Are you ready to meditate with Cori?
Climb up into your bed and get super,
Super comfortable.
It's time to let go of the rest of your day.
It's time to get cozy and comfy in your bed so that you can relax your body and let go of a busy,
Busy day.
Laying out there on the grass after playing a long time,
Your body feels super tired.
So tired you've been playing really hard like sweating,
Running,
Laughing,
Laying.
And now you're laid on the grass and it's really nice.
The grass feels soft and spongy like laying on the covers on your bed.
And you close your eyes for a second.
The sun feels nice and warm on your body.
So it feels like you're inside and it's all warm and cozy.
But yet there's fresh air all around and you can hear the birds.
Maybe you can hear a dog barking down the road.
Maybe you can hear cars passing by.
Maybe you can hear really,
Really distant voices,
People laughing and being in good moods.
When you open your eyes,
You notice that there's hummingbirds flying around the bushes close by.
And they're all pretty colors.
And then you notice something even cooler than that.
There's a tiny little ladybug.
Just landed on your arm,
On your t-shirt.
You look at it and notice it has three spots.
Hello,
You say.
Hi,
Little ladybug.
The ladybug is really,
Really tiny.
Not too big.
And somehow its face looks really cute,
As if it's smiling at you.
And you say it again.
Hello,
Ladybug.
My name's.
.
.
And the ladybug says,
Hi,
My name's Lily.
The ladybug moves on your t-shirt.
And it sits right there on your chest.
And as you peer down your nose and you look at the ladybug,
You say,
Hi,
Lily.
And Lily says,
Hi,
I've come to help you relax.
And you say,
You have?
You've come to help me go to sleep?
And Lily says,
Yes,
I'm really good at that.
Are you ready?
And you go,
Yeah.
Lily says,
Close your eyes,
Sugarplum.
You smile because you think that's a cute name.
And you close your eyes.
Good job,
Says Lily.
Now,
Take a nice big deep breath.
Breathe all the way down to your cute little toes.
Everything Lily says,
You start to do.
Breathe out and imagine that you're blowing out a big,
Big candle.
A big,
Big candle.
Not just a tiny candle,
A big candle,
Like the biggest candle you've ever seen.
This makes you giggle a little bit because Lily's very enthusiastic about putting you to sleep.
But you do as she says,
And you blow out as if you're blowing out the biggest candle that you've ever seen.
Good job,
Cutie pie,
Says Lily.
And that makes you smile a little bit again.
You're starting to realize that Lily has some really sweet names for you.
Okay,
Now it's time,
It's time to relax your legs.
You know your legs.
And you think to yourself,
Yes,
I think I do know my legs.
Then Lily says,
Yeah,
Your legs.
It's time to relax your legs.
So imagine that your legs are like feathers,
White feathers.
Yeah,
Lovely white feathers.
And,
And your legs feel very light,
Very,
Very light,
All floaty,
Like a cloud.
And you start to do this in your mind and it's working.
Your legs feel all floaty like a cloud.
That's really,
Really good,
Muffin.
Now,
Now imagine that your arms are all floaty.
They're all floaty like balloons,
As if you've got all different colored balloons lifting up your arms.
So light,
So light,
Light,
Light.
So floaty,
Lily says.
And you do,
As Lily says,
And for some reason,
She seems to sense every time you do it,
Because when you start to feel as if your arms are floating like balloons,
Lily can tell.
And she says,
There we go,
My little sugar.
Perfect.
Very good.
Lily's voice is nice and calm and soft and warm,
Just like a best friend.
And you notice that you are getting kind of sleepy and relaxed.
Then Lily says,
Okay,
It's time to relax.
Time to relax your face.
Time to relax all the spaces in your face,
Your eyes,
Your nose,
Your ears.
Let's do them one by one.
Relax your eyes.
Let your eyes feel as if they're rolling back.
And you're staring up at the sun.
But really,
You're not because your eyes are closed.
You let your eyes relax and roll back,
And Lily can tell.
Lily says,
That's it,
My little cherry.
You're just like a cherry pie.
So sweet.
Relax your nose now.
Feel it get all light and fluffy.
Imagine your nose is like a marshmallow,
All light and fluffy and full of air.
This makes you smile.
And also makes you a little bit hungry.
But your nose does feel very marshmallowy.
And Lily can tell.
And she says,
Good job,
Peanut butter cup.
Way to go.
Then Lily moves on.
She helps you to relax your lips.
She helps you to relax your jaw,
Your cheeks,
Your forehead.
Lily says,
Now you have to let your shoulders get really,
Really heavy before they can get really,
Really light.
But trust me,
We can do it.
Imagine that your shoulders are like big,
Big potatoes.
So heavy.
A potato.
Heavy for me,
Said Lily.
But you know what she means.
And you relax your shoulders so they feel like heavy potatoes.
And Lily says,
Way to go,
Cheerio.
Now you have to imagine that your shoulders have been lifted up by nice,
Big,
Soft,
Gentle hands.
All light.
As if you're weightless.
You take a nice,
Big,
Deep breath and do just what Lily suggests.
By now,
Your whole body feels super,
Super comfortable.
Lily was right.
She's good at this.
Then she says,
And now,
Now that you feel all cozy inside,
I'm going to tell you a story.
Once upon a time,
There was a little ladybug called Lily.
Lily was so awesome.
Lily was three years old.
That's why she had three dots.
Yep,
That's how it goes.
And Lily,
Lily was like,
I'm really good at putting people to sleep.
Lily lived in a tree close by.
And Lily liked to eat watermelon.
Lily,
Lily,
Lily,
Lily,
Lily.
You could tell that Lily had run out of things to say about Lily,
But still,
It sounded very relaxing.
Oh,
Yes,
Lily likes to wear shoes.
Yeah,
Surprise.
Some ladybugs do,
You know.
And then she giggled.
Not really.
I don't have feet for shoes like that.
But it would be nice to wear shoes.
Lily went on and on and on.
And you started to notice that her voice got softer and softer.
And it started to sound as if it was further and further away.
Quieter and quieter,
Until Lily's voice seemed to just drift off into the background somewhere.
And your body got lighter and lighter.
And you felt so sleepy.
So tired.
Lily made you feel safe and comfortable.
Enough to make you fall to sleep.
As you are falling to sleep,
You're hoping that Lily will be there when you wake up.
And I bet she is.
But until then,
You can't sleep.
You can let yourself sleep.
Falling deeper and deeper into sleep.
Feeling so cozy and comfortable.
You're safe and warm.
Night,
Night,
Sugarplum.
Sweet dreams.

I didn't like the names she called me but other than that I enjoyed it. I have a story for you too! The Lynx and the Penguin Lynxs opened her blue eyes and stretched her front paws out infront of her. She crept silently out of her cave and smelt the air. Breathing in all the smells. She smelt the smell of salty water and feathers. Lynx followed the scent and found three penguins. She leaped and landed infeont of the penguins. 2 of the penguins slipped into the ocean leaving the smallest with Lynx. Lynx said 'Helo!' In a cheerful voice. The penguin said 'Hello fellow creature from the wonderess forests.' In a fearless voice. 'I'm Penguin. And you are?' Lynx replied 'It's Lynx. That's my name.' Ever since that day, Lynx and Penguin have been the best of friends. Thank-you for reading my story. Be free to make requests for Lynx and Penguin storys! -Harper♥️♥️
