My name is Kori.

Let's meditate together.

Bring your body into a comfortable position.

Something that works for you where you won't be disturbed by the inner voices of your body saying it's not comfortable,

It aches,

You need to adjust.

Try as much as possible to find a position that you can sit or lay for a long period of time.

And when you found that,

Close off your eyes and let go of the world on the outside.

Bring in your focus and attention fully into the inner.

When you first close off your eyes you'll notice that you can still have the feeling and the sensation as if you're looking out of your eyes.

Even though your eyes are closed,

Imagine that you're staring out into that space there in front of your mind.

It may just look like a big black wide open space.

You might start to see colors or shapes.

Just relax into whatever your inner sight wants to show you.

Allow yourself to keep an open mind and no pressure.

Never put any pressure on your expectations of what your visualizations are supposed to look like.

Just try and relax into that also.

No pressure.

Focus on your breath and start to steady your mind and the different sensations in your body by bringing all of your attention to the way that you're breathing.

Notice the different sensations,

The different movements and feelings inside of your body that's caused by your breathing.

When you breathe in,

See what happens,

Feel what happens,

Notice what happens inside of your body.

When you breathe out,

Do the same thing.

Starting to become very aware of the connections inside of your body to the movement of your breath.

Soften your shoulders.

Put some of your attention onto your shoulders and just check to see if you're holding tension in that part of your body.

And if you can relax and let your shoulders get heavier then do so.

Breathe into your shoulders and allow your breath to start to act as if it's a channel of relaxation.

So if you breathe to different parts of your body,

The breath itself is carrying relaxation so to speak.

Allow your breath to have magical powers inside of your body.

Breathe into your shoulders and let that magic start to melt away any tension or stress so they can fully relax and let go.

Breathe into all the tiny little muscles in your face,

Especially around your tongue and your jaw,

The circular muscles around your eye.

See if you can just imagine the magic of your breath coming to those places on your face and softening the muscles.

Breathing out any tension.

Take your breath all the way down to the base of your abdomen and then in your mind see your breath swirling around your organs,

Your digestive system,

Your bowels,

Relaxing everything as it does so.

Imagine you're breathing your breath into your physical heart.

Feel your breath going down into your heart,

Into your lung cavity and around that space.

And then imagine that your breath connects with your heart and starts to slow it down,

Allowing for a more relaxed pace.

Breathe all the way to the tips of your fingers and just connect to the sensation in your hands and your fingertips.

Breathe all the way down into the tips of your toes.

Feel what's happening inside of your feet and once you know that your body is good,

Everything is fine.

You're softened into the meditation and you're relaxing with your breath.

Bring your attention back to your inner sight and as you stare out into that space there in front of your mind,

Imagine that rather than you being in the space where you are right now,

You're actually walking through the forest.

As you look down at your feet you notice that you're wearing nothing on your feet and that's why you can feel the earth moving and crunching or squishing underneath your feet as you walk.

Notice the temperature of the earth and as you walk forward there in front of you in the midst of all the trees around you,

There's a very tall tree and you can feel yourself being drawn towards that tree.

You can see the sky and the light shining through the canopy up above.

Notice the leaves,

The colors,

The sizes,

The textures all around you everywhere you look.

There's different greens and browns,

Different tones of nature.

When you get to the tree you turn around and slide your back down the bark of the tree until you land gently at the base of the tree,

Crossing your legs,

Keeping your back nice and straight up against the trunk of the tree.

You can feel the earth of the forest underneath your sit bones.

It feels solid and supportive and as you lean fully into the tree you close your eyes.

Closing off your eyes you start to feel and sense and become much more acutely aware of the energy and the vibration coming from the tree.

It's as if you can feel it tingling up and down your spine.

Your energy and the tree's energy are coming together as one,

Supporting each other like you're actually creating an alliance with this tree.

The earth underneath your body at this point feels quite cool but not cold.

If you were to guess where you are and the season that you're in it could probably be autumn.

Not quite fully autumn but definitely after summer because the leaves on the trees are still there but there were so many different colors of them,

So many variations to the colors of nature that quite soon,

Very soon,

The leaves will all probably start to fall.

You settle into the vibration of the tree as if you're anticipating what autumn brings and just like that with your eyes closed you become that tree that you were leaning against.

