Let's just go in.

If you're not already,

Sit down in your comfortable seated position,

Your meditation,

Comfortable meditation seat,

Whatever that means for you,

Whether you have a pillow,

Or you're on the couch,

Or you're on a chair like me right now.

Make sure that your back is nice and straight.

You can rest your hands on your lap or on your knees,

What feels right for you today.

Close down your eyes if you haven't done so yet.

Feels like no messing around kind of day.

So let's get straight to the point.

Slow down your breathing.

That way,

You'll start to slow down your body,

Your thoughts,

Your nervous system,

All influenced by your breath.

So let's manipulate the breath and slow it down.

I'm going to give you a count that can give you a pace.

If you like the pace,

Please follow it.

If not,

Then find your own pace that feels comfortable for you.

Breathe in,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold your breath.

Breathe out,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold on the empty.

Breathe in,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold.

Breathe out,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold.

Breathe in,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold.

Breathe out,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold.

Allowing that pace to feel comfortable.

Allow that pace to feel relaxed for you,

Calming.

If it doesn't feel any of those things,

Then let the pace go and find your own rhythm.

This is about you feeling comfortable in your meditation.

It's the most important thing.

You can let go of the count in your mind if you're counting and let your body just fall into that flow.

Pull your attention into your abdomen this morning.

Start to become aware of all the different sensations and feelings in your stomach.

I'd like you to focus primarily on your upper tummy,

The upper part of your abdomen,

Where your solar plexus is.

Your solar plexus is the third chakra in the seven main chakras.

Amongst the hundreds of chakras within your energy bodies.

So let's focus on the solar plexus today.

The solar plexus is bright yellow like the sunshine.

The solar plexus is all about your willpower and it's blocked by shame.

Your willpower as in your way in the world,

Your thinking system,

The way that you think about the world,

Mental connection to the world,

Our way of going,

Who we are as a person,

How we think about ourselves.

How do you think about yourself?

Let's sit with that this morning for a few minutes.

Who are you?

What do you think about yourself?

Let's ask the first question or answer the first question.

See what comes to your mind.

Who are you?

Who am I?

How many labels can you create for yourself this morning?

Notice where your mind goes when you ask yourself that question.

Who am I?

Did you come up with the typical,

I'm a woman or I'm a man or I'm a husband or dad or I'm a worker,

I am a dentist or did you label yourself or did you go beyond that?

Can your mind go beyond that?

Who am I?

Do you feel a divide within your who am I?

Can you feel the two representatives of who you are?

The human physical material aspect of who you are and yet you have the spirit,

The soul,

Your higher self,

Your connection to all that is,

Your particular personal aspect of all that is.

Did you go there when you asked yourself who am I or did you stay small?

Meaning did you just stay with the human part of who you are?

Not that that is small by any counts.

Let me ask you this question,

What's my role in this world?

Keep your breath nice and slow,

Relax your shoulders,

Soften your jaw,

Don't allow your thinking to tense your body up.

But just sit with that question,

What's my role in this world?

As you're thinking about that,

I'd like you to imagine that you're sat in the sun and you can see that bright yellow sun in the sky.

Allow it to shine down and shine that solar plexus energy onto your body,

Onto your face.

Start to breathe in that golden light and what if everything in that golden light allowed you to be all that you are?

That golden light that was shining down on your face and your body brought to you the power to be all that you are.

Shining a brighter light on all of the perfections and imperfections and quirks and different parts of who you are that make you individual,

Special.

Unique,

That's probably what your role is in this world,

To bring your own unique self,

To just be you,

However that looks,

It doesn't matter.

What if that was your role,

Just to simply be you?

You didn't have to be anything beyond yourself,

You didn't have to be a light,

Didn't have to be of service,

You didn't have to be something that changes the world,

You didn't have to be anything that sounds like it's work or beyond.

You could just be you.

If you let your shoulders relax and you just feel into your body,

Still visualizing that sun shining down,

What does it feel like to just let yourself be you?

How does your body respond to that?

Thought,

Does it feel comfortable?

Do you get a sense of relief?

A feeling of ease that runs through your being?

If you're not trying to be anything other than yourself right now,

What does it feel like to just let yourself be you?

Complete acceptance of who you are,

Can you imagine that?

No arguments in the back of your mind that says but,

But,

I can't,

But I can't because but,

None of that.

Imagine the sun in the sky is just filling all of your body with this bright golden yellow light that is full of all of your potential,

Your power.

It's kind of blasting away all the shadows that stop you from being everything that you are.

Taking away all the reasons that you give yourself for not seeing who you are.

Keep breathing down into your abdomen.

Imagine your actual solar plexus is wide open,

Full,

Full to the brim of bright yellow golden light.

Feel the golden light spread across your chest,

Down into your hips.

Feel it moving down your arms towards your hands.

Feel it travel up into your head.

Let it move down into your legs,

All the way down to your feet.

Feel as if you're like the sun itself and the light is radiating off you into the space around you.

This light is like this with you all the time but you're unaware of it.

The whole being is like this all of the time.

Maybe it's just covered with layers and thoughts and beliefs but it's in there.

I think if you believed that this was you and you had this much light that you could illuminate all of your paths forward because you have the knowing inside of you.

This is like your knowing,

Your wisdom.

This light,

This part of you has your back at all times.

This is the part of you that when push comes to shove,

You have a knowing that you will be okay.

Things will work out,

You'll survive.

That's this part of you.

Right here now,

That's all lit up.

Showing you the way just like the sun does,

Putting a light on everything.

When your solar plexus is fully activated and completely open,

This is what it feels like.

Your power,

Your will,

Your choice.

And with that being said,

Keeping that light with you,

Knowing it's always there even if you don't feel it or see it.

I'm going to count to three and when I do,

You can slowly open your eyes and come back into your space.

One,

Two,

Three.

Opening your eyes.

You can gently move your fingers or your toes,

Maybe do a light stretch with your neck to the left or to the right.

Coming back into your physical body completely.

Ready for whatever comes your way,

Knowing that the light is inside of you and it's with you.

Your will,

Your personal perfect power.

Namaste to that,

My friends.
