Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

Climb up into your bed and make sure that you're super comfortable.

Try and get out all of the wiggles and giggles,

No moving around,

No running around your room.

It's time to be still and quiet and that way you can start to relax your body and let go of your busy,

Busy day.

It was a hot summer's day.

Tucker and Leo had been hanging out in their garden on the front with some of their friends.

Noah,

Annabelle and Cora,

Geneva,

Zen and Nevi had all come over to play.

They got one of the water sprinklers on so that they could run in and out of it and play in the water just to try and cool them down a little bit.

The street where Tucker and Leo lived was quite a quiet street so the kids basically had it all to themselves.

Tucker and Leo's mum had moved all the cars off the driveway so that they could play on the drive and the grass and have a lot of fun on this hot summer's day.

Tucker had a really long tongue.

It was sticking out.

He was panting a lot.

Oh,

It's so hot,

Leo.

It's so hot.

Oh,

Geneva,

Come here.

Come here and blow on my face,

Please,

Will you?

Geneva came over to Tucker and started blowing on his face.

Oh,

That's nice.

That's so nice,

G.

That's so nice,

My G.

Oh,

My G,

That's lovely,

Said Tucker.

Zen was trying to collect water from the water sprinkler in a bucket.

He got it about halfway full.

He came over and poured it all over Tucker's head.

Oh,

Zen,

That's delicious,

Said Tucker.

Nevi said,

I want an ice cream.

Noah,

Annabel,

Cora,

Geneva,

Zen,

And now Tucker and Leo.

All thought ice creams were a very good idea.

Leo said,

Luckily for me,

I'm not allergic to ice cream.

I'm going to go ask mum if we can all have an ice cream.

Annabel and Cora said that they would go with him.

They wanted to check if they did have ice cream,

What flavours they had,

Because Annabel was particularly interested in whether they had strawberry and Cora was particularly interested in whether they had chocolate.

Noah shouted that he wanted vanilla,

But he wanted chocolate syrup on it.

Leo said,

Don't get too excited yet,

Guys.

Don't even know if we have any ice cream.

Oh,

If we don't have ice cream,

If we don't have ice cream,

That's the end of my world.

Zen,

My friend,

Go fill that bucket up and make it so it's even fuller,

Because I'm waiting for my shower.

I'm waiting for my,

My,

My,

My Zen shower.

Zen started to fill his bucket close to the sprinkler once again.

Everyone waited outside for quite some time and then Leo came outside and gave everyone the bad news.

They didn't have ice cream.

Neve said,

Am I supposed to have an ice cream cone if I don't have ice cream?

Tucker said,

I know,

Right?

It's redonkulous.

Leo said,

Mum said we had cream.

Tucker said,

Cream?

What's cream got to do with,

Oh,

Wait a minute,

Ice cream.

Oh,

Oh.

Annabelle said,

We could make his own ice cream.

Geneva said,

Yeah,

That would be a lot of fun.

I saw that once on a TV program.

Apparently you just put it in some kind of container and put ice in another container and you put the container in the ice container and then you just shake it a lot and you shake it and shake it and shake it.

We can all take turns shaking it.

Does mum have any vanilla?

Leo said to Tucker.

Tucker said,

I don't know.

Go and ask her.

Leo went back inside of the house and then a couple of minutes later,

It came out with a Tupperware with the cream inside.

Mum had put some maple syrup and some vanilla and a little tiny bit of salt inside of it as well.

And then she put it inside of another bigger Tupperware container surrounded by ice.

Now all we have to do is shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake your booty,

Shake your booty,

Said Tucker.

Because G and Zen and Nevi all like to dance.

They were already dancing to Tucker singing his song,

Whittling their bums around.

Annabelle started shaking it first.

This is what you do,

She said.

She held it with both of her hands and started shaking it.

Tucker said,

I think we need some music.

I think we need some tunes.

We need some music,

Definitely.

