And all is well in the world so that you can relax your body and let go of your busy,
Busy day.
Stephanie was in her bedroom getting ready to go to Moonbow Forest.
It had been some time since she'd been.
She needed some fun.
I mean,
She had fun in her regular life all the time,
But.
.
.
She knew it was a different kind of fun at Moonbow Forest.
The bestest kind of fun.
Stephanie went over to a dressing table in her bedroom and sat down on the chair.
She opened up her jewelry box and took out her magical earrings.
The ones that she got for her birthday such a long time ago now.
Stephanie reached into the jewelry box,
Took out the earrings and put the left one in first,
And she instantly started to feel the tingles in her body.
Then she went ahead and put the right earring in and felt even stronger tingles.
That's how Stephanie knows that it's working,
The magic is working.
Fingers started to tingle,
Her toes started to tingle,
And then her whole body.
And then her nose started to itch and twitch,
And she felt like she was going to sneeze,
Just the biggest sneeze.
And then,
The veil,
The curtain between the two worlds,
This world that she lived in,
Here on Earth,
And then Moonbow Forest,
A completely other world,
Was beyond the veil.
She looked at the veil,
The curtain there in front of her face,
And noticed that she could see some shadows and shapes through it like she normally could.
She could tell already that things looked a little bit different,
But she wasn't sure why yet,
Until she pulled back the curtain with her left hand and stepped into the other world,
Moonbow Forest.
Her feet touched the grass,
The soft,
Prickly,
Thick,
Lush,
Carpety grass,
And she knew that she was there.
When she opened her eyes and looked around,
She noticed that there was a very big hill in front of her,
And it looked like,
From where she was,
That people were sledding down the hill,
Even though there was no snow.
The grass was lush and green,
The day was sunny and bright,
But it looked like a sledding hill.
People were on sleds,
Sliding down the grass.
It was a big,
Steep hill.
Luna walked through a couple of trees that were on her left and smiled at Stephanie.
Hi,
Stephanie,
Welcome back,
She said.
Stephanie walked over to Luna and gave her a big hug,
Wrapping her arms around Luna's neck,
And then pressing her forehead to Luna's forehead,
And taking a few breaths with her eyes closed,
Just to connect to one of her bestest friends.
They both opened their eyes and smiled,
And Stephanie said,
Where am I?
What's this part of Moonbow Forest?
I don't think I've been here before.
No,
No,
You haven't,
But I just sensed that you needed a little bit of fun today.
Stephanie said,
You always know me so well.
It looks like a lot of fun,
Not a little bit of fun.
Is that where we're going,
To that hill right there,
Where everybody's sledding?
Luna nodded,
Yes,
It won't take us very long,
We can walk.
Luna and Stephanie started to walk towards the hill.
While they were walking,
Luna said,
This is called Catslip,
Catslip Hill.
Oh,
Said Stephanie,
Why is it called Catslip Hill?
But then the closer that they got,
The closer that Stephanie could see,
And what she saw was not children or people sledding down the hill.
It was cats.
Cats on sleds.
Lots and lots of cats.
I'd say at least a hundred cats.
The sleds were all bright colours.
And the cats were meowing very loudly.
You could hear them going,
Every time they went down,
Which was really,
Really cute.
And the closer that they got,
The louder it got.
Stephanie plugged her ears.
They're so loud,
She said.
Luna laughed.
It's part of the fun.
You have to make that noise on your way down.
Luna said,
It feels really good.
Trust me.
OK,
Said Stephanie.
When they got to the bottom of the hill,
There was clearly an area where all the cats were walking back up the hill with their sleds.
So Stephanie got in the line and started to walk towards the top of the hill.
There were three very cute cats in front of her.
One of them was white and fluffy.
She had on a princess tiara and she had on a pink princess fluffy skirt.
The other one had glasses.
Stephanie thought it was very funny.
Her glasses were upside down.
She wanted to say,
Hey,
Do you know your glasses are upside down?
But then she realised that the cat's glasses were upside down because they stayed on her ears better that way.
They went under and then over the back of her ears.
Interesting,
Stephanie thought.
That cat was grey.
She was a grey tabby.
And then the other cat was ginger.
A ginger tabby.
And she was wearing an OMG T-shirt.
Stephanie thought the T-shirt was very cool.
She leaned forward and said,
I like your T-shirt.
The cat turned around and said,
OMG,
Thanks.
Thanks so much.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I make them.
Can't buy them anywhere.
You know,
I make them.
And I've got so many friends.
So many friends.
So many fans.
So many of my girlfriends,
Even boyfriends.
Well,
I don't.
Not real boyfriends.
You know,
Like friends that are boys.
Yeah.
Well,
I do.
Well,
No,
I don't really.
And then she blushed.
The cat actually blushed.
The grey cat said,
Hi,
My name's Heidi.
This is my sister,
Cherry.
She pointed to the ginger tabby with the OMG T-shirt.
And then she pointed to the other cat that was white and fluffy.
And she said,
And this is Vea.
Vea said,
Hi.
Hi,
Pleased to meet you.
Cherry said,
OMG,
Have you been here before?
I mean,
It's so much fun,
This hill.
Cat Slip Hill is like my favouritest,
Most favouritest place to go.
It's one of those places,
You know,
Where I want to tell all my friends about it.
But you can't because I mean,
How can you tell them about a place that's magical?
Heidi said,
Shh.
Stephanie said,
It's OK.
I know all about the magic here.
My name's Stephanie,
By the way.
Pleased to meet you guys.
Cherry said,
OMG,
How do you know about the magic?
Do you have a magical pair of underpants?
Stephanie looked at Luna.
Luna shrugged her shoulders.
Stephanie said,
No,
Is that how you get here?
Cherry said,
No,
That'd be telling,
Wouldn't it?
Can't tell,
I have to take it to the grave.
Take it to the grave we do,
Don't we girls?
We take it to the grave.
But,
You know,
Just saying.
Do you?
Stephanie said,
No,
No,
I don't have magical underpants.
But I do have magical earrings.
Oh?
Said the ginger one.

