Are you ready to meditate with Kori?

Make sure that you are all comfortable in your bed,

That the light is just right in your room,

So you can relax your body and let go of your busy busy day.

Tucker and Leo had gone to a church event.

They'd gone because they had bouncy castles,

Snow cones,

Candy floss,

They had different outdoor games and activities.

It was mostly about a community gathering rather than something that was specifically for church.

LJ,

Lee and Noah had invited Tucker and Leo and Tucker was in for a really good time.

Leo wasn't so sure.

Leo said to Tucker before they got there,

I'm not sure about this,

Too many people,

Way too many people,

Any kind of outside summertime gathering makes me stressed.

There's groups of people,

There's lots of people,

There's actually people,

I mean that's just bad enough,

People.

Tucker said,

Oh Leo you're gonna be fine,

We're gonna have so much fun and our friends are with us and they'll protect us and they'll keep us safe and Lee said she'll keep us safe and Noah said he'll keep us safe and LJ,

They'll keep us safe,

Everyone's gonna keep us safe,

It's gonna be so much fun and first thing I want to do right,

First thing I want to do is get a snow cone because it's so warm today.

Leo,

Just be brave,

Just for a snow cone.

Leo said,

Well a snow cone does sound good right now because it's so blooming warm outside.

I've got sticky armpits,

I've got rashes,

I can feel welts popping up all over my skin on my tummy just because of the heat and we haven't even got there yet with all the people.

Tucker tuttered,

Leo you're so stressful sometimes,

It stresses me out.

I'm going,

I'm gonna have a nice time,

You're gonna have a nice time,

We're gonna have a snow cone.

In fact,

First thing we'll do is find the snow cone machine or whatever it is that makes snow cones,

We'll go,

We'll go with the kids,

We'll say,

Kids we need a snow cone ASAP.

That's what we'll say and that's what they did.

When they got there and they met the kids,

It was really packed and really hot but it was a nice day because it was summertime.

The whole thing felt very summertimey,

You know when everyone smells like sun cream and they've got the sun hats on and the shorts and the flip flops.

It was kind of like that,

It felt good.

Tucker liked it anyway.

The kids led the dogs to where the snow cone machine was.

It was actually one big,

Massive,

Giant snowman and there was a guy there that was scraping parts of the snowman off to make the snow cone.

Tucker was appalled,

Oh what on earth is happening?

Somebody stop that man,

He's hurting the snowman.

Leo said,

What's going on?

The dogs didn't understand it at all.

Lee said,

It's okay,

It's just a snowman.

Tucker said,

Lee,

Lee have you not got a heart?

Do you not realise what is happening?

Lee looked at Tucker as if to say no,

The guy's just making snow cones.

But what about that snowman,

Lee?

He could probably feel every single scrape.

Lee said,

Tucker,

Snowmen aren't real,

They're just made of snow.

Leo said,

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to disagree.

Tucker said,

Yes I'm right there with you,

Leo.

Snowmen are very real,

I love you know,

They talk,

They feel things,

They can fly.

Me and Leo watched a video of a snowman flying through the sky and he was singing at the time.

Leo said,

Yes I remember that very,

Very clearly and since we've never actually met a snowman in the flesh before,

I think that they're very,

Very real.

Noah said,

No dogs,

No,

They're not real,

They're just made of ice.

When it snows in the sky it lands on the floor and then when it lands on the floor you roll a snowball and then you keep rolling it and then you make it bigger and bigger and bigger and then eventually you roll another snowball and you stick that big thing on top of that big thing and then you've got a head and a body and then you stick a carrot in its face and that's its nose and then you stick some stones or some coal on its eyes and that's its eyes and then you stick,

Stick,

Stick coal on its tummy and there it's buttons and then you use some twigs and you stick twigs in it and that's his arms.

Tucker said,

Stop,

Stop,

This is horrible,

It sounds like you're pulling the poor thing apart bit by bit and how do you know snowmen aren't real?

