Are you ready to meditate with Cori?

Make sure that you're snugly and warm and all cozy in your bed.

Check that the light is just right so that you can relax your body and let go of your busy day.

It was a rainy day.

Leo did not like rain.

Tucker loved rain.

Devon and Lily were at Tucker and Leo's house.

Tucker had called and asked him to come over because he was so bored.

He was playing outside on his own.

Do you know how boring that is?

Tucker especially thought it was very very boring.

Leo would not go outside because Leo was determined that he was allergic to the rain.

He told Tucker,

Tucker,

He said,

Do you know how many chemicals there are in rain?

Do you know how many pesticides and chemicals there are in rain?

Tucker said,

Oh Leo don't be silly.

There's no pesticles in rain.

Leo said,

Pesticides.

Pesticides are what are sprayed all over the vegetables and the fruit and then that gets into the soil and then sometimes that evaporates and somehow I don't know how but it gets into the rain.

Oh I like rain Leo.

There's nothing you can say,

Nothing you can do that's gonna put a Debbie Downer on my rain experience.

I really like rain and I don't mind those pesticles because you know what?

Every time I go outside right I do this,

I do this with my tongue.

Tucker stuck out his tongue as if he was trying to catch rain on his tongue.

Leo said,

Tucker that's disgusting.

You don't even know what you're eating.

Tucker said,

That's the least of my problems Leo.

I'll eat anything me.

You know what I'm like.

I'll eat absolutely anything.

The last thing I'm gonna be worrying about is what's in a raindrop.

Anyway it's so refreshing and it's lovely and it wets all your fur and then when you get super wet you can have like a shaking session and when you shake you shake it all off your body and then it gets really nice because then you feel clean and you feel like you've had a nice shower.

An earth mama shower that's what I like to say.

That's what I say Devon when you when you go outside and you get so wet in the rain and people go oh no it's raining outside it's awful.

I go oh you just had an earth mama shower.

Devon said,

Well that's a nice way of saying you get wet.

Lily said,

I'm with you Leo.

I really don't like the rain very much.

I don't know why you called me Tucker.

You could have called a friend that liked the rain.

Tucker said,

I called you Lily because you can play with Leo while I say I grab a hold of Devon's little sleeve and I grab it with my teeth and I take him outside and we play outside in the rain.

Right Devon is that alright with you because I've got all sorts of games lined up.

I've got pretend it's not raining game.

Devon said,

How do you pretend it's not raining Tucker?

Tucker said,

Well I like to just walk around as if it's not raining.

That's the game basically.

So yeah we can play that we can also play there's a giant hosepipe in the sky game.

I like to play that.

Devon said,

I think I might stay inside with Leo and Lily.

Tucker said,

Devon that's devastating.

You can't say that to me.

Not when I've called you purposely because you're my rain friend.

Don't you remember the last time it rained Devon when we played outside and it was so nice and we played there's a giant hosepipe in the sky.

Don't you remember?

Devon couldn't remember.

He just remembers being really,

Really wet and really,

Really cold.

He told Tucker that he didn't want to get really wet and really cold.

Tucker said,

Devon it's not cold outside.

It's one of those perfect days where it rains and it's warm.

I love those.

Those are my bestest,

Favouritest,

Most bestest,

Favouritest days ever.

Leo you got to go outside and smell it.

It smells so nice.

You know when it's nice and warm outside,

Right?

And the pavement's all warm and then it rains and it splashes on the warm pavement and you get this lovely aroma.

If I could bottle that aroma,

I would.

I'd bottle it and I'd sell it as aftershave.

That'd be really,

Really good.

I need to probably sell a lot because the places on earth that don't get warm weather and just get cold rainy days would then experience what it feels like to have a warm rainy day which is so completely different.

It's so completely different.

Leo looked at Lily and said,

Lily what do you want to do for the time that they're playing outside?

What should we do?