You're very aware of your root system deep,

Deep down into the ground.

You can feel the vibration in the base of your trunk.

You can almost feel the roots moving and searching and growing deeper moment by moment.

A tingling sensation as if you can feel your roots feeding off the nutrients in the earth absorbing the water from the soil.

As you travel up your trunk as if it's your spine you become aware of a heaviness of the foliage,

The leaves on your branches.

You feel full but not completely full,

Not like you do in summer but you feel full and heavy but you know that there is changes coming.

The wind starts to shift and change around you,

The light coming through the canopy,

Dims,

Less sunshine,

Less brightness.

You can feel things falling from you as if you're letting go,

Letting go of everything that you carry,

Everything that you hold,

Everything that is heavy.

You're getting to that point as if if this was a problem you'd already be at the point where you can't hold it anymore.

There has to be a change,

Something has to shift,

You have to let go.

And just like that you're now in autumn,

Your branches are bare,

You feel exposed,

There's less sun so you feel weaker,

There's less light so you feel tired.

You know that winter's coming,

You need to slow down,

You need to reserve your energy,

Reserve your strength but no matter how hard you try you do feel tired.

You yearn for the rest and the peace and the quiet and the dark that's coming.

You shift through autumn slowly feeling uncomfortable at first with the loss and the change but then adjusting quite quickly to being exposed and open and then as the dark comes closer and closer you notice a heaviness coming over you,

Even more tired instinctively knowing that you need peace,

You need a safe place,

You need quiet.

There's less movement in the forest,

Less animals,

Less busyness,

Less life,

Less activity.

It's like everything around you got the memo that winter is here.

You can feel the cold,

The change.

It's as if part of you are freezing,

Frozen in time.

Everything is standing still.

This is your time to rest,

To cocoon yourself inward away from everything,

To escape and with the solitude you start to get glimpses of clarity.

Little trickles of light start to come through the darkness.

The rest feels like it's done you good.

You feel like you've got stronger.

You feel an excitement of what's to come.

You've healed,

You've rejuvenated,

You have been almost reborn in the stillness and the darkness and as the light peers through more and more as the days pass by you start to grow and change.

You can feel your branches as if they're opening up to new experiences,

Opening wider,

Reaching higher to the light as if the light has new chances,

New choices,

Possibilities and then you start to sprout new growth.

A definite new beginning.

There's more birds chirping.

It's like everybody's waking up around you and you start to see the forest differently through new eyes,

Rested eyes as winter made you heal yourself.

Spring is bringing a reason to start anew.

You can feel more and more growth.

You can feel physical changes.

The earth is softening,

The snow and the frost has melted.

You can feel the metamorphosis happening from the sun,

From allowing the light to come back into your reality.

The light brings joy and happiness and excitement and you can feel it all coming on fast and furious.

The flowers come out,

The bunny rabbits come out,

The earth starts to brighten even more as you step into summer and now there's no stopping you.

You're active,

You've got so much going on,

So many new ideas,

So many new feelings,

A new body,

A new change,

A new exciting way and the bright sunlight feeds you moment to moment with energy,

More energy,

More energy.

You feel like you could conquer the world,

You could take on anything,

You could create new life,

So much life,

You're full of life,

You're buzzing with summer.

It feels good,

Life is good,

You're good,

You feel healthy and strong and vibrant,

You feel happy without trying to be happy,

Everything is good and that can go on for so long and then change comes.

Change is needed,

Change is necessary and with change we get the opportunity to experience something different.

The sun starts to fade,

There's less and less and then your leaves start to get heavy,

You feel too full,

Like burdened,

You just want to let go,

You just like to let go of some of this stuff that you're carrying.

You need to make space,

You need to start to think about resting and so it goes on.

Change comes,

We change,

We flow with the change and then change comes again and again,

Just like the seasons,

Just like our seasons,

Just like the situations of our life.

Life is one big giant circle,

Constantly changing,

No end and no beginning,

The Alpha and the Omega.

It's the infinity,

It's the circle of oneness,

The circle of life,

It's change.

This too shall pass and so it is.

Namaste my friend.

Exactly what I needed at this moment. So many changes. Perfect reminder like my mom’d say: this too will pass. A gift.