If we're going to be doing lots and lots and lots of shaking.

Leo said,

I'll ask mum.

He went back in the house and when he came outside,

He had a small little boogie box.

He put it on the table near the front door and pressed play.

Classical music started to play.

Annabelle said,

This is no good.

This music does not work for shaking.

Leo changed it.

Then it was rap music.

Tucker said,

Oh,

I like this.

I think I can shake to this.

Tucker started shaking the ice cream container.

Shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake,

Shake.

He was rolling around on his back,

Shaking it above his head on the ground.

And then he switched legs and he started shaking it with his back legs.

And then he was shaking it again with his front legs.

And then he was shaking it again with his back legs.

I'm tired,

He said as he passed it off to Cora.

Cora started shaking.

I don't like rap,

Cora said.

Leo went over and changed the music again.

This time,

He found the perfect song.

Taylor started singing.

I stay out too late.

Got nothing on my brain.

She was singing the Shake It Off song.

Everyone started jumping around all over the place.

Nevi knew a few words to this song,

So she was singing.

And then Cora got tired and passed it on to Noah.

Noah said,

Do we have to listen to Taylor Swift?

Leo sighed,

Went over and changed the music again.

He found something that Noah liked and Noah started shaking.

Shaking and shaking and shaking.

Geneva had a turn,

Shaking and shaking and shaking.

Zen had a turn,

Shaking and shaking and shaking.

Making your own ice cream takes so much shaking,

Shaking and shaking and shaking.

And then Nevi had a turn.

Nevi's only tiny,

She only could do so much shaking,

But she did as much as she could.

Shaking and shaking and shaking,

Jumping and dancing and shaking.

It was back around so that they had to do it all over again and take turns and then all over again and then take turns and then all over again and then take turns.

Annabelle checked it at one point and it was almost ready.

It was just still a bit too runny and mushy.

So they had to do it all over again and take turns.

By the time the homemade vanilla with maple syrup ice cream was ready,

They were pooped.

They were all now sat on a picnic blanket on the grass,

Trying to get their breaths.

All of them absolutely cream crackered.

Leo went inside and then came back out with eight spoons.

They decided they were just going to share out of the same dish.

They didn't mind until they saw Tucker.

Tucker and his ginormous tongue.

It was quite scary how much slather could probably be on Tucker's spoon.

And then it was probably dripping off his spoon and they didn't want to really risk mixing that with the ice cream.

So Leo went back inside and his mum helped him to bring out eight bowls and they divided it eight ways so that they could all eat the homemade ice cream.

Leo's mum also brought out some cones in case they wanted to have an ice cream cone.

Nevi announced two minutes in that that was the bestest ice cream that she'd ever tasted.

And everyone agreed.

Tucker said,

There's something about making your own ice cream that makes it taste absolutely delicious.

It was delicioso.

It was absolutely stupendous.

It was the bestest ice cream I've ever tasted.

He had it all around his mouth.

Leo said,

Tucker,

You've got it all over your face.

Tucker said,

I'm saving that bit for later.

After a while,

They'd all finished with the ice cream or the ice cream cone.

It was time to play again.

It was still a glorious hot summer day.

About half an hour later,

Tucker's dad came home.

He'd been food shopping.

He opened up the back of the car and brought in a lot of bags.

He announced on his way past that he'd bought ice cream.

Oh no,

Said Tucker.

Why didn't you tell us that two hours ago?

We'd be making homemade ice cream for two hours.

I've got biceps bigger than coconuts.

It's so big.

Look at Geneva's biceps.

Geneva's got coconuts.

Zen's got coconuts.

Cora and Annabelle all have coconuts.

Nevi has.

.

.

Let me look at your little muscles,

Nevi.

Yes,

I think you've got grapefruits.

It would have been so much nicer if you'd have come home earlier and get us the ice cream when we needed it.

We were all sweating and melting like snowmen out here.

And then,

And then mummy never said that you'd gone food shopping.