Lily said,

I say we cuddle under this blanket Leo and we watch a movie.

Something nice and relaxing and very calming.

What do you say?

Leo said,

Oh that's that's perfect Lily.

That sounds perfect because I can honestly smell the rain and the rain,

The smell of the rain is making me a little bit worried that I'm gonna come out in hives just smelling the rain.

Lily said,

Oh don't worry Leo,

I don't think you can get hives just by smelling something.

Leo said,

You can pass out by smelling nail polish remover.

Did you know that Lily?

Lily said,

Oh what what made you know that Leo?

Leo said,

Well it's happened to me before.

Tucker started laughing really,

Really loud.

I remember that.

I remember it so well.

Right,

We were playing and we got some friends over and we were playing Spa Day and one of our friends,

One of the girls,

She was painting Leo's nails,

Much to Leo's dismay and Leo was saying,

Oh the smell doesn't smell nice at all does it?

And the little girl was just ignoring him because she wanted to make him look all pretty and Leo kept saying,

Oh I really don't think I like that smell Vanessa.

And Vanessa kept saying,

Oh don't be upset with the smell Leo,

It's gonna be all worth it by the time your nails are done.

And then Leo kept going,

Oh no,

Oh no,

Oh no and then all of a sudden he just went to sleep.

I went over to Leo and I said,

Leo are you sleeping?

And Leo didn't answer me straight away and then I kind of hit him on the head with my paw and I said,

Leo what's wrong?

What's happening?

And Leo said,

What happened?

And I said,

What do you mean what happened?

What happened?

And Leo said,

I don't know what happened.

And I said,

Leo you're the only one that knows what's happened.

It was you that went to sleep.

Were you that relaxed Leo?

Leo,

When he came round,

Shook his head and he said,

I didn't go to sleep.

He didn't have any recollection at all of the fact that the fumes from the nail polish and the nail polish remover had made him faint.

They found out later that it's always best to paint your nails near a window or somewhere in a room that's well ventilated because that smell is quite intense.

Lily was shocked.

She didn't know that you could faint from just painting your nails.

Then she had this question,

Well what about the women that work in those nail places all day?

What do they do?

Tucker said,

Oh they're just not allergic.

They're not like Leo.

They're just not allergic.

You know,

I bet you any money that they actually like the smell of something or maybe it just doesn't affect their brains the way that it affects Leo's brain.

Leo's got a very sensitive brain.

Actually,

Leo's very sensitive everywhere.

Leo's got sensitive paws.

He's got sensitive fur.

He's got sensitive skin.

Leo's got very sensitive teeth.

Sometimes if he bites something that's too odd,

It's very sensitive for him.

He gets like shock waves going through his teeth and that makes him want to go to the dentist but then Leo's allergic to the dentist so he doesn't go to the dentist.

But yeah,

Like Leo's just so sensitive whereas me,

I don't think I'm very sensitive at all.

Anyway,

Devon,

Come on,

Let's go play outside.

Tucker put his teeth around Devon's arm,

The sleeve on his sweatshirt and he pulled him outside.

It was really raining quite heavy.

Leo and Lily looked out of the window at them both.

They looked pretty crazy actually.

They were already very,

Very wet.

Tucker was running around in circles,

Wagging his tail as frantically as he possibly could,

Completely in his element with his tongue sticking out trying to catch as much rain as possible.

I'm drinking gallons and gallons of it.

How much do you think you've got?

Devon was spinning around in a circle with his tongue out trying to catch rain just like Tucker.

Leo looked at Lily and said they were made for each other.

Lily decided that she wanted to watch a girly movie.

Leo didn't quite understand what that meant so he agreed and then once they started watching he realised to him it was just a load of dribble.

To Lily she thought it was awesome.

The movie was like a rom-com and it was about this girl and this boy and they were in high school and they fell in love and they had the bestest time but at first they didn't like each other but then of course later on in the movie they loved each other and they fell in love but at first they always start where they don't like each other or they're like the worst enemies in the world or something like that.

