This Awesome, Fun Bedtime Story For Kids is about that time when Tucker Leo, and Mr Kitty, was going to Big Bear to go Skiing. They invited Heidi Cherry and Vaya to go too. Mr Kitty shocks everyone when he falls in love with??????

Are you ready to meditate with Cori?

Make sure that you're all snugly and quiet and calm in your bed.

Try and stay as still as you can so hopefully and eventually you'll fall asleep while you listen to the story.

Tucker and Leo had been living with Mr.

Kitty for quite some time now.

It had gotten to the point where Mr.

Kitty came downstairs quite frequently.

No problem.

Tucker still got too excited,

Too loud,

Wanted to lick him and chew him and play with him and Mr.

Kitty didn't want any of it.

The whole time Leo would just lay on his bed and watch,

Probably thinking that Tucker was crazy for even trying.

Mr.

Kitty was a brave cat.

He would just sit there and meow and somehow he did a certain meow and a certain facial expression that let Tucker know that he best not mess with Mr.

Kitty.

Because Tucker would magically just kind of turn around and walk away as if to say,

Oh,

Why won't you play with me?

I'm not going to eat you.

I'm not going to bite you.

I just want to play now.

I mean,

You've been living here a long time and we're practically friends and all and like,

You know,

It'd be really nice if you just would let me,

Let me sniff you really closely.

Like maybe,

Maybe put my nose all over you and just like sniff at you,

But you won't.

Every time I come a little bit close,

You just bash me on the nose.

You're so mean,

Mr.

Kitty.

You're so mean.

Anyway,

That's where they were at.

They decided one day that they were going to go skiing.

Well,

Tucker and Leo's mum and dad decided that they were going to go skiing.

They were going to take Isabelle skiing and Isabelle was Mr.

Kitty's mummy.

So they were all going to go and drive up to Big Bear because there was snow on the mountains up there.

They were going to stay in a cabin and,

You know,

Ski and just do nice things,

Go for hikes,

Go for nice wrapped up woolly hat walks,

Have log fires and make hot chocolate and all that nice stuff.

Tucker's mum and dad had told Tucker and Leo that they could invite Heidi,

Cherry and Veya since Heidi,

Cherry and Veya were practically living at their house lately.

Mum and dad had got no clue that it was because of Mr.

Kitty.

And even though Leo and Tucker vaguely had an idea,

They weren't really that bothered.

They just enjoyed seeing Heidi,

Cherry and Veya as often as they were doing it lately.

Everyone was in the car driving up to Big Bear.

The four cats were all on the back back seat.

Leo and Tucker and Isabelle were on the second row of seats and mum and dad were up front driving the car.

It took quite a few hours to get to Big Bear and the ride was fun,

You know.

Cherry was in the back talking to Mr.

Kitty about how good she was at skiing.

OMG!

OMG!

Oh,

I'm so good.

I'm so good.

I mean,

I've only ever done it once before.

I don't know when it was.

I think I was really small when it happened.

But yeah,

Yeah,

I mean,

It might have actually been just not actually skiing but like going down a hill really fast,

Sliding on my paws by accident.

But it felt like skiing.

And it was this one time right when it snowed and I was like,

OMG,

What is snow?

Because you know like the first time you ever see snow you're like,

Holy moly,

That's cold.

You know when you put your feet on it.

It's like,

Like that,

Right?

So yeah,

So anyway,

I didn't realise that,

You know,

Snow on hills are slidy sometimes,

Especially if there's been a bunch of kids like sliding before you got there.

Well,

Beknownst to me,

I'm walking along the top of this hill and all of a sudden I start slipping down the hill,

Slipping as fast as,

Oh,

I was slipping so fast,

So fast.

My nose were running.

They were like snot bubbles flying out my nose because I was going so fast and I got a runny nose because it was so cold outside.

You know how that is.

Mr.

Kitty looked at her and swallowed deeply as if to say,

That sounds pretty gross.