And then,

If you'd have told us that you were going to go get ice cream,

We would have made ice cream.

Tucker's dad shrugged and carried on carrying all the bags into the house.

But luckily for everyone there,

Around two of ice cream didn't sound so bad.

Leo came outside with strawberry and chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

Each flavour,

It was Neapolitan flavour.

Everyone was very,

Very happy about that.

So they all had another ice cream cone.

And then they played for the longest time.

Zen kept filling his bucket and throwing it on the table.

Everyone was so happy about it.

Nevi,

Geneva,

Annabelle and Cora were all dancing and running in and out of the sprinklers.

And Noah was hanging out with Leo.

He was talking about his day,

His life,

Just stuff.

School,

You know,

Told him about a book he got from the library,

Told him about a new friend he'd made at school.

And Leo was just listening.

He was in the shade.

Too much sun is not good for Leo.

It makes him overheat and not feel so great.

And also Leo was like the sunscreen police.

He kept making sure that everybody had got sunscreen on because it was such a hot day.

And then after a while,

It was time for the kids to all go home.

Tucker's mum and dad dried them off with a big towel.

And then they got comfortable on the dog bed.

Tucker shared about the fact that ice cream makes him toot.

I can't help it,

Leo.

I've been tooting all day.

I think it's the dairy.

I think the dairy is not very good for my digestion.

And yes,

Well,

Sorry if I toot while I'm asleep,

Leo.

I am completely out of control of the fact that my little bum wants to toot when I'm asleep.

And I prefer to toot while I'm asleep anyway,

Because then I don't feel so embarrassed about it because I don't even know I'm tooting.

So yeah.

Leo agreed that ice cream makes his belly feel funny too.

So maybe they'll be tooting together.

Then they started laughing,

Wondering if Noah and Annabelle and Cora,

Geneva,

Zen and Nevi were all tooting too,

Since they'd all had double ice cream cones.

And then finally,

They settled down.

They were tired.

It was time for a really good nap.

They snuggled in together.

They closed their eyes.

And ended up falling fast asleep.

Story Time!
The boy and the thunderstorm.
Max shrugged and whent outside to play. His tummy didn't feel good. He thought it was because he had just eaten and was full. He ignored the pain and slowly walked into the forest admiring the nature as he walked past. He saw destroyed flowers wich made him mad. He turned to a perfectly good flower and stood on it. A bird swooped over Max's head. He angrily said " Hey watch it you stupid bird." The bird looked at him and chirped loudly. Max walked away with his head held hie and eyes shut closed. He frowned and kept walking. Max herd the wonderful song of a bird. It reminded him of his favorite song by One direction. The song was called " What makes you beautiful" Max was singing to himself " You don't kno-o-ow! You don't know you're beautifu-u-ul! You don't know you're beautiful. The way you light up my world like nobody else. The way you smile at the ground makes it hard to tell, you Don kno-o-ow, You don't know you're beautifu-u-ul." And over and over again. When he got home, he whent upstairs to his room and had a dance party with his toys. He was jumping, thumping and waving his hands around. He Sung " You don't kno-o-ow, You don't know you're beautifu-u-ul, you don't know you're beautiful!" His mum came up and creeked the door open and said " Can you turn the volume down?" Max sadly turned his volume down and continued dancing. He shut the door and waved his arms to close to the really expensive lamp. He accidentally wacked it as it fell and smashed on the carpeted floor. Max's mum herd it and came up. She opened the door and looked at the smashed lamp. His mum became angry as her face turned boiling red. She yelled at him " YOU'RE GROUNDED FOR A MONTH!" Tears filled Max's eyes as he flopped down on his bed. Max's mum slammed the door behind her as she stomped down the stairs. Cloe-Fluffy floated down and said in an angry voice " You ought to be ashamed of yourself." Max said " I am! I realy am!" Cloe-Fluffy sat down beside Max to comfort him.
