
Go for it.
Stephanie stopped.
She stopped.
And at the bottom of Pizza Mountain was the perfect looking piece of cheese and pepperoni pizza.
It practically had her name on it.
She reached forward and said,
May I have a piece to the mountain?
And the mountain said,
Help yourself.
Welcome back,
Stephanie.
Stephanie grabbed a hold of the pizza and started to munch on it as they walked.
Oh,
It was greasy,
Hot.
The cheese was super stringy and pepperoni was just perfection.
A little bit crispy.
It was perfect.
They got around the corner of Pizza Mountain and there was what looked like an allotment.
It was like an area of land that had been sowed.
It had corn and it had beets and potatoes,
Carrots.
It had strawberries and blueberries.
It had,
Oh my goodness gracious me,
This thing that looked black at first,
But then she saw it and she was like,
Oh,
Eggplant.
That's what that is.
So.
Charlotte said,
We're here.
This is what I want to show you today.
And then Stephanie heard a bunch of giggles.
What's that?
She said to Charlotte.
Charlotte giggled.
Then she heard the giggles even louder.
And then three more unicorns,
Charlotte's friends,
Stepped out from behind one of the big giant kale bushes.
Hi,
Stephanie,
They said.
What Stephanie noticed instantly was they were all so pretty.
They were like models or something like they were made up.
That was it.
It looked like they had makeup on,
Which was very weird for Moogle Forest.
Their lips were super,
Super red and their cheeks were bright pink and their eyes were covered in what looked like blue eye makeup.
Stephanie looked at Charlotte and said,
Are these your friends?
And Charlotte said,
Yes,
These are my friends.
And this is what we're going to do here.
Come with me.
We're going to put your makeup on.
Stephanie said,
Oh,
Stephanie had not worn makeup before.
Oh,
Oh,
Okay.
She said,
How are you going to do that in a vegetable pack?
Well,
Said Charlotte,
The first thing she did was dig under the ground with a hoof and then she pulled on this green stalk and out popped a beet,
Bright red beetroot,
Beets.
She came up to Stephanie and she scratched it with her teeth and all of this red,
Beautiful,
Deep,
Pinky,
Burgundy,
Red juice came out of the beet.
And then Charlotte did the funniest thing.
She rubbed her lips in it and then she came up and went like that and smiled at Stephanie.
And Stephanie,
She couldn't stop laughing at first because it was so funny to see a unicorn with lipstick on,
Bright red lips.
And then Charlotte said,
Your turn.
So Stephanie grabbed a hold of the beet and did exactly the same.
She scratched it with her teeth in a different part and then the juice just bubbled up and then she patted it on her lips.
She had the most perfect,
Bright,
Red,
Beautiful,
Kissy,
Smacky lips ever.
Charlotte produced a mirror because,
Of course,
She had a mirror on her.
Look,
You look so good,
Said Charlotte.
And all her friends giggled,
Just like us,
Just like us.
They were all in at each other.
And then Charlotte said,
This is how you make your eyes blue.
She took her over to the blueberry brush and they rubbed blueberry juice all over her.
Over their eyelids,
Bright blue they were.
And then she took her to the strawberries and she said,
Watch this.
And she mushed a strawberry in her teeth and then dabbed it on her cheeks.
And her cheeks were most beautiful,
Pinky strawberry,
Orangey colour.
Look at that,
She said.
Stephanie said,
Wow,
That looks so good.
She did everything the same.
She kept looking at herself in the little hand mirror.
She felt weird,
Funny.
She felt a little bit like a clown.
She wanted to laugh.
But then one of the girls came over and she smoothed out her lips and then she dabbed on her cheeks and then she did something with her eyes.
And when she showed Stephanie,
Stephanie looked and it looked much more subtle,
Much more professional.
It was kind of cute.
Stephanie,
Stephanie,
Stephanie felt cute.
She liked it.
Wow,
I look good.
Charlotte said,
Well,
You looked good already,
But this is fun.
Don't you think it's fun?
Stephanie said,
Yeah,
I do.
This is a lot of fun.
Thank you.
Oh,
You're welcome,
She said.
We also do kale juice that makes you have green eyeshadow.
That's super,
Super cool,
Especially around Halloween.
Do we smell like vegetables?
Stephanie said.
Charlotte sniffed all over Stephanie's face and said,
Yes,
You do.
Yes.
And Charlotte started laughing and said,
You smell like a meal,
A whole meal.
And Stephanie said,
Wow,
That's kind of cool too.
So not only was her makeup all natural,
It also tasted good and smelled good.
You could eat her.
Well,
Not all of Stephanie,
But you know,
Her makeup for sure.
Stephanie hung out with the other teenage unicorns there,
Trying different looks,
Trying different vegetables,
Trying different colors on their face all afternoon.
They even figured out that if you wet a little bit of dark mud,
You can put mascara on.
But Stephanie's eyelashes were very heavy and she didn't like that feeling at all.
But she had so much fun with the girls.
It was nice.
And she learned a lot about makeup and how you can actually use just natural products sometimes to enhance how pretty you already are.
And then just like that,
Somehow,
Someway,
Stephanie found herself back in her bed.
She was staring up at her fan that was spinning around and around on her ceiling and she smiled to herself and when she licked her lips,
They still tasted like beets.
Hmm.
Interesting,
She thought.
The end.
Now,
Time for bed.
Sleepy head.
Time to go to sleep.
Night,
Night,
Sleepy.
Bye.