I don't know how that is.

But he didn't say anything.

He just let Cherry carry on talking away.

Like,

You know,

She not even realised that she just shared about snot bubbles.

She didn't even think about that.

So yeah,

So like I've got snot bubbles all over my face and I'm sliding down this hill,

But I managed to stay up the whole time and I was like,

OMG,

I can ski.

So yeah,

I can't wait to get on the slopes.

That's what they say.

To get on the slopes,

Maybe do some little like bunny jumps and stuff like that.

Heidi said,

It might be actually different to be on skis,

To really like truly ski,

Cherry.

It might not be that easy.

Cherry said,

Have you done it before,

Heidi?

Heidi said,

No,

I haven't.

Cherry said,

Well,

Then keep your thoughts to yourself,

Please.

Yeah,

So I think I'm going to be so good.

Veya was quiet.

She was staring out the window,

Looking at the scenery,

Thinking about all the beautiful trees.

All of the nice hills around that were up there in Big Bear,

Rather than the city down below.

She was thinking to herself that she would prefer to live in the country.

It's so nice,

She kept saying,

Looking out the window.

Oh,

It's so nice.

Tucker and Leo's windows were down and they both got their noses and their heads sticking out of the windows.

And Tucker kept slathering all over the place and it kept flying back and hitting Cherry in the face.

Cherry was not happy with that.

OMG,

Tucker,

Control your saliva glands.

Tucker turned around and said,

What?

Got absolutely no clue what he was doing.

There was slather all over the window.

I can't help myself.

It's just that it's so windy out.

You try sticking your nose and your head out of the window when it's going as fast as it is outside.

You try it.

I just heard you talking about schnop bubbles.

I at least got schnop bubbles,

Scary cat.

Cherry then realised talking about schnop bubbles with Mr Kitty was probably not the most cutest thing that she could have been talking about.

And she went a little bit pink in the cheeks.

But then to deflect her embarrassment,

She started to pick on Tucker again.

OMG,

Tucker,

Seriously though.

I mean,

It's like I've been in a shower of Tucker slather back here.

Look at me.

I've got a middle parting and that wet.

Mr Kitty chuckled because he thought that was funny.

Not that she had got a middle parting,

But to see Cherry with a middle parting would probably be really funny.

Tucker turned around and looked at Mr Kitty and said,

Oh,

I do like it when you're happy,

Mr Kitty.

I think maybe me and you could do some skiing together when we get up there on those hills.

You know,

Maybe I'll be able to help you.

I could hold your hand or I could just like gently hold you in my teeth.

I wouldn't bite you.

I wouldn't.

I wouldn't.

Leo said,

Oh,

Just leave it,

Tucker.

I don't think Mr Kitty ever wants to be really good friends with you.

Mr Kitty just kind of snarled at Tucker.

You really didn't like Tucker.

He didn't mind Leo,

But he really didn't like Tucker.

Poor Tucker.

Tucker,

Being who he is,

A little bit simple,

Didn't really notice the snarl so much and tried again.

I could hold your paws and I could even,

Oh,

You know what we could do,

Mr Kitty?

You could even ride on my back like a piggyback,

But you wouldn't be a piggyback.

It would be a kittyback.

A kittyback.

Well,

You could do a kittyback on my back.

And then,

And then,

Is that actually what they do?

Is that where the name came from?

Piggyback?

Is it because piggies ride on your back?

Heidi said,

No,

No,

Tucker.

At least I don't think so.

I think it's just a saying.

Oh,

Because that would be really fun.

Can you imagine doing like,

Doing like skiing with a piggy on your back?

That would be really fun.

Probably for you,

Said Leo.

But I think I'm probably allergic to pigs.

Yeah,

Definitely.

Yeah,

Not for me.

Eventually,

They did get to Big Bear.

They checked into their cabin.

They were in the quaintest log cabin.

And it had a fireplace.

The first thing Tucker's mum and dad did was light a fire and put loads of logs on there so it got all warm.