You go over to that snowman and ask him if he's enjoying being scraped for snow cones.

Lee said,

How about we go over and talk to the guy that's making the snow cones,

He'll tell you that that's not a real snowman.

Well,

Even if it was a real snowman it wouldn't feel anything because they're just made of snow.

No,

No,

No,

No,

No,

No,

No,

They're not,

They're feelings.

That snowman movie that we watched,

The snowman,

Right,

He was melting outside and,

And the little boy that made him forgot all about him and he left him out there,

Didn't he,

Left him out there,

Leo,

All by himself and he was melting and he was crying and he was so sad,

He was melting and crying and,

And snotting all over the place,

The poor thing.

Leo said,

Oh yeah,

It was awful.

One minute the boy and the snowman were the bestest of friends and then the next minute the boy just completely forgot about that snowman and left him to melt into a puddle.

LJ said,

Well doesn't that tell you that all they are is made of ice,

Otherwise they wouldn't melt into a puddle,

They'd have bones and hearts and lungs and things in there.

Tucker scratched his head on this thought.

But still that snowman felt everything,

Even if he was made of snow,

Maybe it's a very special snow and maybe that snow has feelings.

I'm not having a snow cone anymore,

I refuse.

Lee said,

Well I want a snow cone.

Noah said,

I do.

LJ said,

Yeah I do.

Leo and Tucker looked at each other and then decided to do a real protest.

Well if you guys have a snowman,

Snow cone,

Then we're not gonna be your friends.

Leo thought Tucker took it a bit far,

He was just thinking maybe they'd go quiet for a minute or two,

Not actually not be friends.

The kids all went,

Oh really?

Tucker said,

Well,

Well no,

No,

No because I really like you and I don't want to not be your friend but that's how much we think about this.

This is how much it means to me and Leo.

Me and Leo would be very upset if you ate that poor snowman.

I'm telling you,

You need to go over to that snowman and say to it,

Are you in pain snowman?

Do you need saving?

Lee said that she would agree to go over and ask the snowman and the guy making the snow cones or maybe she could ask the snowman while the guy making the snow cones was busy making snow cones if the snowman was real.

She went over to the snowman,

Stood next to it,

It was ginormous and then she waited.

She was like two or three kids in line behind.

She waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and then eventually the guy making the snow cone said,

Yes what can I get you?

She said,

Um well I was just wondering if this snow man is real.

Yes,

Yes my love,

It's made from snow.

No,

I mean like is this snowman alive?

What?

Said the man making the snow cones.

Are you serious?

It's a snowman.

Lee now very embarrassed said,

Yeah well I know that but our friends over there think that this snowman can feel you scraping snow off it because you could be hurting it.

The man said,

I'm sorry love but I haven't got time for this.

Look how many people are waiting for snow cones.

Lee turned around and looked behind her and there was a big long line so she just kind of stood to the side and and let the guy carry on with his job.

She could smell the cherry juice,

It smelled delicious.

Then he started scraping part of the snowman's tummy and the snowman was going,

Oh golly gosh,

Oh not that part of my tummy,

Oh gosh that tickles a bit under my armpit.

Lee could not believe it.

She went running over to Tucker and Leo,

Noah and LJ and announced what she just heard.

Tucker said,

Oh my goodness me what are we gonna do?

I told you,

I told you that poor snowman was in pain.

Leo said,

We're gonna have to help him escape.

LJ said,

How on earth are we gonna do that?

Noah just looked completely confused and then he said to Lee,

Are you joking?

Did that really happen?

Lee said,

I wish it hadn't but that's what I heard coming from the snowman.

Tucker said,

What if,

What if,

What if I just run at the snowman really fast and just knock it all over the floor?

Leo said,

Then you'd be killing the snowman.

Oh yes,

Yes,

Yes,

Yes that wouldn't work would it?