Anyway,
Obviously they must be magical because you got here too.
And I mean,
Not everybody can come to Moonbow Forest,
You know.
I mean,
It's like the bestest place,
Toppest secret.
It's better than like,
What do you call it?
What's that really cute guy?

The white cat started laughing and covered her mouth.
It's Tom Cruise,
Cherry,
Tom Cruise.
Oh,
Yeah.

Yeah,
It's like that.
It's Mission Impossible.
It's so hard to get here,

But,
You know,
Sometimes we have friends.

The ginger cat winked at Luna.
And Luna winked back.
That's when Stephanie knew that obviously these three cats,
Or whoever many cats here on this hill,
Knew Luna personally.
Luna had the funniest look on her face while she was listening to the ginger cat,
As if to say,
Yeah,
It's okay.
The ginger cats like this all the time.
Stephanie read Luna's face and thought,
Wow,
This is a very funny cat.
The one with the glasses on,
The grey one,
Heidi,
Turned around and said,
Yeah,
We come here sometimes but not very often.
We really like it here.
It's got the best library.
Stephanie said,
Library?
I don't think I've been to the library before.
Oh,
Yeah,
You can read the books and you can eat the books.
I mean,
How can that be bad?
The white cat and the ginger cat all started nodding with the grey cat at the same time as if to say,
Yeah,
Are you crazy?
I mean,
You can read a book and then you can actually eat the book after you've read it.
How cool is that?
Stephanie said,
But what about the library?
I mean,
Don't they run out of books?
Oh,
No,
Said Heidi.
They just reappear.
It's very magical.
Stephanie started laughing and said,
Yeah,
Well,
This whole place is really,
Isn't it?
And then all three cats laughed and Stephanie laughed and Luna laughed.
This was all while they were moving higher and higher and higher up Cat Slip Hill.
They were almost at the top.
And then Stephanie realised that she didn't have a slide.
The ginger cat,
Cherry,
Said,
Oh,
I'm Jay,
Steph.
We're friends now.
We're besties friends.
I mean,
I would consider you one of my friends.
Do you go on Tiki Toki?
Because I'm on Tiki Toki.
If you go on Tiki Toki,
You'll find me on there.
Yeah,
Anyway,
You can use my slide with me.
We'll go down together.
We'll double up.
We'll be twins.
We'll be twins,

Stephanie said.
Oh,
OK.
Thanks,
Cherry.
That's really nice of you.
When they got to the top,
Heidi came first.
So she went down first on her slide.
And then Vea,
Her sister,
Followed.
And then Stephanie,
All she could hear at the top was the boop boop.
Or should I say,
Boop boop.
That's what Heidi sounded like and Vea sounded like.
And then Cherry got on the front of the slide and she turned around and looked at Stephanie and she said,
You have to say meow.
And yeah,
Because that makes the ride so much better.
Stephanie said,
Right.
OK,
I can do that.
And that was it.
Luna pushed them off and they went down the massive,
Enormous cat slip hill.
They went so fast.
Stephanie wasn't expecting it.
Meow,
Said Cherry.
Stephanie said,
Meow.
The wind kept catching her breath.
It was really fast,
Like really,
Really fast.
The whole way down,
Stephanie almost peed herself.
Cherry was shouting the whole way down.
Cherry,
I'm going to pee my pants.
Not my magical pants.
That would be telling.
By now,
Stephanie obviously realised that,
Yes,
Cherry does have magical pants and that's how she gets here.
She didn't know how Heidi or Vea got there,
But she definitely could figure out that Cherry got there with magical pants.
She thought it was really funny.
I wonder how you get magical pants?
Stephanie thought to herself.
And then the next thought was,
How is no one flying off these sleds?
It goes so fast.
And then the next thought was,
Wow,
This is so much fun.
And then the next thought was,
How is no one having any accidents?
And then the next thought was,
They were at the bottom.
And it was over.
And they had to go all the way back up Cat Slip Hill once again.
Stephanie had the bestest time with these very funny cats.
She met lots of other cats along the way.
But she really did have fun with Heidi,
Cherry and Vea.
She would hope that she would see them again sometime on Cat Slip Hill.
But you never know because every time she goes there,
She does something different.
Maybe she'd be able to go back someday,
She hoped.
It was time to walk back to the curtain with Luna.
Time to go home.
They chatted all the way back.
They laughed a lot about the ginger cat.
She was so funny.
Stephanie said,
I really did like her t-shirt though.
I would love an OMG t-shirt like that.
It was so cool.
Luna said,
She made me one,
One time for Christmas.
Maybe if you get to know her better,
She'll make you one too.
Stephanie said,
Oh I'd love that.
And then,
Just like that,
Without even thinking about it,
Stephanie was back in her bedroom.
She found herself sat at a dressing table,
Staring at herself in the mirror.
But this time she had the biggest smile on her face.
She had so much fun.