And the fireplace was crackly and calming and really nice to watch.

And then they all went and got changed into their ski gear.

All the waterproof trousers and jackets and goggles and woolly hats and gloves and everything else because it was bliming cold up there.

And then they went to rent their skis.

And they all started on the beginner hill.

Instantly,

Mr Kitty went off.

Like he'd done it before.

The sneaky thing had never said a word to anyone about how good he was at skiing.

Cherry just looked at him flying off with snow mist fluffing all around behind him as he went.

Well,

I never,

Said Cherry.

Blobby no!

OMG!

All the way here I've been talking about how good I am at skiing and he never said a word.

He's so,

So delicious.

Heidi and Veya all watched him disappear as well.

Sigh,

Said Veya.

Heidi was too busy trying to figure out how to put her ski goggles over her glasses so that she could see what she was doing at least.

She looked really funny because her ski goggles had to be bigger than everyone else's.

So it looked like she'd got these giant big eyeballs.

Which everybody had a good laugh at.

Mr Coker was terrible already.

He was flying all over and his legs were going up in the air and he kept flying and falling down on his back.

He was like slipping as if he was just on the most slippiest,

Slippiest ice.

And they'd not even started yet.

He was blundering and falling and he kept going,

Ooooh,

Ooooh!

By the time he got up,

Thinking he was up for at least a good second or two,

But then he was back down,

Slipping like banana slips.

With his legs flying up and he'd land on his bum and then he'd laugh and get back up and try again.

Poor thing.

He was exhausted and he'd not even started skiing yet.

Leo was frozen.

Frozen with fear.

Oh,

I don't think I want to do this.

Tucker said,

Come on,

It's going to be fun!

And then he slipped and fell again.

Oh no,

I really,

Really don't.

I don't think I want to do it,

Tucker.

I think,

I think,

I think I'm just going to go and maybe go into the main,

You know,

The main area where you can get a cup of hot chocolate and stuff.

I think,

I think I'm just going to go there because,

Oh yeah,

Definitely not for me.

Leo kicked off his skis.

He was sweating profusely under all of his ski gear and he'd not even moved around in it yet.

The sweaty,

Waterproof,

Plastic clothes that he was wearing were making him really,

Really sweaty.

And that was making him itchy.

And then that was making him have hives underneath all of that because he was stressed about thinking about going down the hills.

Oh,

Yeah.

He kicked off his skis and said goodbye to everyone and told them he'd see them later.

And he went into the big main area where they had like a shopping area where you could buy snacks and things and buy coffees and hot chocolates and all of that.

And with some nice tables.

That's what he was going to do.

Heidi,

Cherry and Rhea started down the beginner hill.

Tucker was still at the top.

He was just like falling all over the place.

They just left him there,

Assuming that he'd figure it out.

Or that someone had probably feel sorry for him and help him.

But it wasn't going to be them because they were closely on the heels of Mr.

Kitty if they could find him.

That was their intention.

The cats finally made it alive down to the bottom of the beginner slope.

Mr.

Kitty was down there already.

They all pulled up.

Cherry was bright pink in the cheeks and Rhea was.

Heidi wasn't pink so much but Rhea and Cherry were very pink in the cheeks.

Like the cold had changed their ginger and their white fur a little bit.

And they were blushing and they were all misty and just dewy looking.

Rhea skied over to Mr.

Kitty and said.

Oh my,

You were really good at this.

How come you didn't say anything?

Mr.

Kitty said.

Well,

You know,

I just am.

Heidi skied over to Mr.

Kitty and pulled off her ginormous goggles so that she looked a little bit more appropriate.

She looked at him and said.

You got down there so fast.

Mr.

Kitty said.

Yeah,

Yeah.

Well,

It's the beginner slope.

Not trying to make anyone feel bad about the fact that they couldn't ski.

But he was just stating a fact that it was the beginner slope.

So he was really good anyway.

So the beginner slope was just kind of like a warm up for him.