Basically the same story as every other rom-com.

Leo nonetheless stayed with Lily.

Lily was chilled out on the sofa with the blanket and he was laid right there next to her and she was all nice and warm and he really liked the smell of her shampoo so he was happy enough.

Her shampoo smelt like violets and oatmeal for some reason.

He liked both of those things.

Two things that he wasn't allergic to.

Ever so often there would be a loud barking outside where Tucker was doing something crazy.

At one point he was running back and forward on the stone wall that they had out there on the back garden,

Barking at the top of his lungs making every other dog in the neighbourhood bark.

So all the dogs were barking.

Lily said,

What they all barking at?

Leo said,

Oh he's talking to them all.

He's telling them all to chase the tails,

Catch the rain on the tongue and pretend that the rain is coming down from a giant hose pipe.

Basically all the dogs on the street are doing the same as Tucker.

Lily started laughing and turned around and looked at Leo and said,

Really?

Leo said,

Oh I don't know.

I'm just making it up.

I tried to listen to what they were saying back to Tucker but I can't really make it out.

There's too many of them barking all at the same time.

But knowing the dogs that live on this street,

Probably most of them are pretending that the rain's coming down from a giant hose pipe.

Lily looked at Leo and said,

What do you actually do when you pretend that the rain's coming down from the sky from a giant hose pipe?

She walked over to the window to watch what Tucker was doing.

Tucker was doing this thing where he shakes his head as if he's got a hose pipe in front of him trying to catch the water but he was just shaking his head everywhere in any general direction as if he was just catching it coming from the sky and at the same time he was growling like that.

Devon thought it was absolutely hilarious and he was trying to copy what Tucker was doing but he was too busy laughing.

At one point Devon had to come in and go to the restroom because he thought he was going to pee himself.

It was so funny.

While Devon was in the house he tried not to go back outside because he was absolutely wet through even though he was still nice and warm.

He came in the living room and sat down for a little bit on a towel so he didn't wet the sofa.

Then he realised what Lily was watching and decided he wasn't in the mood for a rom-com.

He'd rather be outside playing with Tucker.

Leo needed to pee.

How do you go outside when you're a dog that's allergic to the rain when you need to pee on the back garden?

This became a whole new dilemma until Lily remembered that she came over with an umbrella.

Very smart.

And she basically walked Leo onto the back garden so he could pee under the umbrella.

He did get a few splashes of water on him but nothing too dramatic.

And then he came back inside.

And then eventually Devon and Tucker came back inside.

Tucker shook all over the kitchen which his mum was not happy about.

She spent 10 minutes wiping it off all the kitchen cabinets and the walls and everywhere else.

Devon told everyone he needed to go home because he was wet through and he wanted to go home and have a shower and get changed.

And Lily said goodbye too.

It ended up being a really nice rainy day.

Even though Leo's allergic to the rain,

Tucker had an awesome time.

What a fun day Leo,

He said as he laid on the bed next to him kept thinking about his day and what they've been doing.

It was so much fun with Devon.

I really like Devon.

He's one of my favourite friends.

He's crazy like me.

I like it when someone's crazy like yourself because then you don't feel so crazy.

You actually end up feeling really normal.

Leo rolled his eyes at the thought of Tucker being normal.

But then who's to say Leo is normal?

They eventually got settled down and comfortable on their bed and they snuggled in together and ended up having a really nice nap.

I like rain but then I don't. Reason one: I like rain because you get to stay inside all day and relax. Reason two: I don't like rain because if I go outside and don't have an umbrella I'm going to get wet. I rather stay inside and relax at home when it rains.

That was nice our summer in New Zealand has just been raining and lightning but me and my family are going to a place called figi can you do one we’re tucker and Leo go there we can pat tuterls and there’s a massage place and big beach with two pools