Well I was just thinking maybe like end it quickly you know,

Like you know just like that's it,

No more snow cones for anybody because the snow is all over the ground and now it's dirty and then,

Actually I'm on to something because then we could rebuild the snowman because everybody would walk away because there was no snow cone available anymore and the man that was making the snow cones would be out of a job and he'd be like oh,

Oh lovely I get to go home early and then,

And then we'll roll like,

Like,

Like,

Like Noah said we'll roll the,

Roll the snowman back up and,

And put him in the freezer so,

So he stays alive forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.

Noah said,

My mum's not gonna like that,

A freezer's not that big.

LJ said,

You can't do it in my fridge,

Mum,

Mum definitely won't like me.

Tucker said,

Well that's it then,

Chest freezer it is.

Right have we got a plan?

Because I think my mum won't mind if that snowman is in our chest freezer.

What do you think Leo?

Leo started shaking a little bit oh,

Oh I don't know.

It's his only option,

We have to save the snowman because he's been eaten alive as we speak.

They looked at the man making the snow cones and he was scraping part of the snowman's head off,

Poor thing,

Right where his ear was.

That's it,

They thought,

They had no choice,

They couldn't think of anything else to do,

So Tucker took ten paces back and he ran at the snowman as fast as he possibly could and knocked it everywhere,

All over the ground.

Poor Tucker heard this as the snowman fell everywhere and landed.

The man making the snow cones started shouting at first,

What on earth are you doing he said and then everyone in line went,

Oh there goes the snow cones and they all started walking off to get candy floss instead.

The man packed up his stuff and left.

Tucker was right,

He was actually quite happy about it because it was a really hot day and then the kids managed to find carrier bags from here,

There and everywhere and collect the snowman up and as they collected him up they put him into the bags and they went home to Tucker and Leo's house as quickly as possible.

At Tucker and Leo's house they laid out the snow on the garage floor and rolled it back up into a snowman shape that wasn't anything like he originally was but he still looked pretty good.

They stuck a carrot on his face,

Carved out a mouth and gave him some new ears.

Thanks,

Said the snowman.

I can hear again.

I thought I were a goner.

Tucker said,

I'm sorry I had to do that,

I was trying to save your life,

It was like a,

It was like a,

I don't know,

Just a last plea for life.

The snowman said,

Thanks so much.

That was horrible,

Horrible.

It was very ticklish as well.

I don't like being tickled,

It's the worst thing in the world.

I'd rather melt than be tickled.

The snowman said,

What are you gonna do with me now?

It's summer time.

Leo said,

Yes well,

We've decided we're gonna put you in the chest freezer and then when it becomes winter again we'll get you out and then you can go back in the garden and you won't melt.

Oh,

Said the snowman.

Will you guys come and visit me?

Oh yes,

Said Tucker.

I'm gonna be at here every single day talking to you through your little chest freezer.

I'm hoping mummy won't find any traces of you.

We might have to stick some frozen beans on top of you or something so that she doesn't notice.

Oh,

I'm okay with that.

It's better than being eaten alive.

Of course,

Said Leo.

Tucker said,

Yes of course,

Of course.

They put the snowman in the chest freezer and the kids and Tucker and Leo said goodbye to him.

And then eventually the kids had to go home.

Tucker and Leo laid on their bed later saying,

Wow,

What a day.

That was quite weird.

Tucker said,

I really don't think I'll ever eat a snow cone ever again.

Not now I've seen where they come from and what they're made of.

Leo said,

Definitely not.

That was poor snowman.

And then the doggies fell fast asleep on their comfortable,

Fluffy,

Warm dog bed.

I love sno cones and Tucker you did the right thing in that moment because if your imagination is like that it’s true and that means that snow men are real beings so if I find one I won’t let it melt I will… I will… I missed the whole part of the story didn’t I? I used to love flavored snow cones but now I just like the ice and on fridays at my school Kona ice comes and we can by snow cones and can you please make more hiedi cherry and vaya or the whole crew please and thank you