And then he stared off and squinted his eyes as if he was looking at something coming down the hill.

Cherry noticed and she looked at the hill.

She was noticing because Mr.

Kitty wasn't staring at her.

She was thinking to herself.

Oh,

Jay,

Why is he not staring at me?

What's he doing looking up that hill?

She saw something coming down the hill really,

Really fast.

Something white,

Maybe with like grey stripes or spots.

It was hard to see.

But it was definitely white.

Well,

Its face was white,

But the rest of it was like bright neon pink.

Whatever it was,

Was wearing a pink ski suit.

It was coming down so fast.

That's what Mr.

Kitty was staring at.

And then the pink thing got closer and closer and closer and closer and closer and closer.

Until it did this turn to the side and then shh with its skis.

And this big,

Big cloud of snow flew up and landed all over Heidi,

Cherry and Veya.

And literally covered them from head to toe.

The pink thing with the white head took off its glasses and said,

Oh,

I'm so sorry.

Heidi,

Cherry and Veya wiped the snow off the faces,

Shook themselves and looked at this cat.

It was a cat.

Looked at this cat as if to say,

Oh,

Jay,

What the heck,

Dude?

That's what Cherry was thinking,

But she didn't say anything.

And then the cat lifted up her goggles and put them on her forehead.

And she was absolutely gorgeous.

She looked like one of those,

Are they Bengal cats?

Or,

You know,

The ones that look like leopards with spots and they're slinky and kind of cute looking.

She was one of those.

Mr.

Kitty's mouth felt open.

She was a brilliant skier.

She might have even been better than him.

She looked at the cats that she covered in snow.

Heidi was still wiping her glasses,

Trying to focus on what she looked like.

Veya said,

Oh,

Oh,

It's OK.

You're very fast.

She looked at Veya and said,

Oh,

Yes,

I'm so sorry.

That's how I slow down.

That's when you're skiing so fast and you have to do that.

Unfortunately,

I didn't see you ladies there.

Mr.

Kitty's mouth fell open even more.

Great skiing,

He said.

Oh,

Thanks,

She said.

I've been skiing my whole life.

Oh,

Cherry was squirming inside.

She could see how Mr.

Kitty was looking at this thing.

Cherry said,

OMG,

I thought I was dead there for a second.

Everything went completely white.

I mean,

I was like,

Oh,

Is this heaven?

And then I thought,

Oh,

It's not.

It's snow.

And then the cat said,

Like again,

I said,

So sorry.

But she really was nice.

She meant it.

She wasn't being funny about it or anything.

And Cherry felt that.

Cherry felt that this cat really didn't mean to cover them in snow.

It was an accident.

So she calmed down a little bit and she said,

OMG,

It's OK.

You were really good,

Though.

Wow,

You were so fast.

Saw you coming down there and you like a pink flash of light coming down the hill.

And then I was like,

What is that thing?

And then before I knew it,

You were there covering us in snow.

Covering us in snow.

Anyway,

Yeah.

What's your name?

She said her name was Tigress.

Tigress,

Said Cherry.

Tigress.

Wow,

What a lovely name.

Oh,

It's so nice.

It's like you sound like a movie star or something.

Where do you live?

Do you live in L.

A.

?

Do you live in L.

Do you have lots of followers?

Are you really popular or something?

I feel like I know you.

Tigress.

Tigress.

Have you been in like music videos and stuff?

Because I know.

I think I've seen you before.

She had been in music videos.

She was staying in L.

But she didn't live in L.

She was actually from Sweden.

She didn't sound Swedish because she'd been away from Sweden a really long time.

And she'd been in L.

A.

For like forever.

Just making it big.

Tigress,

Said Cherry once again.

She looked at Heidi and said,

My name's just Cherry.

Tigress is so fancy.

It's like,

She just sounds like a fancy lady,

Doesn't she?

She sounds like,

I don't know,

A glamorous movie star or something.

I'm a little bit jealous.

This is all happening while Mr.

Kitty is still staring at her with his mouth wide open.

By now,

She looks at Mr.

Kitty and she says,

Are you okay?

Mr.

Kitty gets himself together and said,

Oh yeah,

Yeah.

I was just like really impressed with how good you ski.

Tigress said,

Thanks.

Well,

You know,

I was just about to go to another slope if you want to go.

Mr.

Kitty said,

Leaving Heidi,

Cherry and Faya just stood there with their mouths open.

Now it was their time to be in shock.

Faya said,

Heidi said,

Cherry said,

She stomped her foot.

Heidi said,

Faya is amazing.

Just because he's fallen in love with Tigress doesn't mean that's anything bad against us.

Cherry said,

Oh,

Gee,

You're right.

Thanks for that.

Thanks for that sanity check.

Heidi,

I was going to go all insecure about myself then for a second.

But you know,

You know me,

I'm absolutely amazing.

I'm so cool.

I'm awesome me.

I'm awesome I am.

I'm going to be like Cherry for president one day.

And if that guy don't want me,

Then shame on him.

Because it's his loss,

Girls.

Faya,

Heidi and Cherry all high-fived each other.

They decided to pull themselves together,

Get a grip,

Put the goggles back on and go down the second hill,

Which was quite a challenge for those three.

But they did it and they had so much fun on the way down.

They kept falling and laughing at each other.

And then they'd sit halfway up the hill for a while and just like talk and chat.

And then they get back up and ski a little bit some more.

And then eventually they got down there.

Throughout the day there,

Everyone seemed to kind of just go off and do their own thing.

But that night they all met back in the place that sell the hot chocolates.

And everyone sat around a big giant table,

Including Tigress,

Mr Kitty,

That invited her to meet the rest of the family.

Tooker said,

Oh,

You look lovely and delicious.

You do smell so nice.

You smell so nice.

You know,

What do you wear because you smell lovely?

She said that she wore one of Taylor Swift's fragrances.

Oh,

That's nice.

Tooker kept saying it,

Kept sniffing her when she wasn't looking.

But he did it really loud.

So she noticed every single time he did it.

He looked like this strange,

Weird dog that just kept sniffing her.

But she didn't say anything.

She was quite polite about it.

Leo smiled at her and said hello and introduced himself.

But that's about it.

Leo really didn't mind either way who she was or what she was.

Mr Kitty chattered and chattered and chattered and told her his whole life,

Basically.

She was the same with him and they were getting on like a house on fire.

The next day,

They all had a lot of fun skiing once again.

But that afternoon they had to go home.

Mr Kitty was not happy about it.

Tigress was staying there for a few more days and then she was going to go back to LA.

She had to do a photo shoot that she'd been booked for,

For a modeling gig that she got.

Even though LA wasn't that far away from where they lived,

It was about three hours or so drive.

It felt like she was going back to Sweden.

They decided that they would call each other and FaceTime and talk and write and do all of that stuff because they really did get on really well.

Mr Kitty was super quiet on the way home.

And Cherry was trying to tell him all her favorite jokes and make him laugh.

They kind of all decided that they were just friends now,

Obviously.

But they were all just friends.

They kind of all decided that they were just friends now,

Because Mr Kitty was in love with Tigress.

Which was nice because now they could just chill out and just be themselves around Mr Kitty.

They did end up cheering him up and they had a lot of fun on the way home.

And a couple of times Mr Kitty was okay with Tucker getting really,

Really close for a sniff.

Maybe he knew Mr Kitty,

Knew and improved because he was in love,

Was a bit more relaxed about things.

Anyway,

When they got home,

Everyone was so pooped.

The cats said goodbye to Tucker and Leo and Mr Kitty and they went home.

And then Tucker and Leo laid down on their big,

Soft,

Comfortable bed.

Mr Kitty went upstairs to go to sleep on his bed.

And it didn't take very long at all before everyone was fast asleep.
